Abstract

The disposable tea bag has two flat sections (1, 1') which are pressed together before use. Each section (1, 1') has a stiffening strip (10) at their upper edges (4, 4') extending from one side edge to the other edge (2). Description

Die Erfindung betrifft einen befüllbaren Teebeutel. Es ist bekannt, Teebeutel aus Vliesmaterial zu fertigen. Hierbei sind zwei Gattungen zu unterscheiden: Die vom Hersteller bereits mit Tee befüllten und verschlossenen Teebeutel zum einen und die vom Benutzer selbst befüllbaren Teebeutel zum anderen.The invention relates to a fillable tea bag. Der Nachteil bei den bekannten befüllten Teebeuteln ist vor allen Dingen, daß für die darin enthaltenen Teeblätter zu wenig Platz: vorhanden ist. Die Teeblätter können sich nicht richtig entfalten, der Extraktionsvorgang ist dadurch nicht zufriedenstellend durchführbar. Aus diesem Grunde wurden befüllbare Teebeutel vorgeschlagen, die oben offen sind und nach der Befüllung mit Tee, beispielsweise mit einer Klammer, temporär verschlossen werden. Die Klammer ihrerseits ist wiederum mit einem Kettchen verbunden, welches als Manipulierhilfe für den Teebeutel wirksam ist. Mit diesem Kettchen ist der Teebeutel an einer Kanne oder einem sonstigen Gefäß befestigbar. Nach Gebrauch wird der Vlies-Teebeutel von der Klammer entfernt und einfach in den Mülleimer bzw. eine für verrottbaren Abfall vorgesehene Mülltonne entsorgt.The disadvantage of the known filled tea bags is above all that there is not enough space for the tea leaves contained therein. Nachteilig bei diesen bekannten Teebeuteln ist, daß sie nur mit einigem Geschick zum Einfüllen von Tee zu öffnen und umständlich, nämlich mit Hilfe eines Kettchens, an der Teekanne zu befestigen sind. Die Teebeutel bestehen aus zwei flächigen Zuschnitten, die an ihren Seitenrändern- und ihrem Unterrand miteinander verbunden sind. Die Oberränder sind nicht miteinander verbunden und umgeben die Einfüllöffnung. Im Nichtgebrauchs- bzw. Ausgangszustand liegen die Oberränder flach aneinander. Zur Bildung einer Einfüllöffnung müssen die Ränder mit den Fingern gefaßt und auseinander gezogen werden. Diese Manipulation ist für viele Menschen nicht ganz einfach, da die Zuschnitte sehr dünn sind und oft nur durch Anfeuchten der Finger gefaßt werden können. Ein weiterer Nachteil der bekannten Teebeutel besteht in der zusätzlich notwendigen Manipulierhilfe in Form einer Klammer. Diese Klammer muß praktisch nach jedem Gebrauch abgespült werden, da sich sonst ein Belag daran bilden würde. Dies ist insbesondere von Nachteil, wenn ein und dieselbe Klammer zum Aufgießen unterschiedlicher Teesorten, beispielsweise aromatisierter Früchtetees und Schwarzteesorten verwendet wird. Es könnte dadurch zu einer Geschmacksbeeinträchtigung kommen, die nicht nur anspruchsvolle Teetrinker stören könnte. Wird der Teebeutel ohne Zuhilfenahme eines Kettchens einfach zwischen Kannendeckel und Kannenrand geklemmt, saugt sich der zwischen Deckel und Kanne hervorstehende Teebeutelabschnitt mit Wasser voll, wird dadurch weich und legt sich auf die Kannenaußenseite um. Nachdem die Versteifungsbereiche nicht mehr seitlich beaufschlagt werden, gehen sie in ihre Ausgangsposition zurück, d. h. sie liegen dann wieder flach aneinander und verschließen die Einfüllöffnung. Auch zur Befestigung des Teebeutels in der Teekanne ist eine Klammer bzw. ein Kettchen oder ähnliches nicht erforderlich. Der erfindungsgemäße Teebeutel wird so in die Öffnung der Teekanne eingesetzt, daß sein Versteifungsbereich über den Kannenrand herausschaut. Die Befestigung des Teebeutels erfolgt dann durch einfaches Aufsetzen des Deckels auf die Kanne. Der Versteifungsbereich verhindert, daß sich der Randbereich des Teebeutels umlegen und nach Art eines Saughebers Tee aus der Kanne nach außen saugen kann. Nach dem Extraktionsvorgang kann der Teebeutel mit den ausgelaugten Teeblättern aus der Teekanne entnommen werden, in dem er ganz einfach am Versteifungsbereich angefaßt wird. Dieser Bereich ist, da er während des Extraktionsvorganges nicht mit dem heißen Teewasser in direkter Berührung steht, relativ kühl.A clip or chain or the like is also not required for fastening the teabag in the teapot. In den Unteransprüchen sind weitere vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen eines erfindungsgemäßen Teebeutels angegeben. Nach Anspruch 2 kann der Verstärkungsbereich dadurch gebildet sein, daß die Wandstärke der Zuschnitte, in dem in Rede stehenden Bereich verdickt ist. Eine andere Möglichkeit besteht darin, einen Versteifungsstreifen an den Zuschnitten zu befestigen, wobei dieser Streifen vorzugsweise aus einem verrottbaren Material besteht. Fertigungstechnisch am einfachsten dürfte eine stoffschlüssige Verbindung des Versteifungsstreifens mit dem Zuschnitt sein. Besonders vorteilhaft ist es, wenn der Versteifungsstreifen auf der Innenseite der Zuschnitte befestigt ist. Die Zuschnitte weisen nämlich üblicherweise eine Stabilisierungsbeschichtung auf. Diese Stabilisierungsbeschichtung dient zum einen dazu, das sehr dünne Papiervlies der Teebeutel während des Extraktionsvorganges im heißen Teewasser zusammenzuhalten. Zum anderen dient diese Beschichtung zur Verbindung der Teebeutelzuschnitte an ihren Rändern. Dazu werden die beschichteten Zuschnitte einfach aufeinander gelegt und an den zu verbindenden Rändern erhitzt. Die Stabilisierungsbeschichtung besteht aus einem thermoplastischen Kunststoff, und insbesondere aus Polyäthylen. Dieser Kunststoff erweicht beim Erhitzen, wodurch die beiden Zuschnitte zusammengeschweißt werden. Man spricht hier allgemein von "Heißversiegeln". Diese Stabiliserungsschicht kann nun in vorteilhafter Weise zum Befestigen der Versteifungsstreifen herangezogen werden. Dazu muß nur der Zuschnitt im Bereich des Versteifungsstreifens erhitzt werden. Die sich dabei erweichende Stabilisierungsschicht verbindet sich mit dem Versteifungsstreifen. Beim Herausnehmen von Teebeuteln aus der Kanne wird zunächst eine gewisse Flüssigkeitsmenge durch die vollgesogenen Teeblätter festgehalten. Diese Flüssigkeit läuft bei den herkömmlichen Teebeuteln bevorzugt über die von den Seitenkanten mit der Unterkante gebildeten Ecken ab. Dabei gelangt sehr leicht die ablaufende Restflüssigkeit auf den Kannenrand oder sogar auf die Außenseite der Kanne, von wo sie abtropfen und etwa auf eine Tischfläche gelangen kann. Durch die Maßnahme des Anspruches 11 ist gewährleistet, daß die Restflüssigkeit nur in einem einzigen Flüssigkeitsfaden abläuft. Dieser kann sehr einfach kontrolliert und so manipuliert werden, daß er in die Mitte der Kannenöffnung abfließen kann. Ein erfindungsgemäßer Teebeutel ist, wie insbesondere aus Fig.2 ersichtlich ist, von zwei Zuschnitten 1,1' gebildet, die im Querschnitt etwa rechteckig sind und an ihren Seitenrändern 2 und an ihrem Unterrand 3 miteinander verbunden sind. Wenn hier von oben und unten gesprochen wird, ist dabei auf den Anwendungsfall Bezug genommen, wenn nämlich der Teebeutel an seinem oberen Ende festgehalten und etwa vertikal ausgerichtet ist. Die Oberränder 4,4' der Zuschnitte 1,1' sind nicht miteinander verbunden und liegen im Nichtgebrauchs- bzw. Ausgangszustand flach aneinander an. Die an die Oberränder 4,4' angrenzenden Bereiche der Zuschnitte sind als Versteifungsbereiche 10 ausgebildet, in dem sie mit einem Versteifungsstreifen 5,5' verstärkt bzw. versteift sind. Diese Versteifungsstreifen sind in der Aufsicht etwa rechteckig und erstrecken sich praktisch über die gesamte Breite 6 der Zuschnitte bzw. von einem zum anderen Seitenrand 2. Bei der in Fig.2 dargestellten Ausführungsform ist der Versteifungsstreifen 5,5' an der Außenseite der Zuschnitte befestigt. Der erfindungsgemäße Teebeutel kann ausgehend von dem Ausgangszustand nach Fig.1 wie folgt in den Gebrauchszustand, also in einen Zustand gebracht werden, bei dem eine Einfüllöffnung 7 gebildet ist: Die Versteifungsstreifen 5,5' werden seitlich in Richtung der Pfeile 8 zusammengedrückt, dabei verringert sich der Abstand zwischen den Seitenkanten 2 der Zuschnitte. Wird dagegen der Unterrand 3 bzw. der Boden des Teebeutels etwa wie nach Fig.6-8 ausgebildet, so fließt die Restflüssigkeit in einem einzigen Faden (Fig.12) ab. Dieser Zustand ist in Fig. 15 dargestellt. Die Planebene der Befestigungslasche 17 verläuft dabei im wesentlichen in der Planebene des Versteifungsstreifens. Bei Bedarf ist die Befestigungslasche 17 aus der Planebene des Versteifungsstreifens 5 unter Auftrennung der Perforation 21 herausklappbar.
