Definitions
- the present invention relates to a blind with enveloping carcass, and more particularly to a awning whose carcass of considerable length, by example of more than 5 meters, is based on first supports, distant from its ends, adapted to the shape of this carcass that they embrace externally, in part or all, and to which are related the ends of the articulated arms under rotation tension and coupled, likewise in rotation, to their other end, at a load bar, said first supports being associated with second supports with the possibility of relative displacement with respect to them and in a desired position, in order to allow adjustment of the inclination of the carcass by rotation about a horizontal axis, said second supports being, in turn, connected to the plate corresponding wall fixing.
- a second problem relating to this type of blind lies in the difficulty of obtaining a closure perfect awning carcass by means of the bar load, in the maximum fabric winding position, because this load bar does not reach to position correctly compared to the front opening of the carcass, due to the play that occurs at the points of articulation of the arms with their supports and at the elbows of articulation, given the great length of these arms (effect which is important from lengths 2.5 m) and taking into account the movements repetitive, the weight of the arm-canvas-bar assembly load and the necessary tolerances imposed by extension and folding movements.
- European patent application EP-A-0593389 of same holder provides guidance means for the autonomous installation of the load bar with its upper face in contact with the face upper part of the carcass in the closed position, formed by skids associated with the load bar which face each other, in a position close to the closure, at the top of the sectors of articulation of the ends of the arms with the supports of levitation serving as a guide for these skates.
- these means cannot be applied in the case of blinds with arms not connected to parts carcass extremes because then since there is no has no guide at these extreme points, the load bar may not close properly or adopt a forced position, especially at these ends of the carcass.
- the invention applies to solving these problems which limit, in practice, the use of carcasses of long blinds, and at this indeed, it provides for the disposal of assigned rooms at the ends of the carcass, intended to support the ends of the axis of the winding drum and means of drive or traction assigned to one of these ends, and which, moreover, have large openings that facilitate front access to everything the whole winding drum with the canvas, when the empty carcass has been previously assembled to the supports which connect it to a wall or a ceiling.
- the invention further provides appendages in guide profile function for runners positioning assigned to the ends of the bar load, appendages which derive from a part which forms a cover which covers the ends of the carcass and is connected to the cited support parts.
- Another object of the invention lies in the forecast of a canopy supported by wall supports timely, stretching downward from the wall up to at least one point on the front of the carcass cover, closing the space between the rear part of this carcass and the wall.
- the invention further provides a section plate curve that extends along the entire front or opening of the carcass, on which the canvas rests maximum winding position, said plate being connected to the carcass and to support supports.
- said carcass is open forward, and at both ends are attached two lying "U" shaped pieces, one of which branches is longer than the other, both sides of which upper and lower have dots for attach a support plate to the ends of the drum winding and at least part of the means drive in rotation, the central opening of "U” shaped pieces being such that it allows passage frontal, through it, inside the carcass, winding drum comprising the wound canvas and at least part of the drive means in rotation, once this carcass, with the first and the second supports, was assembled to the plates of cited wall mount, and, disposed through said central opening of the U-shaped part, oriented towards inside the carcass, and in front of the area occupied by the winding drum, there is at least one appendage depending on the guiding profile for positioning assigned to the ends of the bar awning load, for perfect closing of the carcass, said appendages deriving from the wall inside of a cover that mates firmly on each end of the carcass covering the corresponding "U" shaped part.
- Figure 1 is a partial perspective view of the present store.
- Figures 2 and 3 are two section views transverse of the blind in question, before and after the carcass closing thanks to positioning load bar suitable when the canvas is completely rolled up.
- Figures 4, 5 and 6 each show a view partial in longitudinal section of the blind, omission made of canvas and also of the winding drum on the last two of these figures.
- Figure 7 is a cross section of the blind with indication of carcass wall support means covering the awning, with possibility of regulation in tilt.
- Figures 8 and 9 are two perspective views partial of said enveloping carcass with indication means applied to the closure of the front part of the carcass and the support of the canvas.
- Figure 10 is a side view of an alternative of the support of the enveloping carcass.
- Figure 11 shows in cross section a alternative execution of the enveloping carcass.
- Figure 12 shows in cross section the carcass according to FIG. 11 arranged on the support according to the figure 10.
