- end flange 35 b of the first end underdrawing sheet 35 shown in Figure 6 and shown at 4 in Figure 9 and end flange 37 b of other end underdrawing sheet 37, shown in Figure 8 and at 5 in Figure 9, are in contact with the internal faces of the two end joists 24 and 25, and web part 37 d of other end underdrawing sheet 37 is made wider than the web parts 36 c , 36 f of the intermediate sheets 36, (in the present example 10mm wider) to accommodate any tolerance in spacing of the components.

A8155GB.
- the foam material shown in the drawings diagrammatically at 41, is bonded to the above described components and thus provides a composite structural sandwich floor structure which is capable of accommodating tension forces in the lower part of the panel.
- a suitable thermal break such as wood or other thermally insulating material may be provided between the upper surface of joist and/or the side beams and the underside of the floor deck panels 32.
- the provision of the above described underdrawing sheets ensures that thermal efficiency is maintained and minimises risk of puncturing during transport and handling and because the non-permeable nature of the components of the floor structure which define the chambers 40 any loss of the gas from the cells of the foam plastics material is minimised.
- the cells contain carbon dioxide which has relatively good thermal insulation properties and therefore even if carbon dioxide permeates from the foam plastics material it is retained within the floor structure because of the impermeable nature of the components defining the chambers.
- the composite structure described hereinbefore permits the spacing of the joists to be increased compared with that provided previously for joints of the same size.
- the joists are spaced 800mm apart whilst hitherto the spacing had typically been 400mm. If desired the spacing and size of the joists may be varied from that described hereinbefore as appropriate for the load conditions encountered in service.
- the foam plastics material has a thickness of approximately 50mm but if desired it may be of a different thickness either greater or smaller and the underdrawing sheets being profiled accordingly. If desired the underdrawing sheets may be planar in which case the foam plastics material would have a thickness corresponding to the depth of the joists.
- wood particle board packers 42 are provided as shown in Figures 3 and 4.
- a foam tape is positioned between the main parts 35 a and 37 a of the end underdrawing sheet and the particle board packers 42.
- the end joists 24, 25 and the side beams 11 and 12 are connected together at the four corners of the floor using a connecting angle 9 to which the webs of the joists and side beams are riveted.
- the end underdrawing sheets 35 and 37 are provided with recesses at the corners having the flanges 35 b and 37 b to accommodate the angle 9.

Claims (16)
- Structure de plancher dans ou pour une unité de bâtiment portable, la structure de plancher (10) comprenant un cadre de plancher comprenant une paire de poutres latérales (11, 12) reliées ensemble par des solives s'étendant transversalement (23) et un panneau de plancher (31) soutenu sur le cadre de plancher, un matériau de dessous de plancher et d'isolation (41), placé entre le panneau de plancher (31) et le dessous de plancher, caractérisé en ce que le matériau d'isolation thermique (41) est pris en sandwich et collé entre le panneau de plancher (31) et la plaque de dessous de plancher (35, 36, 37), la plaque de dessous de plancher étant espacée du panneau de plancher avec les solives (23) placées entre le panneau de plancher (31) et la plaque de dessous de plancher (35, 36, 37).
- Structure de plancher selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle le matériau d'isolation thermique (41) comprend un matériau de mousse plastique expansée rigide tel qu'un matériau d'isolation polymère à alvéoles fermées, par exemple de polyuréthane.
- Structure de plancher selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle le panneau de plancher (31) et la plaque de dessous de plancher (35, 36, 37) engagent respectivement des surfaces de dessus et de dessous des solives (23).
- Structure de plancher selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle la plaque de dessous de plancher (35, 36, 37) est profilée avec une pluralité de creux parallèles espacés (38) dans lesquels sont reçus une partie des solives.
- Structure de plancher selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle la plaque de dessous de plancher (35, 36, 37) comprend une plaque métallique ou une plaque d'un matériau plastique synthétique.
- Structure de plancher selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle le panneau de plancher (31) et la plaque de dessous de plancher (35, 36, 37) sont réalisés dans un matériau imperméable ou au moins sensiblement imperméable au gaz.
- Structure de plancher selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle le panneau de plancher (31) comprend une pluralité d'éléments de panneau de plancher (32) placés côte à côte.
- Structure de plancher selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle le dessous de plancher comprend une pluralité de plaques de dessous de plancher (35, 36, 37)
- Structure de plancher selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle des parties de bord adjacentes (F1, F2, F3, F4) de plaques adjacentes (35, 36, 37) sont placées de manière à se chevaucher.
- Structure de plancher selon la revendication 4 ou l'une quelconque des revendications 5 à 9 lorsqu'elles sont dépendantes de la revendication 4, dans laquelle chaque creux (38) est de configuration générale trapézoïdale comprenant une paire de branches (39) qui s'étendent vers le bas en s'éloignant du panneau de plancher (31) et vers l'intérieur, l'une vers l'autre, et une partie plate (46) s'étendant entre les extrémités inférieures des branches parallèles au panneau de plancher (31).
- Structure de plancher selon les revendications 9 ou 10, dans laquelle un bord d'une plaque de dessous de plancher d'une paire de plaques de dessous de plancher adjacentes (35, 36, 37) est équipé d'une première branche (36b) dirigée vers le bas et vers l'intérieur, d'une partie plate (36c) à l'extrémité inférieure de la première branche (36b) et d'une seconde branche dirigée vers le haut et vers l'extérieur en s'éloignant de la partie plate (36c) alors que le bord adjacent de la deuxième plaque de la paire est pourvu d'une première branche (36), dirigée vers le bas et vers l'intérieur, d'une partie plate (36f) à l'extrémité inférieure de la première branche (36e) et d'une seconde branche (36g) dirigée vers le haut et vers l'extérieur en s'éloignant de la partie plate (36f), la première branche (36e), la partie plate (36f) et la seconde branche (36g) de l'autre plaque 36 étant disposées pour être placées en chevauchement avec des parties de branches (36b, 36d) et de partie plate (36c) de la première plaque (36).
- Structure de plancher la revendication 10 ou 11 lorsqu'elle dépend de la revendication 10, dans laquelle une solive (23) est engagée avec une surface dirigée vers l'intérieur de la partie plate (36c) d'une plaque et une fixation s'étend au travers d'une partie de solive et des deux parties plates (36c, 36f) pour fixer lesdits éléments ensemble.
- Structure de plancher selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle chaque plaque de dessous de plancher d'extrémité (35, 37) est pourvue d'une bride (35b, 37b) adaptée pour engager des solives d'extrémité opposée (24, 25) de la structure de plancher (10).
- Structure de plancher selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle un moyen d'étanchéité est prévu entre les parties de bord de chaque plaque de dessous de plancher (35, 36, 37), à l'endroit où la plaque de dessous de plancher engage des solives d'extrémité (24, 25) et/ou les poutres latérales (11, 12).
- Structure de plancher selon la revendication 14, dans laquelle le moyen d'étanchéité comprend un matériau en ruban de mousse plastique (39).
- Structure de plancher selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle une barrière thermique est prévue entre la surface supérieure des solives (23, 24, 25) et/ou poutres latérales (11, 12) et la surface de dessous des panneaux de plancher (31).
