die für das Gum-Verfahren, abstreift und die Paste in die Auffangrinne 19 laufen läßt.
Die Auffangrinne 19 ist mit Spülflüssigkeit kontinuierlich gereinigt. Zweckmäßigerweise

20, wo sie die Warenbahn 3 ohne aktive Heizung heiß beläßt. Falls notwendig kann
aber der Dampfabsaugschacht 7 auch unten oberhalb des Schlitzes 6 zusätzlich
enden, oder der Dämpferauslaufschlitz 6 kann auch höher, z. B. unmittelbar unterhalb
der Vor-Waschvorrichtung 16, 16' an der Außenwandung 5 angeordnet sein.1, the

- Steamer according to claim 1, cha:cacterised in that a guide roller (17) is disposed above the prewashing apparatus (16), but in the immediate vicinity of the steamer discharge wall (5), for guiding the continuous material (3) to be prewashed, when viewed with respect to the direction of conveyance of the system, and this first guide roller (9', 9") of the prewashing apparatus (16, 16') is disposed subsequently, e.g. beneath this guide roller (17).
- Steamer according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the first guide roller (9') has associated therewith a second guide roller (10') so that they lie horizontally adjacent each other, and the liquid coating arrangement (15') and the extractor (11) are disposed between said rollers.
- Steamer according to one of claims 1 - 3, characterised in that a continuous material immersion bath is disposed immediately in front of the extractor.
- Steamer according to one of claims 1 - 4, characterised in that the first guide roller (9', 9") of the prewashing apparatus (16, 16') has associated therewith a stripping blade (18), which acts on the pile side of the continuous material (3), and a collecting channel (19) is disposed beneath the blade (18).
- Steamer according to claim 5, characterised in that the collecting channel (19) is continuously, rinsed with polluted waste water.
- Steamer according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the steam extractor hood (20) extends over the entire prewashing apparatus (16).
- Steamer, according to one of claims 1 to 7, having a steamer outlet slot on the underside of the steamer discharge wall, characterised in that a steam extractor chute (7) is disposed on the outer surface of the steamer discharge wall (5) and is also effective on a level with the outlet slot (6).
- Steamer according to one of claims 1 - 8, characterised in that the prewashing apparatus (16, 16') is disposed above an operator area (21).
- Steamer according to claim 9, characterised in that a fluid collecting trough (13', 13") is disposed beneath the spraying apparatus (15', 15"), beneath the extractor (11', 11").
