Definitions
- the invention relates to a container with a rectangular bottom, from which two transverse walls and two longitudinal walls extend upwards and form an enlarged rectangular opening, with at least one bearing surface which extends essentially horizontally along the region of the upper edge of one of the opposite transverse walls extends outside, with at least one elongated stacking bracket, which has at its ends transverse to its longitudinal bearing cheeks with trunnions, which are pivoted in bulges on the opposite longitudinal walls in bearing blocks so that the stacking bracket from a nest position, in which it in the area of Cross walls rests on the support surface and the opening opens, can be pivoted into a stacking position, in which he delimits the opening and rests with his bearing cheeks on a contact device in the bulge, the stacking bracket opening up a stacking surface and a stop surface eist, which are arranged substantially perpendicular to each other so that the stacking surface extends substantially horizontally in the stacking position, while the stop surface on the side of the stacking surface facing the corresponding transverse wall extend
- Such a container is known from EP 0 293 687 B1.
- This container has two stacking brackets which can be pivoted from a nest position by 180 to a stacking position. In the nest position, the stacking brackets open the opening of the container so that several identical containers can be stacked one inside the other to save space. In the stacking position, the opening of the container is limited, so that a container whose bottom surface is longer than the distance between the facing end faces of the stacking brackets and shorter than the distance between the stop surfaces can be placed securely on the stacking surfaces of the stacking brackets.
- the stacking surface of the stacking brackets is in the stacking position below the top of the container, so that the bottom of an attached container lies below the top of the container and thus reduces the volume of the container.
- the invention has for its object to develop the generic container with structurally simple means so that the entire volume of the container can be used for storing goods, even if several containers are stacked one above the other.
- the stop surface extends substantially horizontally in the nesting position, while the stacking surface extends substantially vertically upwards on the side of the stop surface facing away from the corresponding transverse wall, and in that the bearing blocks each extend essentially vertically
- the inventive arrangement of the stop surface and the stacking surface of the stacking bracket and the inventive arrangement of the bearing pins in the slot openings make it possible for the stacking surface in the stacking position of the stacking bracket to be flush with the top of the container or higher than this. For this reason, the entire volume of the container can be used to store goods.
- the stacking brackets it is possible to use the stacking brackets as stackable brackets, since the stacking brackets can be lifted out of their stacking position into a carrying position in which the bearing pins abut the upper end of the slot opening. Since it is possible to reach around the stacking bracket, even heavily loaded containers can be safely lifted.
- the stacking surface is preferably flush with the top of the container in the stacking position.
- the bearing pin passes through the slot opening and a radially outwardly extending locking device is provided at the free end of each bearing pin.
- the locking device is formed by an elongate plate extending radially perpendicular to the axis of the bearing pins, the length of which is less than the length of the slot opening and greater than the width of the slot opening and whose width is less than that Width of the slot opening is.
- the stacking bracket can be in the nest position and in do not release the stack position.
- the angle between the longitudinal axis of the slot opening and the longitudinal axis of the plate is preferably approximately 450 in the nest position and in the stacking position. This also ensures that the bearing pins of the stacking bracket cannot disengage from the slot opening when the stacking brackets are used as a carrying handle .
- the bearing device is expediently designed such that the bearing cheek in the sta position on the underside and on the side facing away from the corresponding transverse wall on the contact device. This ensures that there is a positive connection between the stacking bracket and the container in the stacking position.
- the bulges are delimited towards the outside by the longitudinal collar walls of a stiffening collar and the distance between the longitudinal collar walls of the stiffening collar in the region of the opposite bulges corresponds to the length of the stacking bracket stored in the bulges.
- the inner wall of the container serves as a support for the stacking bracket in this embodiment, so that the stacking bracket does not bend as much when stacking heavily loaded containers.
- the outer wall of the container can be supported on the outer edge of the stacking bracket, which thus acts as a pressure rod.
- an upwardly open opening is provided between at least one bearing block and the corresponding longitudinal wall of the collar and an extension is arranged on the corresponding end face of the stacking bracket, which extends essentially in the same direction as that appropriate bearing cheek and in the stacking position engages in the opening.
- the length of the extension is such that it is located outside the opening and the stacking bracket can be pivoted into the nest position when the stacking bracket is raised upwards from the stacking position so that the pin strikes the upper end of the slot opening.
