Claims (12)

  1. Positive-safety double-staple universal lock for a door, notably for a lift landing door (6), of the type formed by:
    - a casing (13) able to be fixed on a door frame (7) of the landing door (6),
    - a locking bolt (11) for the door (6) disposed so as to slide inside the casing (13) and on which acts a spring mounted in compression, which bolt (11) is able to cooperate when closed with a fixed striking pin (8) fixed to the leaf of the swinging or sliding door (6) acting on a security device (14) of the bolt (11) and able not to allow the bolt (11) to be released completely when locked, so long as the door is closed,
    - a control lever (49) for the bolt (11) connected thereto and actuated by tilting about a spindle so as to give rise to a translation of the said bolt (11) for opening or closure,
    - a manoeuvring arm (56) for the lever (49) acting directly on its spindle in a front position with respect to the casing (13) or by an angle return system in a lateral position with respect to the casing (13), which manoeuvring arm (56) is disposed on the casing (13) in such a way as to be able to be actuated in a front or lateral plane by a fixed or mobile cam (2) integral with a lift cage (1),
    - an electrical contact (37) of the bolt (11) so as to act in closure only when the latter is completely released in locking and allow the operation of the lift in this position only,
    - a pull-off electrical contact (38), a short-circuit element of which is fixed to the leaf of the door so as to permit the operation of the cam (2) of the cage (1) only if the said door is closed, characterised in that the locking bolt (11) is formed by a reversible cylinder (11A) able to slide in at least one bearing (12) of the casing (13) through which it passes, the said cylinder (11A) having a bore (11C) opening out on each side and in which there is disposed a core (11B) with respect to which the said cylinder (11A) is able to slide during a translation thereof during normal closure, the striking pin (8) then retaining the said core (11B) in its original position (A) so as to prevent the operation of a security device in the event of normal closure, while in the event of abnormal closure revealed by the non-presence of the striking pin (8) or by its incorrect positioning, the core (11B) not being retained or partially retained, it then follows the movement of the cylinder (11A) of the bolt (11) and leads to the triggering of the safety device.
  2. Lock according to Claim 1, characterised in that the safety device is formed by a reversible catch (14) pivoting about a fixed spindle (15) of the casing (13) and having in its opposite part a heel (16) bearing on an external head (17) of the core (11B) of the bolt (11) on which it acts in compression through a thrust spring (18), which catch (14) has a locking snug (19) disposed between the heel (16) and the spindle (15) and which is able to cooperate with at least one corresponding tooth (20) of the cylinder (11A) of the bolt (11) so as to retain it if the core (11B) is released, consequently leading to the release of the catch (14) and the immobilisation of the bolt (11) during its closure travel.
  3. Lock according to Claim 2, characterised in that the retaining tooth (20) of the cylinder (11A) is defined by a concentric groove (21), formed on the periphery thereof, so as to allow all angular positions about its longitudinal axis (XX').
  4. Lock according to Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the cylinder (11A) of the bolt (11) has a guide means formed by a flat formed on a generating line of the bolt (11) and able to cooperate with a corresponding flat on a removable bearing (12) of the casing, the said bearing having four perpendicular external sides making it removable in four different positions so as to allow the said bolt (11) to be oriented about its axis XX' according to four possibilities, depending on the required position of the end entry bevel (24) of the said bolt.
  5. Lock according to one of Claims 1 or 2, characterised in that the core (11B) of the bolt (11) has a blind axial housing (26) formed at the end opposite the one cooperating with the striking pin (8) and in which there is disposed a spring (27) mounted in compression between the bottom (26a) of the said housing (26) and the bottom (28a) of another blind housing (28) produced in a sealing plug (29) opposite the bearing (12) in which the bolt (11) slides, the sealing plug (29) and the bearing (12) of the bolt (11) being reversible and being mutually substitutable, depending on whether the bolt (11) is located on one side (D) or the other (G) of the casing (13).
  6. Lock according to Claim 5, characterised in that from the bottom (28a) of the blind housing (28) of the plug (29) there emerges a guide spindle (30) for the spring (27) and the core (11B) of the bolt (11).
  7. Lock according to Claim 1, characterised in that it has a reversible movable dielectric support (31) on which there are disposed symmetrically two electrical connection devices (33 and 34), the said support having at its bottom part at least one transverse groove able to permit its sliding on a corresponding rail formed on the bottom of the casing, by direct drive of the control lever (49) housed freely in a U-shaped notch in the said movable dielectric support (31), the electrical connection devices (33 and 34) being able to short-circuit on the one hand an electrical presence contact (36) in an unlocked position (A) of the bolt (11) and on the other hand the electrical contact (37) of the bolt (11) in a position of complete locking (B) of the same bolt (11).
  8. Lock according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the control lever (49) of the bolt (11) has at one of its ends a toothed sector (50) coming to connect with the concentric grooves (21) which not only provide for any retention of the bolt (11) by the catch (14) of the safety device, but also for the anchoring of the said toothed sector (50) of the control lever (49), in the manner of a rack, to provide for the linear transverse movement of the bolt (11) according to an angular movement of the said lever (49) about a rotation shaft (52) of the casing (13) and counter to a return spring (53).
  9. Lock according to Claim 8, characterised in that the control lever (49) is reversible so as to be able to provide its function whatever the direction of operation of the bolt (11) with respect to the casing (13).
  10. Lock according to one of Claims 1, 8 or 9, characterised in that the control lever (49) of the bolt (11) is connected to the external manoeuvring arm (56) formed by male prisms of triangular cross section, one of which (58a) cooperates with a corresponding housing of an element of the arm (56) and the other one of which (56b) remains free and is accessible from the outside of the casing and from the door frame so as to permit any manual unlocking of the bolt (11).
  11. Lock according to Claim 1, characterised in that the fixing of the casing (13) is provided in two positions, relative to the width of the upright of the door frame (7), by means of two rigid plates (78 and 79) fitted in corresponding housings (80 and 81) produced at the ends of the casing (13), the bottom of these housings having an oblong orifice (82 and 83) while the plates (78 and 80) are provided with a plurality of holes (84 to 87 and 88 to 91) designed for the passage of fixing screws and chosen according to the position to be conferred on the said casing (13) with respect to the upright of the door frame (7), the holes formed in the fixing plates (78 and 79) being four in number and asymmetrical two by two with respect to the transverse axis of each plate so as to obtain different positions simply by turning them about their respective axis.
  12. Lock according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that, given that the bolt (11) can be disposed to the right or left by turning; given that the casing (13) can be fixed to the upright of the door frame (7) in two positions; given that the manoeuvring arm (56) can be frontal or lateral or lateral offset from the casing; given that the pull-off contact (38) can be mounted equally well to the right or left or be omitted; given that the bolt (11) can take four angular positions about its axis (XX'); given that the control lever (49) is reversible for right-hand or left-hand bolt or top or bottom bolt and controls alternately the bolt (37) and presence (36) contacts, themselves reversible, the said lock (10) is adaptable to every circumstance encountered, from a single casing (13) enclosing elements which are also single, by means of a cover (75) which holds all the elements in position.
