Description

  • La présente invention concerne un dispositif de fermeture étanche d'une boîte et une boîte munie de ce dispositif de fermeture.
  • On connaît déjà dans l'état de la technique, par exemple d'après FR-A-2 249 811, un dispositif de fermeture étanche d'une boîte, du type comprenant une feuille d'obturation d'une ouverture de la boîte, fabriquée dans un matériau composite comprenant une feuille de métal revêtue d'une couche de polymère thermosoudable sur la boîte, fixée par une ligne de soudure sur le bord de l'ouverture, le bord de la feuille d'obturation dépassant au delà de la ligne de soudure.
  • Ce type de dispositif garantit non seulement une fermeture étanche de la boîte mais également une inviolabilité de cette boîte, ce qui est particulièrement recherché lorsque la boîte contient des produits alimentaires.
  • Habituellement, l'ouverture de la boîte se fait en crevant la feuille d'obturation ou bien en enlevant celle-ci par arrachage.
  • Cependant la crevaison ou l'arrachage de la feuille d'obturation laisse subsister des morceaux de cette feuille accroches au bord de l'ouverture de la boîte, ces morceaux étant inesthétiques, pouvant gêner l'accès à l'intérieur de la boîte ou bien blesser l'utilisateur.
  • L'invention a pour but de permettre un arrachage complet de la feuille d'obturation de manière à ne laisser aucun morceau de cette feuille accroché sur le bord de l'ouverture de la boîte.
  • A cet effet l'invention a pour objet un dispositif de fermeture étanche d'une boîte du type précité, caractérisé en ce que la totalité de la feuille d'obturation est séparable du bord de l'ouverture par arrachage au niveau de la ligne de soudure, le bord entier de la feuille d'obturation comportant une surépaisseur de renforcement permettant d'éviter le déchirement de la feuille d'obturation lorsque l'on exerce un effort d'arrachage au niveau de la ligne de soudure.
  • Suivant d'autres caractéristiques de l'invention:
    • la surépaisseur est formée par un pli du bord de la feuille d'obturation, la couche de polymère s'étendant à l'intérieur du pli et la feuille de métal s'étendant à l'extérieur du pli ;
    • la feuille d'obturation comporte une languette d'arrachage prolongeant le bord de cette feuille ;
    • la feuille d'obturation comporte une feuille d'aluminium revêtue d'une couche de polyéthylène.
  • L'invention a également pour objet une boîte comportant un dispositif de fermeture étanche tel que défini ci-dessus.
  • Suivant une autre caractéristique de cette boîte, celle-ci est fabriquée en tôle métallique.
  • Un exemple de réalisation de l'invention sera décrit ci-dessous en se référant aux dessins annexés dans lesquels:
    • la figure 1 est une vue de face d'une boîte, munie d'un dispositif de fermeture étanche selon l'invention, cette figure représentant un corps et un couvercle séparés l'un de l'autre, avec des arrachements ;
    • la figure 2 est une vue de dessus du corps de la boîte de la figure 1 ;
    • la figure 3 est une vue en coupe, à échelle agrandie, selon la ligne 3-3 de la figure 2 ;
    • la figure 4 est une vue en coupe, à échelle agrandie, selon la ligne 4-4 de la figure 2.
  • On a représenté sur la figure 1 une boîte destinée par exemple à contenir des produits alimentaires sous forme particulaire, désignée par la référence générale 10.
  • De façon classique, cette boîte est fabriquée en tôle métallique et comporte un corps 12 délimité par une paroi latérale 14, de contour octogonal, s'étendant entre un fond (non représenté sur les figures) et une ouverture 16 formant le dessus du corps 12.
  • L'ouverture 16 est destinée à être fermée, d'une part par un couvercle 18 destiné à être emboîté de façon amovible sur le dessus du corps 12, et d'autre part par un dispositif de fermeture étanche 20 selon l'invention.
  • En se référant à la figure 2, on voit que ce dispositif de fermeture 20 comporte une feuille d'obturation 22 délimitée par un contour octogonal, de dimensions sensiblement supérieures à celles de l'ouverture 16 de manière à dépasser tout autour de cette ouverture 16.
  • En se référant aux figures 3 et 4, on voit que la feuille d'obturation 22 est fabriquée dans un matériau composite comprenant une feuille d'aluminium 24 revêtue d'une couche de polyéthylène 26 thermosoudable sur la boîte 10.
  • La feuille d'obturation 22 est fixée par une ligne de soudure 28 sur le bord de l'ouverture 16 délimité par un bord roulé 30 prolongeant l'extrémité supérieure de la paroi latérale 14 vers l'intérieur du corps 12 de la boîte.
  • La ligne de soudure 28 est réalisée par des moyens connus provoquant la fusion du polyéthylène et l'adhérence de celui-ci sur le bord 30.
  • Le bord de la feuille d'obturation 22 dépasse au delà de la ligne de soudure 28 et comporte une surépaisseur 32 de renforcement de cette feuille 22.
  • De préférence, la surépaisseur 32 est formée par un pli du bord de la feuille d'obturation 22 de manière que la couche de polyéthylène s'étende à l'intérieur du pli 32 et que la feuille d'aluminium s'étende à l'extérieur de ce pli 32. De cette façon, les parties jointives du pli 32 sont maintenues l'une contre l'autre par fusion du polyéthylène lors du soudage de la feuille 22 sur le bord roulé 30.
  • En variante, le pli 32 peut être remplacé par une bande en matériau composite, analogue au matériau de la feuille d'obturation 22, rapportée par soudage sur le bord de cette feuille d'obturation 22.
  • En se référant aux figures 2 et 4, on voit que la feuille d'obturation 22 comporte également une languette d'arrachage 34 prolongeant le bord de cette feuille 22.
  • Sur ces figures, on a représenté en trait fort la languette d'arrachage 34 en position rabattue contre la paroi latérale 14 du corps de boîte, telle que cette languette 34 est présentée lorsque la boîte 12 est proposée à la vente, et en traits mixtes dans une position écartée de la paroi latérale 14 permettant l'arrachage de la feuille d'obturation 22.
  • L'enlèvement de la feuille d'obturation 22 se fait donc tout simplement, après ouverture du couvercle 18, en soulevant la languette 34 de manière à l'écarter du corps de boîte, puis en tirant sur cette languette 34 de manière à arracher la feuille d'obturation 22.
  • Le pli de renforcement 32, s'étendant à la périphérie de la feuille d'obturation 22, permet d'éviter le déchirement de cette feuille 22 lorsque l'on exerce un effort d'arrachage au niveau de la ligne de soudure 28.
  • L'invention ne se limite pas au mode de réalisation décrit.
  • En particulier, la boîte 10 peut être fabriquée en plastique, dans un matériau composite comprenant du carton et de l'aluminium, ou dans tout autre matériau sur lequel la feuille d'obturation peut être thermosoudée.
  • Par ailleurs, la feuille d'obturation peut être fabriquée dans un matériau composite comprenant une feuille métallique, autre que de l'aluminium, revêtue d'un polymère, autre que le polyéthylène, thermosoudable sur la boîte.
  • L'invention comporte de nombreux avantages.
  • En particulier, le dispositif de fermeture étanche selon l'invention permet d'arracher complètement la feuille d'obturation, lors de l'ouverture de la boîte, sans laisser de morceaux accrochés sur le bord de l'ouverture de cette boîte.
  • En outre, la feuille d'obturation résiste très bien au déchirement lors de son arrachage tout en ayant une épaisseur relativement réduite.