- the container 10 shown in Fig. 1 is made of plastic, for example by injection molding. It has an essentially flat rectangular base 11 (FIG. 5), from which two opposite longitudinal walls 12 and two opposite transverse walls 14 extend upwards. The longitudinal walls 12 and the transverse walls 14 are slightly inclined outwards and therefore delimit a rectangular opening 15 at the top of the container 10, which opening is larger than the bottom 11 of the container.
- the upper edge of the container 10 is surrounded by a stiffening collar 16 with essentially vertical collar longitudinal walls 17 and collar transverse walls 19.
- the collar longitudinal walls 17 and collar transverse walls 19 are arranged at a distance from the longitudinal walls 12 and the transverse walls 14 and are integrally connected to them.
- the upper edges of the longitudinal walls 12 and the collar longitudinal walls 17 are at one level.
- the upper edge 21 of the transverse walls 14 is arranged below the upper edge of the collar transverse walls 19.
- the upper edge of the transverse wall 14 is connected to the transverse collar wall 19 arranged parallel to the transverse wall 14 via a horizontal web 22 forming a support surface 20.
- the upper edges of the longitudinal walls 12 and the collar side walls 17 parallel thereto are connected by a horizontal transverse web 23 over most of the length of the longitudinal walls.
- the longitudinal wall 12 is recessed in the corner region of the container 10. As can be seen in FIG. 4, the edge of the recess 24 in the upper region runs perpendicular to the upper edge of the longitudinal wall 12 and then runs obliquely downwards towards the transverse wall 14. Below the plane of the support surface 20, the edge of the recess 24 is essentially semicircular. At the end of the semicircle, the edge of the cutout 24 runs horizontally at the level of the support surface 20 up to the support surface 20.
- the edge of the recess 24 is connected to the longitudinal wall 17 of the collar via a connecting surface 26 which extends essentially at right angles to the longitudinal wall 12 and which merges with the support surface 20 at the horizontal section of the recess 24.
- a connecting surface 26 which extends essentially at right angles to the longitudinal wall 12 and which merges with the support surface 20 at the horizontal section of the recess 24.
- a lateral bulge 25 is formed in the corner region of the container 10, which is delimited on the outside by the longitudinal wall 17 of the collar. Such a bulge 25 is located in each corner area of the container 10.
- a plate-shaped bearing block 30 is arranged parallel to the longitudinal wall 17 of the collar.
- a vertical slot opening 32 is provided in the bearing block 30, which is bounded at the bottom by the semicircular section of the recess 24.
- the upper end of the elongated hole opening 32 is located above the level of the bearing surface 20.
- the bearing block 30 is connected to the longitudinal wall 17 of the collar via a stiffening web 34 running at right angles to it, which is arranged adjacent to the elongated hole opening 32 between the elongated hole opening 32 and the transverse wall 19 of the collar.
- the upper edge of the stiffening web 34 is flush with the horizontal upper edge of the bearing block 30.
- Fig. 3 an elongated stacking bracket 18 is shown, which is pivotally mounted parallel to the transverse walls 14 in the bulges 25. So there are two stacking brackets 18 attached to the container 10.
- the two stack ends 18 are each pivotably mounted in a bearing block 30.
- the stacking bracket 18 consists of a bar 36, the length of which essentially corresponds to the distance between the longitudinal walls 17 of the collar in the region of the bulge 25.
- a bearing cheek 38 is arranged perpendicular to the bar 36.
- the two bearing cheeks 38 extend parallel in the same direction.
- a respective bearing pin 40 extends outward, on the free end of which a bearing plate 42 is attached which extends radially to the bearing pin 40.
- the pivot axis of the stacking bracket 18 is formed by the bearing pin 40.
- the end faces of the strip 36 merge into an extension 39 which extends in the same direction as the bearing cheek 38, but which is considerably shorter than the bearing cheek 38. In this way, a groove 41 (FIG. 8) becomes between the elongated cheek 38 and the approach 39 formed.
- the end face of the strip 36, the outer surface of the extension 39 and the outer surface of the corresponding bearing plate 42 lie essentially in one plane.
- the width of the plates 42 corresponds to the diameter of the journal 40, so that the plates 42 do not protrude laterally beyond the journal 40.
- the width of the plate 42 is also slightly less than the width of the elongated hole 32.
- the length of the plate 42 is less than the length of the elongated hole 32 and greater than the width of the elongated hole 32.
- the plate 42 is at its ends the ends of the elongated hole opening 32nd rounded accordingly.
- the stacking bracket 18 is shown in its nesting position. In this position, the bottom wall 46 of the bar 36 of the stacking bracket 18 is arranged vertically flush with the transverse wall 14.