- the recommended blind includes an enveloping carcass 10 in length considerable, supported on first supports 11, distant from its ends, adapted to the shape of said carcass which they embrace externally and to which are connected, with the possibility of rotation thanks to a ring 12 to which a fork is coupled, the ends of the articulated arms under tension (not shown), which are articulated at their other end on a load bar 30.
- Said first supports 11 are associated (see Figure 7) as proposed in the patent Ep-A-0593389 to second supports 13 with possibility relative displacement relative to them (elongated holes 71 and screws 72), providing an inclination adjustment of the carcass by rotation around a horizontal axis, and said second supports 13 are, in turn, connected to the corresponding plate 14 fixed to a wall or to a ceiling by anchor bolts 15.
- the union between the supports 13 and said wall plate 14 is obtained at using screws 16 which are screwed into plates 17 housed in a recess 18, on the rear part, near the lower side of this plate 14.
- the support 13 has on its upper part a configuration in hook 20 for its suspension from a projection 19 which ends the upper part of the plate 14.
- said carcass 10 is open in front, and at each of its two ends is fixed a coated U-shaped piece 21, one of the branches 21a is longer than the other, on the sides upper and lower of said "U” piece being fixed a plate 22 which serves as a support at the ends of the axis 37 of the winding drum 23 and at least part means for driving in rotation 24, 25, 26.
- the central opening 21b of the parts "U” has a width as it allows a frontal passage, to through it, inside the carcass 10, of the drum winding 23 with the canvas 28 fully wound and at least part of the training means in rotation cited, once said carcass 10, with the first and second supports 11, 13, has been previously attached to the wall fixing plates 14 cited.
- the cover 33 as clearly shown in the Figures 4 and 5, has a peripheral flange 34 which overlaps and covers the entire song of the corresponding part 21 in "U" shape to which said cover 33 is attached using fastening means conventional.
- a plate 22 which has a central orifice 35, designed to accommodate a ring 36 which is inserted a end of axis 37 of winding drum 23, plate to which is fixed, at the other end, a device manual actuation 26, driven by bar 26a, like the shows figure 6, or the block of a regulated motor 25 manually by the bar 38, shown in FIG. 5, whose tubular body extends towards the interior of the winding drum 23.
- said plate 22 attached to the upper branches and lower part of the part "U” cited, is attached to it with intercalation of separators 39, through which pass screws 40, a second plate 41 provided an orifice of polygonal section 42 having been fixed to said first plate 22, the axis 43 of a tubular motor 24 which extends inside the drum 23 being coupled in said orifice 42.
- the awning conforms to the invention also provides wall supports 44, placed between the plates 14 for supporting the carcass 10, to support a canopy 45 which extends in inclination down from wall 46 to at least one point of the front part of the carcass cover 10.
- Said supports 44 of the canopy 45 include a wall mounting branch 44a, a door branch 44b overhang and a vertical sector 44c finished in fork with at at least one of its branches flexible and with teeth inner, quadrangular profile, and face basement of the awning leave two appendages 49a, 49b, the first of them short and the second longer, with a pointed tooth profile, capable of being inserted more or less deep within said fork 44c support, by correctly positioning the canopy 45 by relative to the carcass 10.
- the short appendage 49a is exterior compared to 44c fork configuration cited, resting on it. On the extreme edges of this awning are defined longitudinal grooves open where flexible seals are housed 47, 48, of curve-convex profile, placed so that they favor the dripping of rainwater.
- each of the supports 50 for the arms of the blind is connected to the body of the carcass 10 by a heel 51 which fits into a groove 61 close to its lower edge and which attaches to the first support 11, corresponding, adjustable in rotation by a screw 52 which crosses the wall of the carcass 10.
- Said support 50 for the fork of articulation of the arm has on its internal face a curve-concave profile on which a curved plate rests 53 of width equivalent to that of said support 51, provided side walls 54 which adapt it by fitting it, embracing the support 50, leaning against its face posterior.
- the plate 53 also has an earpiece 55 for fixing placed above the vertical passage 62 of the ring 12 for the articulated coupling of the arms.
- FIG. 7 shows means allowing the assembly of two enveloping carcass portions 10a, as well as pairs of corresponding profiles which form the load bar 30a, and a canopy 70 of the blind frame, to build sets of great length.
- These means consist of turntables 66, 67, 68 with a threaded hole which are introduced into corresponding longitudinal sectional housings in "C", configured in the wall of said carcass 10a, by its extreme portion to be linked, as well as in said profiles 30a, and 70 to connect the two portions so as to bring them into contact.
