Abstract

The setting device for pretensioning a snowboard or skis has two upwardly projecting abutments (2, 2') to be fitted on the device (1) at a distance apart, a tension rod (3), a spring component (5) and/or a damping component (6), in which the components (5, 6), may be pretensioned by adjusters (4) to a greater or lesser extent. This arrangement makes it possible to preset the curvature of a snowboard or skis as desired.

Description

The present invention relates to a device for adjusting the pretension or deflection in snowboards or skis and the use thereof on a snowboard or skis.

Durchbiegung nimmt ab.Skis in particular, however, snowboards have inherent stability due to the special structure of different layers of wood, plastic and metal on deflection and torsion. With today's designs, it cannot be adapted to the needs of the driver. The snowboard loses quality when used intensively, i.e. the preload or deflection decreases.

The object of the present invention is to provide a device which enables a variable and sprung adjustability of the hardness (stiffness) of the snowboard or ski, tailored to the needs of the driver in accordance with his weight, his ability and the respective snow conditions, in order to enable optimum use of the edges . It is also intended to dampen the impacts on the rider's body while driving, to reduce unwanted vibrations to improve the driving characteristics and to increase the life of the snowboard as far as possible.

This object is achieved with an adjusting device which, according to the invention, is distinguished by two abutments to be spaced apart from one another on the top of a snowboard or ski, and by a pressure rod arranged between the latter abuts on an abutment and is guided freely longitudinally in the other, a stop being provided on the push rod in the central region thereof and a spring and / or damping element is arranged between this and the abutment guiding the push rod in a longitudinally displaceable manner, which by changing the distance between Stop and said other abutment is more or less prestressable and by means to freely adjust the distance between said other abutment and the stop, such that the two abutments are pressed apart by the bias of the spring and / or damping element with adjustable force and thus impose a more or less pronounced deflection on the surface, ie the snowboard or ski in the area between the abutments.

A particularly advantageous embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is characterized in that the push rod is formed at least in a central section as a threaded rod with the abutment adjusting nut forming the abovementioned stop, the push rod, which is preferably secured against rotation, being longitudinally displaceable in one abutment and with a stop surface on the other abutment abuts and that a compression spring and / or a damping element is placed on the pressure rod between the adjusting nut forming the adjusting means and the longitudinally displaceably held end of the push rod, the push spring and / or damping element being pretensionable by adjusting the adjusting nut to an arbitrarily adjustable value.

An eccentric or wedge mechanism acting on the spring and / or damping element and attached to the push rod can also be used as the adjusting means.

In a further variant, the adjusting means consist of a device with which at least one of the abutments is adjusted in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the push rod. So that the spring and / or damping element is also more or less biased.

When using such devices on snowboards, at least one such device is attached in the area between the bindings on the top of the snowboard, but possibly several next to one another, whereby the devices can be of different types (e.g. one with a spring element, the other with a damper element).

When used on skis, the device must be installed lengthways in the area of the binding plate (possibly slightly thicker).

The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to exemplary embodiments shown in the drawing. Show it:
  • Figure 1 purely schematically a snowboard in longitudinal section (approximately along the central longitudinal line).
  • Figure 2 is a schematic top view of a snowboard equipped with an adjusting device according to the invention;
  • Fig. 3 is a view similar to Fig 2, with two differently constructed, side-by-side adjustment devices.
  • Fig. 4 is a side view of a device according to the invention also purely schematically.
  • 5 shows a variant of an adjusting device, and
  • 6 shows a particularly preferred embodiment of a device according to the invention.

The tread of the snowboard 1 generally has a predetermined mean prestress, which is manifested in the deflection f o , ie the tread is concave when the board is not under load.

With the device according to the invention, the deflection f 1 of the tread can now be changed (to any value f 1> f o ). This changes the driving characteristics, or the basic preload due to material fatigue that is reduced due to use or aging can be adjusted. Such an adjustment can of course also be adapted to the individual weight or the skill of the driver.

If a real damping element is used, any impacts that occur can be dampened more effectively than if only one spring element is used.

The device 1, with the two abutments 2, 2 'projecting upwards, the push rod 3, the adjusting means 4, the spring element 5 and the damping element 6 arranged in the section between the two bonds 7,7 '.

In the example shown, the device consists of the two angles 2,2 'forming the abutments, which are firmly connected (screwed) between the bindings 7,7' to the board 1 and a threaded rod 3 forming the push rod (this has at least in the middle section a thread on). On the threaded rod 3 there is an adjusting nut 4, a compression spring 5 and a damping element in the form of a rubber block 6. With the adjusting nut 4, the bias of the compression spring 5 and the damping element 6 can be varied and thus the bias or deflection f 1 of the board can be influenced. In this arrangement with compression spring and damping element, there is a dependency between the characteristics of these two elements.

