Description

The invention relates to a transport and storage box made of plastic, consisting of a bottom and four side walls, which is provided on its upper and / or lower belt with means for a non-slip stacking.

Transport boxes of this type have become known in large numbers, they are used for the transport and storage of a wide variety of goods. Most of the four side walls have the same height, but boxes have also become known in which one of the side walls has a lower height or a large cutout, so that goods can be removed from lower boxes standing in a stack without the stacked ones above them Boxes can only be removed from the stack. However, such transport boxes cannot be used where very high-quality goods are to be stored as dust-free as possible.

This problem is also recognized in technology. Boxes with a half-height front wall according to GB-A-2 047 207 and 2 118 529 therefore have two projections on the side walls, into which plates can be inserted from above to close the upper part of the front wall. The insertion of these panels must be done by hand and requires some skill when boxes are stacked on top of each other. It can happen, however, that the lower edge of the inserted plate sits on the goods underneath it, so that the insertion of the plate is hindered or even impossible.

The invention avoids the disadvantages of the prior art. It is the object of the invention to provide a transport and storage box in which high-quality goods can be stored in a protected manner and can also be removed from boxes in the stack by robots.

The invention is that in a transport box of the type mentioned, a front wall is double-walled in its lower region, open in its upper region and closable by a sliding wall piece, that this front wall has two lateral guide rails for the sliding wall part, which are extend into the intermediate space of the double wall, that the displaceable wall part has at least one nose, which engages as a limit stop behind an angled part of the double wall and that the displaceable wall part carries at least one resiliently arranged cam which engages in at least one latching recess.

Such a transport and storage box, if it is in a stack, can be unloaded through the open part of the front wall, but the goods stored in the box are protected against dust and other external influences by the sliding wall piece during storage. Such a transport box can be pulled by robots from a shelf, opened, unloaded, packed and closed again and also put back on its shelf, each of these activities can be carried out individually or together by hand. However, the box can also be opened, loaded and / or unloaded and closed again on the shelf.

It is expedient if the outer part of the double wall carries a bar which is open at the bottom and into which a gripper of the robot engages for the opening process of the displaceable wall piece and for loading and unloading.

So that the gripper of the robot can center the transport and storage box for the work processes, it is expedient if ribs with oblique end faces are arranged in the cavity of the bar which is open at the bottom and which center the box relative to the gripper of the robot.

It is advantageous if a label holder and / or a machine-readable plate are arranged on the outside of the bar and / or on the outer part of the double wall, by means of which the robot for machine unloading and loading as well as a person is enabled, determine which box with the same goods.

In order to be able to manufacture the movable wall part in one piece together with cams and lugs, it is expedient if slots are arranged in the movable wall part, through which resilient tongues are formed from parts of the movable wall part, which carry cams and / or lugs.

For easy mechanical and manual opening of the front wall by shifting the sliding wall part, it is expedient if the transport box is provided with a stacking rib running around the floor and with a stacking edge arranged on the top edge of the side walls and comprising the stacking rib, and if the sliding wall part is provided on its top edge bends an angle that is shaped according to the stack edge. Then the arm of the robot can attack this bend both for the opening process and for the closing process.

If the transport box is to be stacked by robots or placed on a shelf, it is expedient if the part of the floor which lies opposite the side wall with the movable floor and the stacking rib surrounding it is designed to be slightly oblique with respect to the other floor parts.

  • 1 is a side view of the transport and storage box, cut in the front area,
  • 2 is an end view of the transport and storage box, partially in section,
  • 3 is a top view of the transport and storage box, partly in section,

  • 6 shows a section through the front wall of the transport and storage box with the displaceable wall piece in the closed position,
  • FIG. 7 shows a section corresponding to FIG. 6 with the displaceable wall part located in the open position.

The transport and storage box consists of a bottom 1, two side walls 2, the rear wall 3 and the front wall 4, which, however, only extends over the lower region of the front of the box and is double-walled here, namely by an outer wall 4A and an inner wall 4B. These two wall parts 4A, 4B of the front wall 4 are only connected to one another on both sides, the space 5 between the outer front wall 4A and the inner front wall 4B is open at the top, it has the gap 6 through which the displaceable wall part 7 runs, and it is open at the bottom, so that the one-piece transport and storage box can be removed from the mold after the manufacturing process. Guide rails 8, in which the displaceable wall part 7 runs, are arranged on both sides of the intermediate space 5 and the gap 6.

This displaceable wall part 7 has at its lower end a stop 9 serving as a stop and is shaped at its upper end just like the stacking edge 10 of the transport box, namely by two bends 11, 12 so that the upper edge is offset parallel to the main surface of the displaceable wall part 7 is arranged. At the bend point 12, the edge in the form of a nose 13 is pulled somewhat downward, so that a handle recess 14 is formed here on the displaceable wall part 7.

So that the displaceable wall part 7 remains in its closed position when it is pushed up into it, a recess 16 is provided in the bottom 15 of each guide rail 8, into which a cam 17 fastened to the displaceable wall part 7 engages. This cam 17 is attached to a tongue 18 which is formed in that a slot 19 is provided in the displaceable wall part 7. The sliding wall part can thus be produced in one piece with the tongue 18 and the cam 17. The lug 9, which serves as a stop, is also integrally formed on the displaceable wall part 7 and tapers in a wedge-shaped manner and has a straight surface extending perpendicularly to the wall surface of the displaceable wall part 7.

In the bottom 15 of the guide rail 8, further locking recesses 20 can also be provided if it is desired that the displaceable wall part 7 should snap into intermediate positions on its way between the fully open and fully closed position of the front wall.

In front of the outer wall 4A of the front wall 4 there is a strip 21 which is expediently connected on both sides and at the top to vertical strips located on the front wall. Between this bar 21 and the outer front wall 4A there is a cavity 23 into which the gripper of the robot engages. So that the latter centers the box relative to the arms of the robot when it engages, the bar 21 is arranged obliquely so that the cavity 23 tapers towards the top. For lateral centering 23 ribs 24 are arranged in the interior of the cavity, the end face of which runs obliquely. There is a label holder 25 on the outside of the strip 21. A machine-readable plate 26 is located on the front wall 4A, preferably in the form of a reflector field.

At the rear corners there are guide cams 27 which are used for guiding during transport on conveyor belts. The rear part 1A of the bottom 1 runs slightly obliquely upwards.

In some cases, it can be useful if a bar open at the bottom is also arranged on the rear wall so that robots can also operate the transport and storage box from the other side of the shelf. However, this embodiment also has the advantage that the front and back of the box no longer need to be sorted into processes.

It is advantageous if ribs with inclined end faces are arranged in the cavity of the strip which is open at the bottom. It is also advantageous if a label holder and / or a machine-readable plate is arranged on the outside of the bar and / or on the outer part of the double wall.
