Claims (3)

  1. A steam iron (1) including a reservoir (2) of ironing liquid which communicates with a steam-generating chamber (4), and including a spray (8) for spreading the liquid directly onto the ironing, the iron being characterized in that the spray (8) is associated with a second reservoir (9) independent from the first reservoir (2) and located inside the body of the iron.
  2. An iron according to claim 1, characterized in that at least one of the reservoirs is associated with at least one cassette through which the liquid entering or leaving the reservoir passes and containing a substance for treating the liquid or the ironing.
  3. An iron according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that at least one of the two reservoirs (2, 9) is removable.
