Description

The invention relates to a closure for a container made of a lower closure part and a screw cap, in which the lower closure part can be connected to the container opening by means of a base part and has a pouring spout, in which the screw cap with a cap bottom and an internally threaded cap jacket onto the externally threaded pouring spout - And can be unscrewed, in which the screw cap screwed onto the pouring spout is secured against unscrewing by means of snap-in connections and in which the screw cap can be released for unscrewing by removing the snap-in connection.

Such a closure is known from DE 42 09 784 A1. In this known closure, the snap connection between the screw cap and the bellows is formed. For this purpose, the end face of the cap jacket is provided all around with snap-in receptacles into which snap-in cams snap onto the bellows of the lower closure part. To release the locking connections, the bellows must be pressed together, so that the locking cams move radially deflected inside and moved out of the snap-in receptacles in the cap jacket. This deflection of the bellows requires considerable effort, especially when it is a stable closure for large containers.

It is an object of the invention to design the latching connections in a closure of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that they can be easily removed without, however, losing their function as child safety devices.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that the cap jacket of the screw cap ends in the area of the free end face in at least one latching lug, that in the transition area to the pouring spout, an annular flange is formed on the closure protruding toward the cap jacket, which partially covers the latching tab, and that the ring flange on the inside facing the locking tab is provided with locking cams which have a flat rising edge in the screwing direction, which transition into steep locking flanks and form locking connections with the locking tabs of the screw cap, which can be canceled by radially deflecting the locking tabs.

The locking tabs can be pressed inwards outside the ring flange, the locking connection with the locking cams on the inside of the ring flange being canceled. As a result, the locking tabs of the screw cap can pass the locking flanks of the locking cams, ie the screw cap can be unscrewed from the pouring spout. The locations of the locking tabs are easily recognizable, so that it is no problem for the adult to remove the child lock. The additional ring flange on the lower part of the closure no longer affects the function of the closure, as in the known closure with the locking cams on the bellows.

An advantage is an embodiment, which is characterized in that two locking tabs are arranged diametrically on the cap jacket and that each locking tab is assigned a locking cam on the closure part. By pressing the lower area of the cap casing together, both snap-in connections are released at the same time if the starting points are selected when gripping the screw cap on the snap-in tabs. The screw cap so compressed and compressed can then also be unscrewed from the pouring spout at the same time.

The attachment of the ring flange to the lower part of the closure is preferably carried out so that the pouring spout merges into the bellows via a shoulder and that the ring flange is formed on the shoulder concentrically to the pouring spout and forms an annular receptacle for the locking tabs of the screw cap.

So that the deflection of the locking tabs can be easily carried out, it is provided according to a further embodiment that the locking tabs are thin-walled and extend over part of the circumference of the cap shell and are radially easily deflected. This creates a larger attachment area for gripping the screw cap.

The invention is explained in more detail using an exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing. Show it:

The closure consists of a lower closure part 10, which comprises a base part 11, a bellows 12 and a pouring spout 15. The base part 11 can be snapped into a container opening. In Fig. 1, the bellows 12 is extended. The pouring spout 15 has an external thread onto which an internally threaded screw cap 20 can be screwed on and off. The screw cap 20 carries the internal thread on the inside of a cap jacket 21. The pouring spout 15 is closed in the delivery state by means of a sealing plate 16. The sealing plate 16 can be torn out of the pouring spout 15 by means of a grip tab 17.

The cap jacket 21 of the screw cap 20 ends on the free end face in two diametrically opposed locking tabs 22 which extend over part of the circumference of the screw cap 20, as can be seen in FIG. 2. The transition from the pouring spout 15 to the bellows 12 is designed as a shoulder 13. On the shoulder 13, a circumferential annular flange 14 is formed, which is directed towards the cap jacket 21 and forms a receiving space 26 for the locking tabs 22 of the screw cap 20 with the pouring spout 15 when it is screwed onto the pouring spout 15. The ring flange 14 carries on its inside, ie facing the locking tabs 22, locking cams 23 which have flat rising flanks 24 in the screwing-on direction. The rising edges 23 merge into steep locking edges 25, behind which the locking tabs 22 of the screw cap 20 snap into place. The ring flange 14 partially covers the locking tabs 22, so that a part of them can still be seen and thus mark the starting points for gripping the screw cap 20.

If the screw cap 20 is gripped and compressed in the area of the locking tabs 22, then the locking tabs 22 are attached to the ring flange 14 out of engagement with the locking cam 23. The screw cap 20 can then be unscrewed from the pouring spout 15.

When the screw cap 20 is screwed onto the pouring spout 15, the latching lugs 22 slide over the flat rising flanks 24 of the latching cams 23 on the ring flange 14, but when unscrewing they encounter the steep latching flanks 25 of the latching cams 23.

A single snap connection is normally sufficient as a child lock. However, the two diametrically arranged snap-in connections increase safety and make it easier for adults to remove parental controls.

In the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2, a closure with an elastically extendable bellows 12 is shown. However, it is possible to use the child lock on any lock. In particular, it is conceivable to arrange the ring flange 14 with its container itself. The ring flange 14 can also be formed directly on the lower closure part 10.
