Eine Vorrichtung zur Vereinzelung von flachen Sendungen ist beispielsweise aus der DE 43 28 434 bekannt. In einer solchen Vorrichtung erfolgt eine Vereinzelung von flachen Sendungen aus einem Stapel mit einem in Förderrichtung laufenden Abzugorgan, welches durch Reibung auf die jeweils abzuziehende Sendung einwirkt. Diese Vorrichtung weist eine mit dem Abzugorgan eine Durchlaßöffnung bildende Leitwand für die von einer Auflagefläche unterstützten Sendungen auf. Ein bestimmter Anteil der Sendungen ist, verursacht durch den vorhergehenden Transport bzw. durch das Abbinden in Bunden, eingerissen oder auch umgebogen. Üblicherweise werden solche Sendungen ohne weitere Bearbeitung auf die Auflagefläche der Vereinzelungsvorrichtung gelegt und mit ihren gegebenenfalls umgebogenen Vorderkanten vom Abzugorgan eingezogen. Sie werden dabei noch weiter umgebogen bzw. gefaltet. Solche an ihrer Vorderkante umgebogenen Sendungen verursachen bei der weiteren Bearbeitung Schwierigkeiten, da z. B. der Abstand Vorderkante zu einer angebrachten Codierung nicht mehr den vorgeschriebenen Wert aufweist. Dies führt dazu, daß korrekt codierte Sendungen fälschlicherweise ausgeschieden werden. Ein weiteres Problem besteht darin, daß beim späteren Abstapeln solcher Sendungen die nachfolgende Sendung in die umgebogene Vorderkante gleitet. Dies kann zu einer mechanischen Verhakung der beiden Sendungen führen, die nicht oder nur mit großen Schwierigkeiten wieder aufgelöst werden kann.A device for separating flat mail items is known for example from DE 43 28 434.
