- Device for fixing a cladding slab or panel (10), in particular of natural stone such as granite, on walls (12), in particular plane vertical walls, in order to produce curtain walls, said device comprising a frame for fixing said slab (10) to said wall (12), said frame consisting on the one hand of lateral columns (14) which are vertical in the position of use and on the other hand of two profiles (15, 15') which are horizontal in the position of use, one profile being an upper profile and the other a lower profile, said upper profile (15) having a folded down edge and said lower profile (15') having a folded up edge, each of the folded edges being designed to engage in a corresponding groove (18, 18') provided on the back of said slab (10), characterised in that said vertical lateral columns (14) are equipped with means for attachment (22, 22') to said wall (12) produced in the form of slots or notches (22, 22') designed to engage in rack rails (20) or fixing shafts designed to be fixed to the wall (12).
- Device for fixing a cladding slab or panel (10), in particular of natural stone such as granite, on walls (12), in particular plane vertical walls, in order to produce curtain walls, characterised in that said device comprises a solid rectangular plate for fixing said panel (10) to said wall (12), said fixing plate presenting two lateral edges which are vertical and one upper and one lower edge which are horizontal in the position of use, said vertical lateral edges being folded back to define vertical lateral columns (14) and the horizontal upper edge and horizontal lower edge being folded back to define two horizontal profiles (15, 15'), said upper profile (15) having a folded down edge and said lower profile (15') having a folded up edge, each of the folded back edges of the horizontal profiles (15, 15') being designed to engage in a corresponding groove (18, 18') provided on the back of said slab (10), said vertical lateral columns (14) being equipped with means for attachment (22, 22') to said wall (12) produced in the form of slots or notches (22, 22') designed to engage in rack rails (20) or fixing shafts designed to be fixed to the wall (12).
- Device according to claim 1, characterised in that the horizontal profiles (15, 15') are designed to be introduced into said grooves (18, 18') before the profiles (15, 15') are fixed on the lateral columns (14), wherein this fixing can be carried out using any suitable means such as a mechanical system, welding, adhesion.
- Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that said folded back edges of the horizontal profiles (15, 15') are folded back by 45°.
- Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that said fixing frame or said fixing plate is produced from metal, preferably light metal, in particular from aluminium or again from synthetic material or more particularly from a reinforced plastics material.
- Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the shape of said slots or notches (22, 22') is selected as a function of the vertical, horizontal or oblique positioning plane.
