Description

The invention relates to a gutter system for a building, comprising at least one gutter, which has an outer bead on its edge opposite the building, and a holder which has a retaining bracket under the gutter and a fastening rail which can be fastened to the building, the retaining bracket pointing towards the gutter Has projection, which rests on the edge of the gutter facing the building, the bracket has an approximately T-shaped cross section, the web-shaped portion of which is flatter at the free end of the bracket than at the end of the building, the bracket having a section with an approximately rectangular has the first contact surface extending to the longitudinal axis of the gutter, the fastening rail consisting of flat material, the surface of which runs parallel to the longitudinal axis of the gutter, the end section of the fastening rail facing the holding bracket being angled toward the holding bracket is, a second contact surface running parallel to the first contact surface of the mounting bracket is provided on the mounting rail, and the mounting bracket is connected to the mounting rail in a directly adjustable manner.

A gutter is laid with a slope of 2 to 5 mm / m. The slope must be observed exactly along the entire length of the gutter, so that no water can accumulate. In order to facilitate the installation, gutter brackets were created that are adjustable in height. The fastening rail of a gutter bracket is usually attached to a rafter, to an eaves plank or to an eaves slat. In order to be able to adapt the gutter bracket to the respective slope of the roof, an articulated connection is arranged between the fastening rail and the bracket.

From British Patent Specification 127 529 a gutter bracket of the type mentioned is known, in which an elongated hole is provided in a downward-pointing section of the bracket. An elongated hole is also provided on the fastening rail, the longitudinal axis of which is arranged pointing horizontally or obliquely downwards. The fastening rail and the holding bracket are connected to one another by means of a clamping screw passing through the elongated holes. Depending on whether the fastening rail is to be anchored in the masonry or fastened to a rafters, different fastening rails are to be used. The fastening rails are made of flat material, the surface of the flat material runs at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the gutters, so that the fastening to a rafters takes place laterally.

A gutter holder is known from French patent specification 1 384 059, in which the fastening rail takes place laterally on a rafter. Two elongated holes for height adjustment are provided in the mounting rail and two elongated holes with a horizontal longitudinal axis are provided on the bracket. Instead of a fastening rail, a component which encompasses the end of a rafter in a cap-like manner and which enables an angle adjustment in a small area can be used. In this case, at least three screw connections must be made.

A gutter bracket is known from US Pat. No. 1,577,163, in which a retaining bracket, which is also provided with a plurality of holes which are arranged vertically one above the other, is screwed at several specific height positions to a fastening rail of U-shaped cross section to be mounted vertically on a wall with a plurality of holes arranged vertically one above the other can be. A finely adjustable height adjustment and an angle adjustment is not possible with this arrangement.

No. 2,256,843 describes a generic gutter system which has a gutter with an outer bead on its edge opposite the building and a holder with a retaining bracket under the gutter and a fastening rail which can be fastened to the building. The bracket and the mounting rail are provided at their mutually facing ends with a plurality of holes arranged in a vertical line, into which two connecting pins can be inserted, so that the mounting bracket and the mounting rail are connected to one another in a height-adjustable manner. In order to secure a gutter inserted into the retaining bracket against lifting out of the retaining bracket, the retaining bracket has at its end facing the building a projection which points obliquely downward towards the roof gutter and which lies on the edge of the roof gutter facing the building. At the free end of the bracket, which ends below the outer bead of the gutter, an outward-pointing hook is arranged, in which a tension lock is hooked around the outer bead of the gutter.

The invention has for its object to provide a gutter system of the type mentioned that secures the gutter without additional components against lifting from the bracket, which has a holder with a mounting rail, both on the top of the eaves-side components of a roof and a vertical wall can be mounted, which, in addition to the stepless adjustment of the bracket in a vertical plane, enables subsequent adjustment of the attached gutter to the slope of the roof and which gives an aesthetically pleasing overall impression.

According to the invention, this object is achieved by the characterizing part of claim 1.

