Position the cut back insert 1 by pairs of feed rollers 4-6 to the waiting position "W" (Fig. 2). Query the leading edge of the supplied cardboard sheets 1a via light barrier 14 and synchronous conveyance of the leading back insert 1 and blanket cardboard 1a in the rolling device 7, 8 via position control of the back insert front edge and cardboard leading edge and simultaneously feeding a following back insert 1 to position "Z" after closing the cut length transport rollers 3a, 3b, opening of the cutting device 9 and clamping device 10 (FIG. 3).

Claims (3)

Vorrichtung zum Ablängen von Abschnitten einer von einer Vorratsrolle ablaufenden Rückeneinlage und zum positionsgenauen Zusammenführen mit zugeführten Deckenpappen in einer Anrolleinrichtung für das maschinelle Herstellen von Buchdecken mit einem Schnittlängentransportwalzenpaar zum Vorziehen der Rückeneinlage und Positionieren in einer Schneideinrichtung und mit einer Reihe von Einfuhrwalzenpaaren zum Fördern der abgelängten Rückeneinlage durch einen Transportkanal in die Anrolleinrichtung, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Schnittlängentransportwalzenpaar (3) und die Einfuhrwalzenpaare (4-6) taktweise von einem gemeinsamen geregelten Servomotor (12) antreibbar und die Schnittlängentransportwalzen (3a, 3b) nach Erreichen einer definierten Abzugslänge der Rückeneinlage (1) in einen wirkungslosen Zustand bringbar sind, daß der Schneideinrichtung (9) eine die Rückeneinlage (1) haltende Klemmeinrichtung (10) zugeordnet ist und daß Steuermittel (14, 17) zum Positionieren der abgelängten Rückeneinlage (1) in einer Warteposition im Transportkanal (2) und zum Freigeben der abgelängten Rückeneinlage (1) in zeitlicher Abstimmung mit den taktweise zugeführten Deckenpappen (1a) vorgesehen sind.Device for cutting sections of a back insert running from a supply roll and for bringing them together in position with supplied cover paper in a roll-on device for the mechanical production of book covers with a pair of cut length transport rollers for pulling the back insert and positioning in a cutting device and with a number of input roller pairs for conveying the cut back insert through a transport channel into the rolling device, characterized in that the cut length transport roller pair (3) and the import roller pairs (4-6) can be driven cyclically by a common regulated servo motor (12) and the cut length transport rollers (3a, 3b) after reaching a defined pull-off length of the back insert ( 1) can be brought into an ineffective state that the cutting device (9) is assigned a clamping device (10) holding the back insert (1) and that control means (14, 17) for positioning d he cut back insert (1) is provided in a waiting position in the transport channel (2) and for releasing the cut back insert (1) in timed coordination with the cyclically fed cardboard sheets (1a).
