Description
Store à enrouleur motorisé pour baie galbée Motorized roller blind for curved bay
The present invention relates to a motorized roller blind intended in particular to obscure a bay, in particular a bay for a motor vehicle such as a rear window. The concealment of the rear glasses of motor vehicles is a delicate problem to be solved given the particularly complex shape of such a window. In fact, in certain vehicles, the rear window is very inclined and curved with a curvature in general more accentuated in the upper part than in the lower part. The occulta¬ tion of such a bay is currently achieved by means of a blind fixed under the rear shelf and deployed to the upper edge of the bezel, the blind then extending in a plane which somehow supports the left surface of the rear window and which has the drawback of being moved away from this window, in particular at its base, thus condemning a large surface of the rear shelf. In addition, a blackout window with a blind of this type does not have a satisfactory aesthetic. We have already proposed blinds in which the fabric is curved due to the very shape of the draw bar. This draw bar is generally curved to coincide with the upper curvature of the rear window which is more pronounced than the curvature of this window at the rear shelf. The roller being generally located under this shelf, it must be possible to have in particular at the lateral ends thereof a sufficient width to be able to draw a curved slot therein to accommodate the pull bar in the rolled position of the blind. Such space is not always available on the rear shelves of certain vehicles.
Finally, it will be recalled that the motorization of this type of blind can be achieved in several different ways and in particular by means of deployable rods in accordance with document FR-A-2,646,203. To overcome the drawbacks of existing blinds for rear window of motor vehicles, which cannot be accommodated in all vehicles on the one hand and which on the other hand do not have a very satisfactory aesthetic character, the invention proposes a motorized roller blind for curved bay allowing it to be located as close as possible to the bay window, in the deployed position and which can pass through a rectilinear slot, therefore of small width, of a rear shelf under which would be installed the winding mechanism.
A cet effet l'invention a donc pour objet un store de ce type comportant :To this end the invention therefore relates to a blind of this type comprising:
- une toile fixée par l'une de ses extrémités à cet organe d'enroulement et par son autre extrémité à une barre de tirage,- a canvas fixed by one of its ends to this winding member and by its other end to a draw bar,
According to one of the main characteristics of the invention, the draw bar being elastically deformable perpendicular to the fabric, each link has a base articulated on the corresponding carriage which comprises a pivot on which the rod body is rotatably mounted in order to be able to rotate about its longitudinal axis with respect to the base, the main body comprising a radial abutment surface for coming into contact with an abutment surface carried by the carriage during the last fraction of the carriage deployment stroke and to pivot the rod body around the pivot during this fraction of race. Thus, the deployment of the fabric is done at the beginning in the plane defined on the one hand by the sliding slide of the carriages and on the other hand by the draw bar pushed by the rods, until by the action of the stops described above, a twist is caused in each link which causes the draw bar to bend because this twist causes the pivoting of the planes of articulation of the ends of this bar to the links and the end of the deployed blind takes a curve which can closely match the curve of the window to be occul¬ ter.
In order to be able to adjust the value of this curve or of this hanger, the stopper by each carriage is adjustable in position, which amounts to saying that its contact with the radial stopper carried by the rotary link can occur more or less early in the stroke of the carriages in the direction of deployment of the blind, and can therefore cause a more or less significant angular amplitude pivoting depending on the adjustment in position of this stop carried by the carriage. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, this stop carried by the carriage is constituted by the extremity of a screw extending parallel to the plane of debate of the rod around its articulation on the carriage, this screw being housed in a threaded orifice provided in a wall of the carriage perpendicular to this deflection plane.
Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will emerge from the description of an exemplary embodiment which is given below. For this description, reference will be made to the appended drawing which, by a single figure, represents a motorized blind according to the invention for curved bay, in its state deployed by the left half-view of the figure and in its state rolled up by the half -right view. Thus, the blind according to the invention comprises between two end support flanges 1 and 2, a reel 3 for a fabric 4, this reel comprising in a known manner a cylinder to which one end of the fabric 4 is fixed, actuated in the direction of winding by an elastic device return such as an interior spring. The other end of the fabric 4, that is to say its free end, comprises a pulling bar 5 sufficiently rigid so that it can be coupled, at its ends, operating members. Between the two flanges 1 and 2 there is also disposed a slide 6 for two carriages 7 and 8. This slide 6 also forms a casing for a device for driving the carriages 7 and 8 along the slide 6, known in itself- same and comprising for example racks integral with the carriages and a toothed wheel 9 wedged on the output shaft of a motor for actuating the blind.
