Abstract

The invention relates to a refuse container (1) which, viewed in cross-section, is of rectangular design at least in sections, especially a waste bin having a front side (4) extending in a linear manner and a similar rear side (3) and transverse sides which are made up of a wall section (a) extending in a linear manner and a wall section (b) making an arcuate transition into the latter and extending over an angle of 90@ between the front side (4) and rear side (3) and form the side walls (5) of the refuse container (1), the ends of the arcuate wall sections (b) converging on the front side (4) making a transition one into the other via a straight intermediate piece (front side 4). In order to achieve a design which is simple in terms of production engineering and advantageous in use, the invention proposes that, between two parallel and opposite sides of the rectangular section of the waste bin (1), a separating means, such as a partition (6), is arranged which extends transversely to the sides, and that a plurality of mountings (7) are designed in the sides, opposite to each other in each case, so that the division of the refuse container (1) can be altered by moving the removable partitions. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a waste container which, seen in cross section, is at least partially rectangular, in particular waste bins with a rectilinear front and the same back and transverse sides, which consist of a rectilinear wall section and an arc-shaped transition into these, over an angle of Assemble 90 ° between the front and rear wall section and form the side walls of the waste container, the converging ends of the arcuate wall sections merging into one another via a straight intermediate piece, - and between two parallel opposite sides of the rectangular section of the waste container one transverse to the Has sides extending partition, wherein in the sides, opposite each other, multiple brackets are formed on the edge of the waste container such that by moving the removable partition the division of the waste container is changeable and further brackets are formed for the partition in the bottom of the waste container.

A waste container is known from EP-A-0 194 339. It is a single waste container that can be inserted into an outer housing. One waste container is intended, for example, for collecting valuable waste and the other one for residual waste.

A waste container of the generic type is known from US-A-5 033 641, which, when viewed in cross section, is at least partially rectangular in shape and has a crosswise to the side between two parallel opposite sides of the rectangular section of the waste container Partition has. Multiple brackets are formed on the sides of the waste container, each across from the other. The division of the waste container can be changed by moving the removable partition. Additional holders for the partition are in the bottom of the waste bin. They are located in the corner transitions between the floor and the wall-forming sides of the waste bin. A relocation-proof mounting of appropriate partition walls in the lower area of the waste container is generally quite critical. Different degrees of filling and possibly different filling loads are suitable for lifting this important bottom-side binding of such mostly thin-walled partitions. Depending on the course of the arc that occurs, the bow ends in the chord plane can be so close to each other that there is an exit from the holders. In addition, the top and bottom brackets are formed on deformable, technically assignable strips. This can affect strength.

From WO-A-84/03 268 there is still the proposal to create dividing walls in a cross-lattice plug-in structure and to tie up such an insert both in multiple holders provided at the edge of the container and in holders lying in the bottom thereof. The assignment is done by means of the plug connection. However, if individual dividing walls are omitted, then a certain bendability of the dividing wall in question then results due to the unused plug-in slots.

The object of the invention is to design a generic waste bin in such a way that the partition can also be assigned or held in a functionally reliable manner on the bottom.

This object is achieved by the invention specified in claim 1.

Die Unteransprüche geben vorteilhafte Gestaltungsdetails an.The subclaims indicate advantageous design details.

As a result of such a configuration, a generic waste container or waste bin of increased utility value is achieved, with the partition wall being stably arranged. For this purpose, it is proposed that the further holders are designed as guide slots, a lower edge of the partition wall being immersed in the guide slot over a substantial portion, preferably at least one fifth of the edge length, which guide slots are formed by bulges in the bottom of the container are. Metal buckets are advantageously wart-like shapes and waste containers made by spraying are corresponding shapes. There is no need for an additional component. To produce the brackets formed on the bottom of the waste container in the same direction as the upper brackets, wall portions of the bottom are simply pressed into the interior. The edge further preferably has an angled portion, a cutout, which results in the holder, being formed both in the vertical and in the horizontal region of the angled portion. It is also preferred that an edge region, in which the holders are formed, is widened and extends, starting from a substantially uninfluenced outer outline, into the interior of the waste container. On a generic waste bin, which is further designed so that a carrying handle is provided on it, it then proves to be advantageous that the partition is essentially transverse to a connecting line by articulation points of a Carrying strap extends in the side walls of the waste container. This avoids leaving the focal point level and leaves the garbage lying in the freedom of balanced self-distribution. The focus level is retained. Consequently, when the waste bin is carried, it does not turn off. It can be worn without disabilities.

The waste container 1 shown can be set in an outer housing 2 approximately oval in plan. The space distribution of the hinged lid lockable outer housing 2 is made so that two identically designed waste containers 1 can be accommodated therein.

The waste containers 1 extend back to back on both sides of a vertical transverse division plane E-E of the vertical outer housing 2.

With the best possible use of space, the back 3 of each waste container 1 is accordingly flat. Reference is made to FIG. 4. The remaining cross section of each waste container 1 is clearly evident from said figure and also from FIG. The waste container 1 is at least partially rectangular in cross section. The rectangles are shown in Figure 4 and crossed out.