- an essentially rectangular recess 50 (FIG. 7) is formed in the stacking bracket 18, which in the nest position shown in FIG. 4 passes downward through a horizontal stop surface 52 and on the side facing the bearing cheeks 38 a stacking surface 54 is limited.
- the depression 50 is open in FIG. 4 upwards and on the side facing away from the bearing cheeks 30.
- Fig. 7 shows that the recess 50 is limited laterally in the vicinity of the bearing blocks 30 by transverse stops 56.
- the stacking bracket 18 is dimensioned such that it is located in the nest position below the top of the container 10 formed by the collar walls 17, 19.
- the plate 42 is arranged so that, viewed in the direction of the pivot axis of the stacking bracket 18, the longitudinal axis of the plate 42 in the nest position is at an angle of approximately 45 to the longitudinal axis of the slot opening 32, with the radially outwardly extending end of the plate 42 shows obliquely downwards in the direction facing away from the transverse wall 14. This prevents the stack bracket 18 from accidentally coming loose.
- the bearing pin 40 lies in the nest position at the upper end of the slot opening 32.
- FIG. 6 to 8 show the stacking bracket 18 in its stacking position, which is achieved by pivoting the stacking bracket 18 by 90 from the nest position.
- the bearing cheek 38 is complementary to the recess 24, so that it has with its side edge on the side facing away from the transverse wall 14 and with its free end on the connecting surface 26 between the edge of the recess 24 and the longitudinal wall of the collar 17 rests.
- the end face 28 of the stacking bracket 18 facing away from the transverse wall 14 abuts the upper vertical section of the connecting surface 26.
- the attachment 39 engages in the stack position in the opening 35 between the stiffening web 34 and the upper section of the connecting surface 26.
- the bearing block 30 is therefore partially in the groove 41 with its upper section.
- the depth of the groove 41 is selected so that the groove base rests on the upper edge of the bearing block 30 in the stacking position.
- the stacking bracket 18 is dimensioned such that the stacking surface 54 is flush with the top of the container 10 in the stacking position.
- the longitudinal axis of the plate 42 also extends in the stacking position at an angle a of approximately 45 to the longitudinal axis of the slot opening 32, wherein in the stacking position the end of the plate 42 which extends further outwards points obliquely downwards in the direction of the transverse wall 14.
- Fig. 6 it can also be seen that the bearing pin 40 is in the stacking position in the lower region of the slot opening 32.
- This makes it possible to increase the distance between the bar 36 of the stacking bracket 18 and the edge between the transverse wall 14 and the support surface 20, so that it is possible to grip around the stacking bracket 18 by hand.
- the stacking bracket 18 can thus be used as a handle with which the container 10 can also be carried when the container 10 is loaded with heavy goods.
- the length of the extension 39 is selected such that the free end of the extension 39 in the carrying position shown in FIG. 9 is disengaged from the opening 35 above the stiffening web 34 when the pin 40 strikes the upper end of the elongated hole opening 32 .
- the longitudinal axis of the plate 42 as seen in the direction of the pivot axis of the stacking bracket 18, coincides with the longitudinal axis of the slot opening 32. In this assembly position, it is possible to pull the bearing pins 40 with the plates 42 out of the elongated hole openings 32 to remove the stacking bracket 18.
- the distance between the two stacking brackets 18 arranged parallel to the opposite transverse walls 14 is selected such that the distance between the end faces 28 of the stacking brackets 18 facing one another in the stacking position is smaller and the distance between the abutment surfaces 52 of the stacking brackets 18 is greater than the length of the bottom of one the stacking surface 54 of the container to be placed, which preferably corresponds to the container 10 according to the invention.
- the length of the recess 50 is selected so that it is slightly longer than the width of the container 10 to be placed.
- the transverse walls are shorter than the longitudinal walls 12.
- the transverse walls can also have the same length or be longer than the longitudinal walls 12.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a container with a rectangular bottom, from which two transverse walls and two longitudinal walls extend upwards and form an enlarged rectangular opening, with at least one bearing surface which extends essentially horizontally along the region of the upper edge of one of the opposite transverse walls extends outside, with at least one elongated stacking bracket, which has at its ends transverse to its longitudinal bearing cheeks with trunnions, which are pivoted in bulges on the opposite longitudinal walls in bearing blocks so that the stacking bracket from a nest position, in which it in the area of Cross walls rests on the support surface and the opening opens, can be pivoted into a stacking position, in which he delimits the opening and rests with his bearing cheeks on a contact device in the bulge, the stacking bracket opening up a stacking surface and a stop surface eist, which are arranged substantially perpendicular to each other so that the stacking surface extends substantially horizontally in the stacking position, while the stop surface on the side of the stacking surface facing the corresponding transverse wall extends substantially vertically upwards.
