Definitions

  • the invention relates to a connection module according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • connection module with multiple contacts for connecting cable wires with an insulation displacement contact of the generic type is already from the US 4,993,966 previously known.
  • the connection module has a pressure piece with a Screw, an intermediate piece and a base plate. Within the pressure piece are two identical fork contacts arranged for connection of insulated cable cores.
  • connection module is from the Quante Aktiengesellschaft prospectus, Uellendahler Str. 353, D-42109 Wuppertal 1: "Connection Module MX" known.
  • connection module is the connection of incoming wires and of outgoing cores only with a narrowly limited wire diameter bandwidth possible. It is special disadvantageous that due to the design of the module arranged contacts no larger bandwidth of Wire diameters can be connected one behind the other. Of the Connection of outdoor cables (Dropwire) with larger ones Wire diameters are not possible or the connection of smaller wire diameters after the previous one repeated connection of larger wire diameters is not due to the inflexible contact design guaranteed.
  • a multiple contact to connect two incoming and two outgoing wires is from DE 31 37 429 C2 known.
  • the contacts are insulation displacement contacts and consist of leaf-shaped, springy Contact material, the sheet surface obliquely to the conductor connection direction and parallel to the respective neighboring element is arranged.
  • the connection contacts are in lower area with cross-sectionally U-shaped connection points Mistake. It is further below extensions formed on the connecting contacts.
  • connection module of the generic type, to which optional cable cores with different Wide range of wire diameters can be connected.
  • connection module makes it possible without using Special tools plastic insulated wires and outdoor cables with the help of an insulation displacement contact arrangement connect with each other and by loosening to separate a locking device and to be checked separately.
  • the contacts on the base plate allow the installation of surge arresters, for example.
  • the contact chambers are against Corrosive atmosphere and moisture protected.
  • the Connection module can be easily put on commercial Profile rails are snapped on. In the Assembly of several connection modules as a block next to each other can individual connection modules from the profile rail simply removed and reinserted without the adjacent connection modules be impaired in their function.
  • the contact arrangements ensure the possibility of connection a wide range of wire diameters.
  • connection module 1 consists of a Pressure piece 2 with a plastic screw 3, one Intermediate piece 4 and a base plate 5.
  • the base plate 5 and the intermediate piece 4 are by a Detent device 13 releasably connected to each other.
  • the Pressure piece 2 with the plastic screw 3 is in that Intermediate piece 4 integrated.
  • the Base plate 5 is with a locking device 14 (Fig.2) provided, via which the connection module 1 to a not commercial rail shown snapped on becomes.
  • Fig.2 shows in the pressure piece 2 over the openings 9 outgoing, not shown Cores in two separate contact chambers 11, 12 introduced. With the help of the plastic screw 3 and Pressure piece 2, the outgoing wires are straight moved down into the intermediate piece 4. Penetrate it the contact elements fixedly arranged in the intermediate piece 4 6.7 of the double contact 20 (Fig.3.4) Isolate the outgoing wires and contact the respective wires gastight.
  • the contact elements 6, 7 are as shown 3 and 4 in one piece as a double contact 20 executed.
  • the contact element 6 is a closed fork contact, which extends to the wire axis 22 the outgoing wires are in the 90 ° position.
  • the Contact element 7 consists of a set at an angle of 30 ° Insulation displacement contact formed.
  • At the junction between the two contact elements 6.7 is a tap 18 with a bent latch tab 15 arranged.
  • the contacts 8 as shown in FIG. 5 are arranged for the incoming wires in the base plate 5.
  • the incoming wires are through the openings 10 (Fig.1) brought up to the contacts 8.
  • the Contacts 8 are designed as insulation displacement contacts 19.
  • a special tool is used here shaped neck 17 on the intermediate piece 4 (Fiq.2).
  • the Contacts 8 in the base plate 5 reach around in a fork shape the Abqriff 18 of the double contact 20 in the intermediate piece 4 (Fig.3), so that an electrical connection is created.
  • both wires with a wire diameter of 0.4 mm to 0.8 mm as well as Dropwire with a wire diameter contact gas-tight from 0.7 mm to 1.3 mm become. You can dropwire up to several times in succession maximum 1.3 mm wire diameter and then, after replacing these wires, thinner wires up a minimum of 0.4 mm wire diameter must be connected.
  • the Cores with the larger wire diameter are through wired the fork contact of the contact element 6, the wires with the smaller wire diameter through the fork contact of the contact element 6 passed and on the insulation displacement contact of the Contact element 7 connected.
  • the fork contact works in this case as a clamping rib and secures the position of the wire in addition.
  • the intermediate piece 4 can from the base plate 5th (Fig. 1,2) so that the parts with the respective contacts 20 and 8 separated from each other and thus a separation of the electrical Contacts 8 of the incoming wires from the contact elements 6.7 of the outgoing wires are carried out can. When separated, both sides of the Connection to be checked independently.
  • a Surge arrester for securing the connection module 1 against overvoltages, in chamber 16 (Fig. 2) be plugged on.
  • connection module 1 can on standard rails snapped by means of the Rasteinrichtunq 14 become.
  • connection modules 1 can be individual connection modules 1 from the profile rail with a screwdriver or dql. removed and reinserted without the adjacent connection modules 1 in their function are impaired.
  • the pressure piece 2 is for optical control flawless contacting made of transparent plastic manufactured.
  • the contact chambers 11, 12 in the pressure piece 2 and Contact chamber in the base plate 5 are for additional protection against corrosive atmosphere and Moisture filled with fat.
  • the double contact 20 is preferably made of silver-plated Special brass manufactured.
