Abstract

A folding shutter whose blind (2) is connected to at least one movable profile strip (1), the profile member (3,4,5) of which is terminated towards the blind (2) by a means (5) for fastening the blind (2) and at at least one end is provided with an end cap (7) which forms a guide (14) for a cord (15,16) emerging from the inside of the profile strip (1), which cord is then guided under tension along the lateral edge of the shading surface, characterised in that the end cap (7) is extended beyond the profile members (3,4,5) of the profile strip (1) in the cord direction towards the side of the blind by an extension member (12), on which is provided a means (17), formed by a groove (17), for aligning the strip cross-section with the cord direction.
A folding shutter according to Claim 1, characterised in that the groove (17) extends over the entire length of the guide (14) up to the end of the extension member (12).
A folding shutter according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the end portion (7) has a second guide (14) in the opposite direction to the previously mentioned first guide, and the groove (17) extends over the entire height of the end cap (7).
A folding shutter according to any one of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the first guide and the second guide have in the cord direction a distance apart which is greater than the freedom of movement of the cords (14,16) transversely to the shading plane.
A folding shutter according to Claim 4, characterised in that the guide (14) for the cords (15,16) is formed by a slot with its longitudinal axis extending in the shading plane.
A folding shutter according to any one of Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that on the profile member (3,4,5) there is disposed at least one profile shield (6) which extends beyond the means (5) for fastening the blind (2) on the blind side of the strip approximately parallel to the plane of the blind.
A folding shutter according to Claim 6, characterised in that the extension member (12) of the end cap (7) and the profile shield (6) terminate flush.
A folding shutter according to Claim 6 or 7, characterised in that the opening (14) forming the guide surfaces inside the cross-section of the profile member (3,4,5) is disposed offset from it centre towards the extension member (12).
