Description

The invention relates to a guide rail with running surfaces separated from one another by a longitudinal section and with a supporting part which is supported, displaceably and non-rotatably guided therein, to which a closure element, preferably a door leaf of a folding sliding door, can be attached in a hanging manner.

Die Montage dieser bekannten Faltschiebetür ist kompliziert, weil der Scharnierarm in schwer zugänglicher Weise mit dem bereits in der Führungsschiene gehalterten Rollen-Tragteil verbunden werden muß.DE-GM 84 00 describes a folding sliding door with an upper guide rail, in which a roller support part is guided with fastening cams arranged in mirror image to one another, to which a hinge arm of a hinge connecting the outer door leaf to the roller support part can be attached, either left or right-handed 107 known. The assembly of this known folding sliding door is complicated because the hinge arm has to be connected in a difficult-to-access manner to the roller support part already held in the guide rail.

In a guide rail known from DE-GM 93 00 918 of the type mentioned, a simpler assembly is possible in that the supporting part is provided with a locking device consisting of locking levers, with which the wing is connected by latching insertion of a connecting part provided with a bolt are connectable. To lock with the locking levers, the bolt is provided with a head that can be gripped behind. This known construction allows rapid assembly by simply inserting the bolt into the latching locking device. However, releasing the locking device is difficult and, moreover, the supporting part and the connecting part which can be fixed thereon have complex designs in order to enable the releasable latching.

The object of the invention is therefore to provide a guide rail of the type specified above, with which the closure element carried by its supporting part can be connected quickly and easily with a cost-effective design.

According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the support part has an elongated slide part guided in the guide rail with a width corresponding in the longitudinal slot of the guide rail, that in the support part a bolt is rotatably but axially immovably mounted in a bore perpendicular to the guide rail Area of the slide part carries a hammer-shaped head, the width of which is smaller and the length of which is greater than the width of the longitudinal slot and that the bolt can be locked in a position in which the head is supported on the running surfaces.

The supporting part according to the invention has a simple design, because it essentially consists of an elongated slide part guided in the guide rail, which is provided for its guidance in the guide rail with a rotatably mounted hammer-shaped head, the leg of which is turned in the transverse position and rests on the running surfaces of the guide rail form guided sliders. If the legs of the hammer-shaped head point in the longitudinal direction of the slide part, they protrude beyond its width not out, so that the slide part can be inserted through the longitudinal slot into the guide rail for mounting and connecting the support part to the guide rail. Once this insertion has taken place, the bolt need only be rotated through 90 ° by a simple actuating device, so that the slide part is locked in the guide rail and the legs of the hammer-shaped head are supported as sliding piece contact surfaces. The supporting parts according to the invention can therefore be connected to the closure elements before the final assembly, so that only the insertion and locking of the slide parts of the supporting parts in the guide rail is then necessary.

In a further embodiment of the invention, it is provided that a base part running transversely to this is connected to the slide part of the support part, on which the hinge arm of a furniture hinge can be fastened transversely to the guide rail. This embodiment of the invention creates a simple and easy-to-assemble holding device for the outer door leaf of a folding sliding door.

A support plate can be fastened on the base part, on which the hinge arm is guided so that it can be adjusted transversely by a self-locking adjusting device. The guide can be made from aligned bores in angled legs of the support plate, which pass through bolts which are fastened in the angled legs of the hinge arm. Furthermore, the self-locking actuating device can consist of an eccentric drive, the eccentric of which is arranged in an elongated hole in the web part of the hinge arm.

The support plate can be guided in a longitudinally displaceable manner on the base part and can be fastened by a fastening screw a keyhole-like elongated hole penetrates. In this way, a simple adjustment in the longitudinal direction of the hinge arm is created.

In a further embodiment of the invention it is provided that the fastening screw is at the same time a clamping screw for the bolt carrying the hammer-shaped head. If the bolt is in a position in which the legs of the hammer-shaped head rest as sliding pieces on the running surfaces of the guide rail, it is fixed in this position by further tightening the fastening screw.

In a further embodiment of the invention it is provided that the bolt is provided with an angled actuating part which, in a position in which the hammer-shaped head lies transversely to the longitudinal slot, bears against a flank of the base part. With this actuating part, the hammer-shaped head can be easily and quickly turned into its locking position and also released again.

According to a preferred embodiment it is provided that the set and fastening screws are located on the side of the base part which faces the adjacent body wall in the closed position of the sliding door. In this way, simple assembly and adjustment can be carried out when the folding sliding door is open.

In a further embodiment of the invention it is provided that the slide part has forked legs at both ends, in each of which a bolt carrying a roller is held, and that the rollers are located between the edges of the profile of the guide rail which delimit the longitudinal slot. These rollers improve the running properties of the slide part in the guide rail.

According to a particularly preferred embodiment, it is provided that the slide part is mirror-symmetrical to its vertical central transverse plane and the support part to the longitudinal central plane perpendicular to this. This configuration enables a left and right assembly in a simple manner, which is required depending on the articulation of the left or right door wing on the body wall.

The hammer-shaped head is expediently mounted in a central window-like opening in the slide part.

