Abstract

The fitting has an overflow head (2) and a drain pipe (3), which can be fastened to a bathtub (5), by means of a mounting panel (8). The head and the pipe are made from different materials, preferably brass and plastic, and can be connected to, and released from, each other. The end of the pipe which faces the overflow head is designed as a flexible component (4), and has an external screw-thread which corresponds with the internal thread on the head. Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Armatur für den Badewannenein- und -überlauf mit Überlaufkopf, Halteplatte, Einlaufkopf und auf der Außenseite der Wanne angebrachtem Ablaufrohr mit zwischengesetztem Flexteil.The invention relates to a fitting for the bathtub inlet and overflow with overflow head, holding plate, inlet head and drain pipe attached to the outside of the tub with an interposed flexible part.

Derartige Armaturen werden im oberen Bereich von Badewannen und dergleichen eingesetzt, um einerseits ein möglichst geräuscharmes Einlaufen des Wassers zu ermöglichen und gleichzeitig um ein Überlaufen der Wanne oder dergleichen zu verhindern. Vom Überlaufkopf ausgehend verläuft das Ablaufrohr auf der Außenseite der Wanne deren Wandung folgend bis zum Boden, wo es in das Ablaufrohr des Wasserablaufs übergeht. Aufgrund der unterschiedlichen Formgebung der Wannen und dergleichen ist der obere Bereich des Ablaufrohres mit einem Flexteil ausgerüstet, so daß das Ablaufrohr leichter der Form der Wanne angepaßt werden kann. Überlaufkopf und Ablaufrohr bzw. Flexteil bilden eine Baueinheit, die als solche angeliefert und auch eingebaut wird. Nachteilig dabei ist, daß insbesondere bei beengten Verhältnissen die Montage erschwert ist, wenn das den Überlaufkopf bildende Endstück des Ablaufrohres in das Überlaufloch der Wanne eingesetzt werden muß. Dann nützt auch das flexible Zwischenstück nichts, weil das Einfädeln des Überlaufkopfes in die Wanne entsprechend schwierig und durch das Flexteil nicht erleichtert ist. Nachteilig ist außerdem, daß nach dem Einführen des Überlaufkopfes die Halteplatte aufgeschraubt wird, wobei insbesondere im Endbereich der Fixierung der Überlaufkopf sich mitbewegen kann, so daß ein Schrauben wesentlich erschwert ist.Such fittings are used in the upper area of bathtubs and the like, on the one hand to allow the water to run in as quietly as possible and at the same time to prevent the bathtub or the like from overflowing. Bei einer derart ausgebildeten Armatur ist es überraschend einfach möglich, auch unter sehr beengten Verhältnissen die Armatur zu montieren, da der Überlaufkopf in der Regel bereits vorab an der Wanne angebracht werden kann. Er wird dabei über die Halteplatte so fixiert, daß anschließend das Anbringen des Ablaufrohres wesentlich erleichtert ist, wobei dies wie erwähnt im Nachhinein erfolgen kann, da Überlaufkopf und Ablaufrohr bzw. Flexteil lösbar miteinander verbunden sind. Vorteilhaft ist dabei, daß der Überlaufkopf vorab schon festgelegt ist, so daß dann das Einschrauben von unten her ohne Probleme möglich ist, da die entsprechende Ausnehmung mit dem Gewinde leicht zu erreichen ist. Nach dem Einschrauben des Ablaufrohres kann dieses gut mit dem weiterführenden Rohr verbunden werden, weil es im oberen Teil über das Flexteil verfügt, so daß unter Berücksichtigung der Wannenform eine leichte und sichere Verbindung mit dem weiteren Ablaufrohr erreicht werden kann.With a fitting designed in this way, it is surprisingly easy to mount the fitting even under very cramped conditions, since the overflow head can usually be attached to the tub in advance. Damit wird es möglich, im Nachhinein noch Korrekturen bezüglich des Sitzes des Überlaufkopfes an der Wanne bzw. in der Wanne vorzunehmen, da ein Mitdrehen beim Anbringen der Halteplatte nicht zu befürchten ist. Vielmehr werden nach Aufeinandersetzen von Halteplatte bzw. Haltering und Überlaufkopf die Senkschrauben angebracht und zwar ohne daß ein Mitdrehen des Überlaufkopfes überhaupt zu befürchten ist. Darüber hinaus ist es auch möglich, den Überlaufkopf oben auf dem Ablaufrohr sitzend in das Überlaufloch einzuführen und dann erst festzulegen, wenn sich dies als zweckmäßig erweist. Hierzu verfügt sowohl der Überlaufkopf 2 über ein Gewinde 33 wie auch das Flexteil 4 über ein Außengewinde 34, die beide miteinander korrespondierend ausgebildet sind. Dadurch ist es möglich, wie schon mehrfach erwähnt, den Überlaufkopf 2 zunächst mit der Wanne 5 zu verbinden und zwar durch Festlegen des Halteringes 9 über die Senkschrauben 10, um dann beispielsweise erst im Nachhinein das Ablaufrohr 3 mit dem Flexteil 4 anzubringen, d. h. zu verschrauben. Ein Austreten von Wasser in diesem Bereich wird dadurch verhindert, daß ein Dichtungsring 35 über das Außengewinde 34 geschoben ist, der sich gegen den Stabilisierungsansatz 36 abstützt. dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß der über die Halteplatte (8) an der Wanne (5) festlegbare Überlaufkopf (2) und das Ablaufrohr (3) aus unterschiedlichem Material und zwar vorzugsweise aus Messing und Kunststoff bestehend und lösbar miteinander verbunden sind und daß das dem Messingüberlaufkopf (2) zugewandte Ende (32) des Kunststoffüberlaufrohres (3) als Flexteil (4) ausgebildet ist und über ein mit einem dem Überlaufkopf zugeordneten Gewinde (33) korrespondierendes Außengewinde (34) verfügt.
