Claims (7)
- Cooking top (1) comprising a ventilating system, a glass plate (2) or the like in its upper section, a lower flat chamber (3), housing one and preferably several hot plates mounted inside the chamber, electric and electronic elements (19) for controlling and regulating said hot plates and a cooling fan (18), the glass plate being supported by a peripheral angled section (7) of the chamber, said angled section resting by means of a horizontal bearing surface (6) on a piece of furniture (4) mounting the cooking top in a recessed fitting (5) of corresponding dimensions and having an approximately vertical edge (9), said edge comprising ducts (13, 14) respectively for the inlet of ambient air drawn in by the fan and for the outlet of air after the inversion of flow inside the chamber, said ducts preferably being arranged in opposite sides of the angled section, characterised in that the lower flat chamber (3) is integral with the plate and arranged below the latter forming a self-contained unit, the edge being equipped with a lateral extension (8) on which the plate rests inside the angled section.
- Cooking top according to claim 1, characterised in that the air inlet ducts (13) arranged in the edge (9) of the angled section (7) are provided towards the front of the chamber (3) and the outlet ducts (14) towards the rear of the latter.
- Cooking top according to claim 1, characterised in that the air inlet and outlet ducts (13, 14) are provided on the lateral sides of the angled section.
- Cooking top according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the peripheral angled section (7) surrounding the glass plate (2) is hollow and comprises an overlap (11) which is slightly rounded towards the exterior and the end (12) of which touches the horizontal bearing surface (6) of the top (4).
- Cooking top according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the chamber (4) comprises a lower base formed by a flat sheet (21).
- Cooking top according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the chamber (4) comprises a double base (21, 25) delimited by two parallel sheets having between them a circulation space (26) for air driven by the fan (18).
- Cooking top according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the fan (18) is housed inside the chamber (4) close to the side of the latter comprising the air inlet openings (13).