The slide part connected in one piece to the base part can consist of a plastic injection molded part. Likewise, the hammer-like head and the rollers can be made of plastic injection molded parts.

The cover plate is removed from the furniture, so that only the side walls 1, 2 of the body part can be seen. On the side wall 1, the inner door leaf 3 of the folding sliding door is articulated by a conventional four-bar hinge with two links, the hinge arm 4 of which is fastened to the inside of the side wall 1 and the cup-shaped hinge part 5 in a corresponding recess in the door leaf 3. Of the inner door leaf 3 is connected by a conventional hinge 6 to the outer door leaf 7 of the folding sliding door. In the area of its outer end, the door leaf 7 is connected by a four-joint hinge 8 with two links to a support part 9 which is displaceably guided in a guide rail 10 which is fastened to a cover plate 11 shown in FIG. 2, which in FIG is removed for the sake of clarity. The hinge arm 12 of the hinge 8 is fastened to the base part 13 of the support part 9, which is connected in one piece to the slide part 14 guided in the guide rail 10.

The guide rail 10, as can best be seen from FIG. 2, has a U-shaped profile, from the lateral legs 16, 17 of which webs 18 are angled inwards, which form inner running surfaces 19, the end edges of which face one another through a longitudinal slot 20 are separated.

When the folding sliding door is opened, the supporting part 9 is displaced in the guide rail 10 in the direction of arrow B, the inner door leaf 3 being pivoted in the direction of arrow C and the outer door leaf 7 in opposite directions.

The support part 9, as can best be seen from FIG. 5, consists of an upper slide part 14 which is formed by an elongated block which has forked legs 22 at its ends. The legs 22 are provided with aligned bores, in which bolts 23 are freely rotatable, on which rollers 24 are fastened, which lie between the legs 22. The slide part is provided in its central region with a window-like opening 25 in which an approximately hammer-shaped head 26 is rotatably mounted on a bolt 27.

The holding part 9 is provided with a vertical bore, in the straight shaft of the bolt 27 is rotatably mounted. The bolt 27 has an upper section 28 with a square profile, which passes through the square opening 29 of the hammer-shaped head 26, so that it is non-rotatably supported on the bolt 27. At its upper end, the bolt 27 is provided with an end part which can be riveted and provided with a bore, which is riveted after the assembly for fixing the bolt 27 in the bore to form a rivet head 30. The bolt 27 is provided with a bend 31 at its lower end.

The upper slide part 14 of the support part 9 is formed symmetrically to its transverse central plane 32. With the sled-shaped part 14, a base part 13 is integrally connected, which is transverse to the sled-shaped part 14, so that the sled part 14 and the base part 13 cross each other in the manner shown in FIG. 1. The base part 13 is provided on one side with a ramp-shaped elevation 35, the side flanks of which are overlapped by the angled legs 36 of a support plate 37. The ramp-shaped elevation 35 is provided in its central region with a circular disk-shaped elevation through which a hole in the fastening screw 38 passes. At the side of this disk-shaped elevation, aligned bores 40 are arranged in the legs 36 of the support plate, which pass through two bolts 41 which run parallel to one another and which are fastened in the angled legs 42 of the hinge arm 12. On these bolts 41, which run parallel to one another, the hinge arm is guided in the direction of arrow D so as to be displaceable to the support plate 37. For transverse displacement, the shaft of an eccentric 44 is riveted to the web part 48 of the support plate and lies in an elongated hole 45 of the web part of the hinge arm 12. The web part 48 of the support plate 37 is provided with a keyhole-like elongated hole 49 into which the fastening screw 38 takes hold. For assembly, the head of the fastening screw 38 is pushed through the circular part of the elongated hole, the narrower elongated hole-like part serving for the mounting. An adjustment of the hinge arm in its longitudinal direction is possible over the length of the narrower slot-like part. In order to be able to actuate the fastening screw 38, the web part of the hinge arm 12 is provided with a rectangular window-like opening 50. 10 shows the bores 51 in a leg 42 of the hinge arm 12 in which the ends of the guide bolts 41 are riveted.

If the angled leg 31 of the bolt 27 is at right angles to the base part, the legs of the hammer-shaped head 26 are pivoted into the window-like opening 25 of the slide part 14 so that they do not protrude beyond the slide part 14. In this state, the slide part can then be inserted through the slot 20 of the guide rail 10. In the inserted state, the angled part 31 of the bolt 27 is then rotated through 90 °, so that it bears against the flank of the lateral web 52 of the base part. In this position, the legs of the hammer-shaped head 26 are transverse to the slide part 14, so that they can be supported in the manner shown in FIG. 1 on the guide tracks 19 of the guide rail. In this position, the slide part 14 is locked in the guide rail, so that the legs of the hammer-shaped head 26 form the sliders carrying the supporting part. In this locked position, the rollers 24 lie in the manner shown in FIG. 3 between the facing end edges of the running surfaces in the guide slot 20. Torques transmitted to the slide part 14 by the hinge arm are thereby applied to the end edges 56 of the running surfaces without any appreciable increase in the frictional forces transfer.