Each carriage has a wing inclined relative to the slide 6 which bears the reference 10 for the carriage 7 and the reference 11 for the carriage 8. This wing forms a hinge support for a base 12, 13, this base being in the form yoke overlapping the curved edge of the wings 10 and 11, the axis of articulation of each of these bases being noted 14 and 15.
At its end opposite to the articulation axes 14 and 15, each base 12 and 13 comprises, in the case of the figure, a sleeve 16, 17 forming a pivot bearing for a rod 18, 19 which constitutes the main body of each link .
L'extrémité libre de chaque tige 18, 19 comporte un oeillet 20, 21 entièrement solidaire de la tige correspon- dante 18, 19, permettant l'articulation de chaque tige à 1'extrémité correspondante de la barre de tirage 5.The free end of each rod 18, 19 comprises an eyelet 20, 21 entirely integral with the corresponding rod 18, 19, allowing the articulation of each rod to the corresponding end of the draw bar 5.
In the embodiment shown, each sleeve 16, 17 integral with the base part 12, 13, has a circular slot 22, 23 through which is accessible the rod 18, 19 which is housed in the sleeve and making it possible to install a radial pallet 24, 25 which forms a rod operating member, rotating about its longitudinal axis inside the sleeve at the same time as an axial locking member for this rod relative to the muff.
Each of the carriages 7 and 8 has a wall 26, 27 which forms a support for a screw 28, 29 the end of which is on the arc of a circle which will be described by the pallet 24, 25 when the connecting rod 18, 19 turns around its articulation axis 14, 15. This screw 28, 29 can therefore project more or less in the direction of the rod relative to the wall 26, 27 which carries it, and therefore be encountered more or less early by the pallet 24, 25 secured to the rod 18, 19.
As in the French document FR-A-2,646,203 cited in the preamble, the toothed wheel 9 controls racks which are integral with the carriages 7 and 8. When the blind is in its folded state, the carriages 7 and 8 are side by side in the center of the slide 6 and the connecting rods 18, 19 are very oblique as shown in the right part of the figure. The control of the deployment of the blind by the control of the toothed wheel 9 causes the carriages 7 and 8 to move apart from one another and the progressive straightening of the connecting rods which pushes the draw bar against the effect of the elastic member located in the winding drum 3. Before the end of the carriage 7 and 8, the pallet 24, 25 meets the end of the corresponding screw 28, 29. Thus, during the final fraction of the stroke of the carriages 7 and 8 in the direction of the support flanges 1 and 2, the screw 28, 29 pushes the pallet 24, 25 counterclockwise around the longitudinal axis of the rod 18 and in clockwise around the longitudinal axis of the rod 19. This rotation is possible in the pivot 16, 17 carried by the rings 12 and 13 and the plane of the eyelets 20, 21 is no longer identical this which leads to the draw bar 5 taking a certain curvature whose radius will be a function of the angular amplitude of the rotation created by the contact of the screws 28, 29 on the pallets 24, 25. The draw bar is thus automatically curved, able to better match, for example the upper contour of the window that the blind is intended to obscure. When the blind is folded back, the carriages 7 and 8 are driven towards the center of the slide 6. After a small fraction of this return stroke, the pallets 24 and 25, due to the progressive inclination of the rods 18, 19 , leave the contact of the screws 28, 29 and the own elasticity of the draw bar brings the eyelets 20 and 21 substantially in the plane of this draw bar. Therefore, when the blind must cross the slot of a garni¬ ture for example of a rear shelf under which it is installed, the pull bar is practically straight and the slot can be narrow so do not harm The aesthetics and rigidity of this rear vehicle shelf.
The embodiment of the invention as shown in the figure is not limiting and one can imagine other means for causing the rotation of the rods 18, 19 at the end of the carriage stroke when the blind is deployed. : for example a toothed sector integral with the rods 18, 19 cooperating with a rack integral with the inclined wings 10, 11 of the carriages.
