Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a shower partition to separate a shower cabin, with at least a door attached to a support column is pivotable about a pivot axis, such that a first door area for release or locking one access opening and a second Area for releasing or closing a Passage opening in opposite directions are pivotable, with the support column for attachment on a side wall adjacent to the door of the room containing the shower cabin with at least is connected to a console.
  • a shower partition is known, the two each pivotable between an open position and a closed position Has doors.
  • Each door is on the inside in an upper one Area and in a lower area each with a swivel hinge provided by means of which the door between a closed position and an open position is pivotable.
  • Each swivel hinge is over a console-like holding part 12 on a side wall of the shower cubicle attached.
  • the holding parts and the swivel hinges are towards the interior the shower cubicle covered by a wall cover plate, which at in the open position, the door swings close to the door.
  • the side wall of the shower cubicle is closed.
  • EP-A-0 484 932 is one shower partition arranged in the corner area of a room initially specified type with two pivotable against each other Doors, each in pivot bearings on support columns
  • the pillars are at least in their upper end area above the Swivel bearing for wall mounting with a console connected. They are in their lower end area Support columns either on the floor or with another, lower console connected to the lies on the edge of a shower tray.
  • the pivot arranged in the door plane are both the top and also the lower console outside the door area, either above the upper edge of the door or below the lower edge of the door. If you go from the usual height of the door of a shower partition, which is about two meters, are both the upper and lower console outside one for one in the shower room Person within easy reach.
  • Support column from the actual entry area for the entrance to the shower cubicle is divided, for Housing an outside of the shower cabin located cabinet and / or shelf arrangement use.
  • the support column or those connected to the support column Pin bearing is between the side wall and created a passage opening for the support column, that enables a person from within out of the shower into the cabinet and / or Reach in and thus shelf arrangement without having to leave the shower cubicle and / or Cabinet arrangement to remove objects.
  • the invention has for its object a To create a shower partition that enables the due to the arrangement spaced from the side wall the support column enabled storage space that one first door area between the support column and the Side wall is upstream, without separate shelves to have to be able to use.
  • the wall bracket for the support column serving console is located anywhere between the upper edge of the door and the lower edge of the door.
