Die Liegefläche ist am Kopfende und an ihren Längskanten jeweils durch eine Seitenwand, nämlich durch die zweite bzw. die dritte und die vierte Seitenwand begrenzt. Die seitliche Begrenzung der Liege¬ fläche durch die dritte und die vierte Seitenwand hat zur Folge, daß die Liegefläche in ihrer Breite von den Benutzern besser, d_ h. bis zur jeweiligen Längskante hin, ausgenutzt werden kann, da durch die Seitenflächen ein Abstürzen der schlafenden Personen ausgeschlossen ist und deshalb die Notwendigkeit eines Sicherheitsabstands der schlafenden Person von der jeweiligen Längskante nicht besteht. Auf diese Weise wird es möglich, daß eine Liegefläche von relativ geringer Breite für zwei Personen vollständig ausreichend ist, ohne Einschränkung des Schlafkomforts. Durch die Gestaltung des Fensters wird überdies verhindert, daß die benutzenden Per¬ sonen etwa dann, wenn sie sich in der Dunkelheit aufrichten, in schmerzlichen Kontakt mit dem jeweiligen Fenster geraten. Trotzdem ist eine ausreichende Belüftung durch das Fenster sichergestellt.
