Abstract

The fitting has an overflow head (2) and a drain pipe (3), which can be fastened to a bathtub (5), by means of a mounting panel (8). The head and the pipe are made from different materials, preferably brass and plastic, and can be connected to, and released from, each other. The end of the pipe which faces the overflow head is designed as a flexible component (4), and has an external screw-thread which corresponds with the internal thread on the head.