Diese Querseiten bilden spiegelsymmetrische Seitenwände 5.A front side 4 extends parallel to the rear side 3. The rear side 3 and front side 4 are connected to one another via transverse sides. These transverse sides form mirror-symmetrical side walls 5.

Der bogenförmige, konvexe Verlauf geht etwa über 90°.A view of FIG. 4 shows that the transverse sides or side walls 5 are composed of a rectilinear wall section a and an arcuate wall section b. The latter essentially follows the contour of the end arches of the oval of the outer housing 2. The arcuate, convex course extends approximately over 90 °.

In particular, it can also be seen in FIG. 4 that the edge region in which the recesses are formed is of widened design and extends from an essentially uninfluenced outer outline into the interior of the waste container.

The ends of the arcuate wall sections b converging on the front side 4 merge into one another via a straight intermediate piece, which intermediate piece forms the said front wall 4.

Die geradlinig verlaufenden Wandungsabschnitte a erstrecken sich ebenfalls parallel zueinander. The rectilinear wall sections a also extend parallel to one another.

Both these parallel wall sections a and the wall sections running parallel to one another, that is to say the rear 3 and front 4, can be used for the adjustable assignment of a partition 6. In the exemplary embodiment, however, only the back 3 and front 4 are used in this respect. By moving the partition 6, the available usable space of the waste container 1 can be divided individually in stages. For this purpose, multi-trained, position-securing brackets 7 are used. They are designed so that the partition 6 or the partition 6 can be pulled out or inserted vertically from the waste container 1. The relevant vertical securing of the partition walls 6 takes place first on an upper level, specifically at the edge 8 of the waste container 1.

Diese weiteren lagesichernden Halterungen tragen das Bezugszeichen 10.A second fixing level lies in the area of the bottom 9 of the waste container 1. These further position-securing brackets have the reference number 10.

Above, with respect to the holder 7, there are vertically oriented recesses which, in the case of an angular cross-sectional shape of the edge 8, comprise both a horizontal leg of the edge 8 and a vertical leg of the edge 8.

In the vertical, slot-like recesses, a supporting tongue 11, which clearly exceeds the clear width of the interior of the waste bin 1 measured in the direction of extension, is called the supporting shoulder 11 on the underside thereof Slit of the vertical leg (see left side in Figure 7). Their (6) insert preventing the partition 6 from tilting is particularly evident from FIGS. 3 and 4.

In the illustrated embodiment, three brackets 7 extend one behind the other like ladder rungs. Their assignment is such that the partition 6 extends essentially transversely to a connecting line x-x through articulation points 13 of a support bracket 14 in the two side walls 5 of the waste container 1. As can be seen from FIG. 4, the length of the offset option, limited by the length of the front wall 4 (seen in the transverse direction), is not fully utilized. In the area of transition corners 15 between the front wall 4 and the curved wall sections b entering it, a further holder 7 could also be realized, with a corresponding counterpart on the opposite rear side 3 of the waste container 1.

Die Verbindungslinie x-x liegt in der vertikalen Schwerpunktsebene des Abfallbehälters 1.The connecting line xx lies in the vertical center of gravity of the waste container 1.

To produce the brackets 10 formed on the bottom 9 of the waste container 1 in the same direction as the upper brackets 7, wall portions of the bottom 9 are simply pressed into the interior of the container, see FIG. 8. The indentation pattern is such that guide slots are formed which are congruent with the upper slots. The bulges which are trapezoidal in cross-section have the reference number 16. The trapezoidal outline is shown in FIG. 7. The length of the trapezoidal flanks corresponds approximately to the height of the bulge 16. The base of the trapezoids arranged in row faces the floor 9.

Die vertikale Eintauchtiefe der unteren Randkante 17 der Trennwand 6 entspricht im wesentlichen diesem Maß.The vertical immersion depth of the lower edge 17 of the partition 6 corresponds essentially to this dimension.

The width of the trapezoids is such that they practically form a continuous spacer between two partitions 6 arranged next to one another. Said bulging into the interior of the container while displacing the material of the base 9 also has a stiffening effect for the base due to the polydirectionality of wall sections of the base thereby achieved.

As can be seen in FIG. 4, the outer edge 8 'of the edge 8 also continues in a circular arc over the straight front 4 extending below it, as far as the lower horizontal leg is concerned. This creates a segment 18, in the surface area of which the supporting tongues 11 of the partition walls 6 do not extend beyond the edge.

The convex rounding of the bucket wall begins approximately at half the width measured in the direction of extension of the partition walls 6. In the transition area between a straight wall section a and a convex arc extending wall section b also extends the bottom bracket 10.

The height of the partition 6 or partition 6 set essentially corresponds to the clear height of the waste container 1; in any case, the top of the partition ends with the top of the stepped edge 8. The step is directed outwards and creates a peripheral storage channel 19 for the support bracket 14.

The hinged lid of the outer container 2 overlapping the opening of the set waste containers 1, 1 is designated by 20. It can be controlled via a pedal lever mechanism. The wall of the waste container 1 tapers inwards in the direction of the base 9 at least by an amount of demolding angle (approx. 2 °). The narrow edges of the partition 6 facing the inner wall bear against it. The partition thus also acts as an inner support strut.

The features of the invention disclosed in the above description, the drawing and the claims can be of importance both individually and in any combination for the implementation of the invention.
