Die bisher bekannten Herdwagenöfen bzw. sogenannten Hauben-Öfen verbessern zwar die benötigte Handlingzeit beim Besatzwechsel der Öfen; hinsichtlich des Energiebedarfes sind jedoch insbesondere unter Beachtung der immer bedeutsameren Umweltentlastung weitere Verbesserungen notwendig und von den Anlagenanwendern gefragt.
Die Aufgabe der Erfindung besteht nun darin, ein neuartiges Verfahren zum Brennen von Keramik o. dgl. Brenngut in einem periodisch arbeitenden Ofen sowie eine Anordnung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens zu schaffen, das einen verringerten Energieverlust gewährleistet, mit geringem technisch-ökonomischen Aufwand herstellbar ist und als System-Baustein in eine Fertigungslinie für Keramikteile o. dgl. integrierbar ist.Previously known periodic kilns, such as elevator rapid firing kilns, large-scale bogie hearth furnaces or large-chamber kilns, still show a great heat loss, which is caused by the relatively long opening time of the large furnace doors when the furnace is changed. Unter Heranziehung der Figuren 1 - 3a wird nun erst einmal das grundsätzlich Neue des für den modernen Ofenbau bahnbrechenden erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens sowie der zur Durchführung des Verfahrens konzipierten Anordnung beschrieben.
Die mit Brenngut beladenen Brennregale 13 werden auf einer dem Ofen 1 vorgelagerten Rampe 16 zu einer Brenncharge zusammengestellt. Das dieser Rampe 16 zugewandte Ofentor 2 des Ofen 1 öffnet hier durch seitliche Verschiebung die Brennkammer 1a, wobei zuvor der Ofenboden 6 etwas angehoben wurde.
Danach fährt der den Ofenboden 6 tragende Herdwagen 8 unter die Rampe 16, übernimmt hier 16 die Charge von Brennregalen 13 mittels einem auf der Oberseite des Ofenbodens 6 vorgesehenen Distanzgestelles 12, welches 12 mitsamt dem Ofenboden 6 entsprechend angehoben wird, und fährt dann zurück in die Brennkammer 1a. Das Ofentor 2 wird nun unverzüglich an den Ofen 2 herangeschoben und der Ofenboden 6 mit den darauf befindlichen Brennregalen 13 abgesenkt; anschließend erfolgt der Brennvorgang.
Nach dem Brennvorgang wird der Ofenboden 6 wieder angehoben, das gegenüberliegende Ofentor 3 geöffnet und der Herdwagen 8 fährt nun zur Rampe 19, auf der die Brennregale 13 mit dem gebrannten Brenngut abgestellt werden. Unverzüglich nach dem Abstellen der gebrannten Charge fährt der Herdwagen 8 durch die Brennkammer 1a hindurch zur Rampe 16, um dort eine neue Brenncharge aufzunehmen und plaziert diese in vorher beschriebener Weise in der Brennkammer.