When mounting the gutter system according to the invention, the elongated hole that enables vertical adjustment is not visible from the front of the gutter as a result of the arrangement at the end of the mounting bracket on the building side, so that the height-adjustable holder is not noticeable. The gutter lies on the flange-shaped section of the bracket with a T-shaped cross-section. The bracket is adapted on its top to the outer contour of the gutter. The bracket can be die-cast from an aluminum alloy.

A retaining bracket provided for a semicircular gutter can have an approximately crescent-like shape in the side view, the center of a semicircle describing the edge of the web-shaped section being offset from the center of the semicircle of the flange-shaped section adapted to the contour of the gutter in the direction of the building.

As a result of the lateral arrangement of the elongated hole on the holding bracket and the angling of the fastening rail, it can be pivoted in a large angular range and its position can not only be adapted to different roof inclinations, but can also be attached vertically, for example, to the wall of a building. The fastening rail can be formed from a flat profile. Mounting the mounting rail For example, on the top of a batten on the eaves and on a rafters underneath, it is possible without the aid of a bending tool if the fastening rail has openings arranged next to one another approximately in the middle and near the end facing away from the angled section, which form predetermined bending regions running in the transverse direction. The openings can be provided, for example, with lateral cutouts, an elongated hole in the transverse direction or two openings arranged next to one another in the fastening rail. The fastening rail can also have bending areas with a reduced bending strength due to a change in the structure of the material. A change in the structure of the material can be achieved, for example, by local soft annealing.

The clamping device can be designed, for example, as a quick-action clamping device or as a screw connection with an axis running parallel to the longitudinal axis of the gutter. The screw connection is preferably designed as a threaded bolt fastened to the fastening rail or in a square bolt mounted with a nut placed on the opposite side. The nut can be tightened with just one tool, so that the bracket and mounting rail are firmly connected. A washer located under the nut prevents the bracket from turning.

A wandering of the gutter in the longitudinal direction is prevented if a mandrel protruding from the surface of the retaining bracket lying against the gutter and penetrating into the wall of the gutter preferably in the region of the inner bead is provided. This mandrel can be arranged on the projection.

In the drawing, a preferred embodiment of the invention is shown, which is explained in more detail below.

The mounting rail 14 shown in FIG. 2 alone is made of flat material. The end section 32 facing the bracket 18 is angled toward the bracket 18 at a right angle. In addition, the end portion 32 is rotated perpendicular to the plane of the sheet, so that it forms a second contact surface 34 running parallel to the first contact surface 28. The fastening rail 14 has a plurality of holes 35 for fastening means such as nails or screws. Approximately in the middle and near the end of the fastening rail 14 facing away from the angled section 32, two predetermined bending regions 37 are provided which run in the transverse direction and are each formed by two openings arranged next to one another. The holding bracket 18 can, as shown in dash-dot lines in FIG. 1, be slightly bent in the predetermined bending areas 37. In the area of the second contact surface 34, a square hole 36 is provided as a receptacle for a clamping device 42 formed from a lock screw 38 and a nut 40.

As shown in Fig. 3, the lock screw 32 passes through the square hole 36 and the slot 30, so that after tightening the nut 40, the mounting rail 14 and the bracket 18 are firmly connected.

In Fig. 1, the attachment of the gutter 16 to the bracket 18 is still clearly visible. The gutter 16 shown here has an inner bead 44 on the side facing the building and an outer bead 46 on the opposite side. The holding bracket 18 has a projection 48 which overlaps the inner bead 44, from the surface of which rests against the inner bead 44 a mandrel 49 protrudes which penetrates into the wall of the inner bead 44. The retaining bracket 18 also has at its free end 24 a latch 50 which can be snapped into the outer bead 46. The retaining bracket 18 provided for a semicircular gutter 16 is approximately sickle-shaped in side view, the center 52 of a semicircle describing the outer edge of the web-shaped section 22 from the center point 54 of the flange-shaped section 20 adapted to the contour of the gutter is arranged offset towards the building. Therefore, the web-shaped section 22 is at the free end 24 of the bracket 18 flatter than at the building end 22.

As a result of the bending of the end section 32 of the fastening rail 14, there is also a sufficient distance between the gutter 16 and the wall 56 in this case.
