Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Verbinden von Materialbahnen aus Verpackungsmaterial, nämlich eines Bahnanfangs einer als Bobine - Neubobine - gewickelten Materialbahn - Neubahn - mit einem Bahnende einer von einer anderen Bobine - Ablaufbobine - ablaufenden Materialbahn - Ablaufbahn -, wobei der Bahnanfang der Neubahn durch ein Abziehorgan auf dem Umfang der Neubobine erfaßt, von dieser abgezogen und im Bereich eines Verbindungsaggregats mit dem Bahnende der Ablaufbahn durch Kleben oder dergleichen verbunden wird.