Claims (6)

  1. Dispositif de fermeture étanche d'une boîte, du type comprenant une feuille d'obturation (22) d'une ouverture (16) de la boîte, fabriquée dans un matériau composite comprenant une feuille de métal (24) revêtue d'une couche de polymère (26) thermosoudable sur la boîte (10), fixée par une ligne de soudure (28) sur le bord (30) de l'ouverture (16), le bord de la feuille d'obturation (22) dépassant au delà de la ligne de soudure (28), caractérisé en ce que la totalité de la feuille d'obturation (22) est séparable du bord (30) de l'ouverture (16) par arrachage au niveau de la ligne de soudure (28), le bord entier de la feuille d'obturation (22) comportant une surépaisseur (32) de renforcement permettant d'éviter le déchirement de la feuille d'obturation (22) lorsque l'on exerce un effort d'arrachage au niveau de la ligne de soudure (28).
  2. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la surépaisseur est formée par un pli (32) du bord de la feuille d'obturation (22), la couche de polymère s'étendant à l'intérieur du pli (32) et la feuille de métal s'étendant à l'extérieur du pli (32).
  3. Dispositif selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que la feuille d'obturation (22) comporte une languette d'arrachage (34) prolongeant le bord de cette feuille (22).
  4. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que la feuille d'obturation (22) comporte une feuille d'aluminium (24) revêtue d'une couche de polyéthylène (26).
  5. Boîte caractérisée en ce qu'elle comporte un dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes.
  6. Boîte selon la revendication 5, caractérisée en ce qu'elle est fabriquée en tôle métallique.
