Am freien Ende von zwei weiteren seitlichen Schwenkhebeln 13 ist ein sich quer über die Arbeitsbreite erstreckendes Bahnhalteelement 14 befestigt, das im vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel als Saugbalken mit einer Reihe von nach unten offenen Saugnäpfen ausgebildet ist. Die Hebel 13 sind an der Unterseite der Längsträger 1 um einen sich in der Nähe der Leitrolle 5 befindliche Achse 15 schwenkbar angelenkt und weisen eine nach oben abgewinkelte Verlängerung auf, an deren Ende als Schwenkantrieb eine ebenfalls an den Längsträgern 1 befestigte Kolben-Zylinder-Einheit 16 angreift. Mit einem gewissen Abstand von der Halteeinrichtung 14 ist an den Schwenkhebeln 13 eine sich quer über die Arbeitsbreite erstreckende Andrückwalze 17 befestigt, und etwa in der Mitte zwischen Haltevorrichtung 14 und Andrückwalze 17 erstreckt sich über die Arbeitsbreite ein nach unten blasendes Blasrohr 18, das ebenfalls beidseitig an den Hebeln 13 befestigt ist. Der Hub der Kolben-Zylinder-Einheit 16 und die Verhältnisse an den Hebeln 13 sind so gewählt, daß die Andrückwalze 17 sich vom Außenumfang einer vollen Rolle 3.1 mit minimalem Durchmesser bis in den freien Bereich zwischen maximalem Durchmesser der Rolle 3 und der sich unmittelbar unterhalb der Längsträger 1 befindlichen Bahnführungen 2 schwenken läßt. In hochgeschwenkter Endposition befindet sich das Halteelement 14 unmittelbar neben der Schneidlinie eines quer über die Arbeitsbreite traversierenden Messers 19, dessen Führung 20 an der Unterseite beider Längsträger 1 befestigt und mit ausreichendem Abstand von der Bahnführung 2 von nachfolgend abgezogenen Bahnen angeordnet ist, daß es diese nicht stört. Die Transportstange 7 befindet sich in der Ruheposition 11 im von der Leitrolle 5 freigehaltenen Bereich hinter dem nach oben abgezogenen Bahnteil 6.1. Die Schwenkarme 13 stehen hochgeschwenkt, so daß sich die Andrückwalze 17, das Halteelement 14 und das Blasrohr 18 im nichtstörenden Bereich oberhalb des Verlaufes der Bahn 6.1 und unterhalb der Bahnenführung 2 befindet. Aufgrund des Abwickelns verringert sich der Druchmesser der Rolle 3 immer mehr und der Verlauf der Bahn 6.1 wandert nach unten, bis ein vorbestimmter Restdurchmesser 3.2 erreicht ist, bei dem der Abwickelvorgang abgestoppt wird (Fig. 2). Anschließend schwenkt der Schwenkarm 8 im Uhrzeigersinn, so daß die Transportstange 7 aus ihrer Ruheposition 11 bewegt wird und in die Bahn 6.1 eintaucht. Beim Weiterschwenken bis in die in Fig. 2 gezeigte Endposition 12 unterhalb der Längsträger 1 wird der in Fig. 2 gestrichelt gezeichnete Bahnverlauf 6.3, 6.4 erreicht. Der Bahnteil 6.4 liegt nach Erreichen der Endposition 12 des Schwenkarmes 8 sowohl an der Andrückwalze 17, als auch an den Saugflächen des Halteelementes 14 und der Schneidlinie des Messers 19 an. Bei der Bewegung des Hebels 8 wird die Bahnlänge zwischen der Restrolle 3.1 und der Leitwalze 5 verlängert, daher wird die Restrolle 3.1 weiter abgewickelt.

Anschließend wird der Hebel 13 nach unten geschwenkt, bis die Andrückwalze 17 unter Druck an der Außenseite der Rolle 3 anliegt. Durch Abschlaten des Sauggebläses des Halteelementes 14 und Einschalten der Blasluft im Blasrohr 18 wird das abgeschnittene Bahnende hinter der Andrückwalze 17 auf die Außenfläche der Rolle 3 gelegt und gehalten. Anschließend wird der Bahnabzug der ablaufenden Bahn 6.2 eingeschaltet, wodurch die volle Rolle 3 aufgrund der Reibung durch die unter Druck anliegende Andrückwalze 17 gleichzeitig im Uhrzeigersinn in Drehung versetzt wird. oberhalb der Abwickelstelle in einem Rahmen zwei Paare von jeweils parallelen Schwenkhebeln (8, 13) angelenkt sind, wobei ein Schwenkhebelpaar (8) ein Transportelement (7} zum Anheben eines Teils (6.4) der ablaufenden Bahn trägt, das von einer Ruheposition (11) in Bahnlaufrichtung hinter dem zur Leitrolle (5) geführten Bahnteil (6.1) gegen die Bahnlaufrichtung in eine Endposition (12) schwenkbar ist, die sich außerhalb des Bereiches einer vollen Rolle (3) befindet, das zweite Schwenkhebelpaar (13) an seinem freien Ende ein Halteelement (14) und davor ein Andrückelement (17) für den angehobenen Bahnteil (6.4) trägt und vom Bereich der Endposition (12) des ersten Schwenkhebelpaares (8) in Bahnlaufrichtung bis an den Außenumfang einer vollen Rolle (3) schwenkbar ist.