Such a container is known from EP 0 293 687 B1. This container has two stacking brackets which can be pivoted from a nest position by 180 to a stacking position.
In the known containers, the stacking surface of the stacking brackets is in the stacking position below the top of the container, so that the bottom of an attached container lies below the top of the container and thus reduces the volume of the container.
The invention has for its object to develop the generic container with structurally simple means so that the entire volume of the container can be used for storing goods, even if several containers are stacked one above the other.
This object is achieved in that the stop surface extends substantially horizontally in the nesting position, while the stacking surface extends substantially vertically upwards on the side of the stop surface facing away from the corresponding transverse wall, and in that the bearing blocks each extend essentially vertically Have elongated hole opening in which the bearing pins are each mounted so that it is arranged in the nest position in the upper region of the elongated hole opening and in the stacking position in the lower region of the elongated hole opening.
The inventive arrangement of the stop surface and the stacking surface of the stacking bracket and the inventive arrangement of the bearing pins in the slot openings make it possible for the stacking surface in the stacking position of the stacking bracket to be flush with the top of the container or higher than this. For this reason, the entire volume of the container can be used to store goods. In addition, it is possible to use the stacking brackets as stackable brackets, since the stacking brackets can be lifted out of their stacking position into a carrying position in which the bearing pins abut the upper end of the slot opening. Since it is possible to reach around the stacking bracket, even heavily loaded containers can be safely lifted.
The stacking surface is preferably flush with the top of the container in the stacking position.
In order to prevent inadvertent loosening of the stacking bracket, the bearing pin passes through the slot opening and a radially outwardly extending locking device is provided at the free end of each bearing pin.
A simple and quick assembly of the stacking bracket is possible if the locking device is formed by an elongate plate extending radially perpendicular to the axis of the bearing pins, the length of which is less than the length of the slot opening and greater than the width of the slot opening and whose width is less than that Width of the slot opening is.
If, viewed in the direction of the pivot axis of the stacking bracket, the longitudinal axis of the plate in the nest position and in the stacking position is at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the slot opening and in an assembly position of the stacking bracket corresponds to the longitudinal axis of the slot opening, the stacking bracket can be in the nest position and in do not release the stack position.
The angle between the longitudinal axis of the slot opening and the longitudinal axis of the plate is preferably approximately 450 in the nest position and in the stacking position. This also ensures that the bearing pins of the stacking bracket cannot disengage from the slot opening when the stacking brackets are used as a carrying handle .
The bearing device is expediently designed such that the bearing cheek in the sta position on the underside and on the side facing away from the corresponding transverse wall on the contact device. This ensures that there is a positive connection between the stacking bracket and the container in the stacking position.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the bulges are delimited towards the outside by the longitudinal collar walls of a stiffening collar and the distance between the longitudinal collar walls of the stiffening collar in the region of the opposite bulges corresponds to the length of the stacking bracket stored in the bulges. The inner wall of the container serves as a support for the stacking bracket in this embodiment, so that the stacking bracket does not bend as much when stacking heavily loaded containers. At the same time, the outer wall of the container can be supported on the outer edge of the stacking bracket, which thus acts as a pressure rod.
For an interlocking connection of the container and the stacking bracket in the stacking position, an upwardly open opening is provided between at least one bearing block and the corresponding longitudinal wall of the collar and an extension is arranged on the corresponding end face of the stacking bracket, which extends essentially in the same direction as that appropriate bearing cheek and in the stacking position engages in the opening.
The length of the extension is such that it is located outside the opening and the stacking bracket can be pivoted into the nest position when the stacking bracket is raised upwards from the stacking position so that the pin strikes the upper end of the slot opening.

Eine solche Ausbuchtung 25 befindet sich in jedem Eckbereich des Behälters 10.The edge of the
In Fig. 3 an elongated stacking
As shown in FIGS. 4 to 9, the two stack ends 18 are each pivotably mounted in a
The stacking
The end faces of the
The width of the
The stacking
As can be seen in FIG. 8, the
The stacking
In Fig. 6 it can also be seen that the bearing
The length of the
The distance between the two stacking
In the exemplary embodiment described, the transverse walls are shorter than the
