Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Behandlung von Garn gemäss dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1 sowie eine Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens.The invention relates to a method for treating yarn according to the preamble of claim 1 and an apparatus for performing the method.
Es ist schon seit langem bekannt, die Haarigkeit von Garnen, die bei bestimmten Anwendungen störend ist, indem sie z. B. eine gewisse Flauschigkeit des Gewebes bewirkt, durch Sengen zu reduzieren und dadurch vor allem für die Herstellung glatter, glänzender Gewebe geeignete Garne herzustellen. Das Sengen wird auf eigens dafür vorgesehenen Sengmaschinen ausgeführt, auf welchen das Garn von einer Vorlagespule auf eine Aufwickelspule umgespult und dabei durch einen Garnsengbrenner gezogen wird. Derartige Sengmaschinen sind z. B. in DE-C-3 031 797 und in Dipl.-Ing. J. B. von Trockenparaffin, zu beeinflussen, vor allem, ihn im Hinblick auf eine Verwendung derselben in Wirk- oder Strickmaschinen herabzusetzen. Wegen der Hitzeempfindlichkeit des Wachses war man immer davon ausgegangen, dass ein Sengen von bereits gewachstem Garn zum Abdampfen oder zu untragbaren chemischen Veränderungen des Wachses führen müsse, auch Zerstörung oder mindestens Beschädigung des Garns bewirken dürfte, weshalb das Garn unbedingt zuerst gesengt und dann gewachst werden müsse. Da Garn beim Sengen zu heiss wird, als dass es in einem einzigen Umspulvorgang nacheinander gesengt und gewachst werden könnte, sind bei dieser Reihenfolge stets zwei Umspulvorgänge erforderlich, was natürlich hohen Zeit- und auch apparativen Aufwand für die kombinierte Behandlung bedeutet.For certain applications, yarns have to be scorched as well as prepared by applying wax. Die Vorrichtung weist am Fuss eines Gehäuses 1 eine Vorlagespule 2 auf und oben eine Auflaufspule 3, welche von einer Nutentrommel 4, die gleichzeitig als Fadenverlegevorrichtung dient, angetrieben wird. Oberhalb der Vorlagespule 2 ist ein Paraffineur 5 bekannter Bauart, bei welchem das Garn über die Stirnfläche eines rotierenden Zylinders aus Trockenparaffin gezogen wird, angeordnet, darüber ein Garnsengbrenner 6, vorzugsweise ein Gasbrenner ebenfalls bekannter Ausführung. Statt des Paraffineurs 5 könnte auch eine bekannte Aufbringvorrichtung für Heiss- oder Kaltwachs eingesetzt werden. Zwischen dem Garnsengbrenner 6 und der Nutentrommel 4 ist ein Fadenwächter 7 zur Feststellung von Fadenbrüchen angebracht. Zur Regelung der Fadenspannung und damit des Paraffinauftrags am Paraffineur 5 sowie der Dichte der Auflaufspule 3 ist vor und hinter dem Paraffineur 5 je eine Fadenbremse 9a bzw. 9b angeordnet. Schliesslich ist die Vorrichtung mit einer oberhalb des Garnsengbrenners 6 angebrachten Absaugeinrichtung versehen (nicht dargestellt), die beim Sengen entstandene Verunreinigungen vom Garn absaugt.The device has at the foot of a housing 1 a