In principle, it is also possible for the device to have only one compression spring or only one Damping element is equipped. However, both elements are preferably arranged on a push rod. It is also possible to provide several devices of the same or different construction on a snowboard.

So zeigt z.B. For example, Fig. 3 shows a snowboard with two juxtaposed devices 8 and 9, one of which carries a spring element 8 'and the other a damping element 9'. In this embodiment, one device 8 is used to adjust the deflection of the tread, while the other 9 is mainly used to adjust the degree of damping.

Die Gewindestange 12 ist im Widerlager 11 axial frei verschiebbar, vorzugsweise aber an diesem Ende gegen Verdrehung gesichert.4 shows the basic structure of a device according to the invention. This consists of two abutments 10, 11, a threaded rod 12, which rests with a shoulder 13 on the abutment 10, a compression spring 15 and a rubber damper 16, the adjusting nut 14 and damper 16 being freely displaceably placed on the rod 12. The threaded rod 12 is axially freely displaceable in the abutment 11, but is preferably secured against rotation at this end.

By turning the adjusting nut 14, the package consisting of the compression spring 15 and damping element 16 can now be more or less pretensioned, so that the two abutments 10, 11 are pushed apart by the pretensioning force and, thanks to the lever formed by the abutments 10, 11, the board more or is less pretensioned or bent.

16 vorzuspannen.4 shows that, for example, at least one of the abutments 10 can be fastened in a slide-like guide 10 'on the board, with the abutment 10 in the guide 10' being able to be displaced by means of a suitable adjusting device (for example also a threaded rod), instead of the adjusting nut 14 (which would have to be replaced by a fixed stop) to prestress the spring and damping element 15 or 16.

Fig. 5 shows purely schematically another adjusting means in the form of an eccentric 37, which can bear against a fixed stop 38 (instead of adjusting nut 14) on the rod 12 and move it. The eccentric 37 should be lockable in the various angular positions in a manner known to those skilled in the art.

18'), wobei das eine Ende der Druckstange in der Bohrung 17' zudem längsverschieblich ist).6 of the drawing shows a particularly advantageous embodiment of the subject matter of the invention. Between the two abutments 17 and 18, a three-part push rod 19 ', 19' ', 19' '' is rotatably mounted (in the bores 17 'and 18'), wherein one end of the push rod in the bore 17 'is also longitudinally displaceable ).

Die Stellung des Stiftes 24 im Schlitz 25 zeigt auch gleichzeitig die Federvorspannung an.The stop 20, against which the compression spring 21 rests at one end, is seated on the section 19 'of the push rod which is designed as a threaded rod. The other end of the compression spring 21 lies against the end cover 23 of a tube 22 surrounding the pressure rod 19 '. This tube 22 rests on the abutment 17 and ensures that the two abutments 17, 18 are pushed apart to a greater or lesser extent depending on the tension of the spring 21 (the spring naturally also absorbs changing forces during operation of the snowboard, but without them significantly) to dampen). The displaceable stop 20 has a threaded bore and is seated on the thread of the push rod section 19 '. The stop (threaded sleeve) 20 is guided in a longitudinal slot 25 of the tube 22 via a radially projecting pin 24, so that by turning the threaded rod 19 while holding the tube 22, the stop 20 can be adjusted (and thus the spring preload). The position of the pin 24 in the slot 25 also indicates the spring preload.

The section 19 '' of the push rod 19 which is rotatably connected to the sections 19 'and 19' '' (section 19 'is rotatably inserted into section 19' ', while section 19' 'is formed in one piece or screwed to section 19' '') serves as a support for an attenuator. This works as follows: A rubber element 29 is inserted between a shoulder 26 and a threaded sleeve 28 placed on a thread 27, the shoulder 26 and the rubber element 29 lying inside the cylindrical tube 22. By tightening the threaded sleeve 28 to a greater or lesser extent, the rubber element 29 is expanded to a greater or lesser extent and pressed against the inner wall of the tube 22, which exerts a damping effect due to friction as soon as the push rod 19 moves in the longitudinal direction to the tube 22. The threaded sleeve 28 seated on the thread 27 of the push rod section 19 ″ likewise penetrates into the tube 22 at one end and has a diameter corresponding to the tube 22.

The last section 19 '' 'of the push rod is greatly expanded in diameter (corresponding to the diameter of the tube 22) and has a corrugated surface. Thus, the pretension of the compression spring 21 can be set by turning the push rod while holding the tube 22 at the same time. It may make sense to loosen the threaded sleeve 28 for this adjustment process and then tighten it again in order to regulate the desired damping.
