- Fig. 6 shows another embodiment of the device according to the invention, in which a plurality of tubs 1 are arranged one behind the other in such a way that a downwardly bent side 20 of a tub 1 engages over the upwardly bent side 19 of an adjacent tub 1. Only the downwardly bent side 20 of the deepest tub 1 reaches over the transverse channel 21 and thus also serves to discharge pollutants from the adjacent tubs 1.
- tub groups as well as the tubs in FIGS. 4 and 5, are arranged one behind the other in such a way that they have mutually opposite angles of inclination, so that the sides 19 of two adjacent tubs 1 which are bent upward point towards one another.
- overlapping covers 22 are provided, which Compress both sides 19 folded upwards on the one hand and offer an additional seal on the other hand.
- FIG 3 shows a cross section through the entire device according to the invention. From this it can be seen that in the tubs 1.2 which are inserted between two rails 4, the tub edge is designed as a sealing edge 5 on the two sides lying opposite in the longitudinal direction of the rails 4. The size of these tubs 1.2 was chosen so that they lie taut between the two rails 4, so that the sealing edges 5 rest non-positively on the rails 4.
- the tub edge facing the rail 4 is designed as a sealing edge 5 and the other side 23, which runs in the longitudinal direction of the rail 4, is bent upwards.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for collecting liquid and / or granular pollutants in the rail area of rail vehicles with trays, which are placed between the rails on the rail bedding or other supports, a tray having a tub edge designed as a sealing edge on its side facing the rail. that reaches under the rail head.
When refueling, filling or decanting pollutants or materials containing pollutants at transfer stations, storage facilities or loading systems for industry, but also at petrol stations, locomotive parking spaces and washing areas for rail-bound vehicles, there is a risk that some of the pollutants will get into the soil directly or indirectly via the rainwater and thereby contaminates the soil and the groundwater, which causes ecologically unacceptable consequences.
To solve the problem, it is known from DE-OS 35 11 552 to place tubs on the rail bedding or other conditions in the rail area of rail vehicles. To seal such a tub from the rail, a cover profile is provided on one side, the free side of which engages over the raised adjacent tub rim. The tub itself is designed in two parts, with both tub parts being inclined towards and on a transverse channel Cross gutter have an overlapping bend. The remaining three sides of each tub part have boundary walls that are designed as upstands. The cover profile is inclined from the rail web to the adjacent tub edge.
For the attachment of the cover profile to the rail web, it is known from this laid-open document to either screw the cover profile onto the rail web or to clamp it onto it by means of suitable devices.
A disadvantage of this solution is the high installation effort, which results from the fact that the cover profiles must be attached from the underside, which is further complicated by the fact that the cover profiles are inclined downward due to their function. Only when this assembly is completely completed, the tubs can be inserted themselves, which is made more difficult by the fact that the boundary walls of the tub parts have to be brought under the cover profiles.
In addition, the attachment of the cover profiles has disadvantages, since clamping devices require a large number of components, or screwing the cover profiles directly onto the rail webs requires the introduction of screw holes, thereby reducing the load-bearing capacity of the rails.
Furthermore, a solution of the generic type is known from US Pat. No. 3,773,255, which has tubs which are placed on the rail bedding or other supports. On one side facing the rail, these troughs have an edge designed as a sealing edge, which engages under the rail head. For a secure seal, the sealing edge is provided with a profile seal that compensates for the differences between the sealing edge and the rail.
The sealing edge is formed essentially obliquely from the trough bottom in the direction of the rail.
In the direction lying transversely to the longitudinal direction of the rail, the troughs extend approximately to half of the space between the rails. There they show an upward edging. This upstand serves on the one hand to prevent pollutants from flowing out and on the other hand to secure the tubs.
The tubs are fastened by means of profile pieces, which encompass the tubs and which in turn are screwed onto the rail sleepers. A running grate is supported on these profile pieces, which finds its lateral abutment on the oblique parts of the sealing edge.
This solution has several disadvantages. On the one hand, it is not possible to use this version with concrete sleepers, since the profile pieces cannot be screwed together. It is therefore limited to use with wooden sleepers. In addition, due to their construction, the gratings are located far below the rail heads, so that they protrude from the level of the gratings, which is a considerable risk of tripping. This solution should therefore collide with occupational safety regulations.
In practice, the rails are inclined at a ratio of 1:40. When loaded, the rails are bent outwards against their inclination. This bending behavior requires that the troughs are rigidly attached to the sleepers and that the seal is detached from the rail, which means that tightness can no longer be guaranteed.
Ultimately, the assembly of such a collection system is quite complex since a large number of precisely fitting screw connections have to be produced. In addition, the entire system, for example when working on the substructure, can be completely dismantled with the same effort.
The object of the invention is therefore to provide a device for collecting liquid and / or granular pollutants to create, which can be used reliably and with little effort in the rail area of rail vehicles, which enables fast and inexpensive assembly and disassembly and which enables a secure seal even under various load conditions.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the trough is formed on the two opposite and in the longitudinal direction of the sides as a sealing edge and that the trough has such a width that it is so tight for sole attachment between the rails that the sealing edges Apply frictionally to the rails.
The object of the invention is also achieved in that the side of the trough which is arranged laterally to the rail pair and which faces away from the rail is bent upwards and that retaining webs are provided transversely to the longitudinal extent of the rail, which at least partially encompass the rail foot on the side facing away from the trough . These retaining webs extend under the rail foot, under the tub, to the tub rim facing away from the rail. The retaining webs are positively connected to this tub rim. The retaining web is dimensioned in relation to the tub so that the tub sits tightly in the holder as the sole attachment and the sealing edge is pressed non-positively against the rail.
In a favorable embodiment of the invention, supports are provided which are arranged between the underside of the sealing edge and the top of the rail foot.
It is advantageous to design the supports as wooden strips.
A particularly favorable design of the supports provides that they have a wedge-shaped cross section.
The solution according to the invention with retaining webs can experience a particularly favorable configuration in that the retaining webs on the side on which they at least partially encompass the rail foot, have an upwardly directed tab for holding the support on one side of the rail. Holding elements are provided on the side of the rail foot that faces the trough, which are connected to the holding web. These holding bars at least partially encompass the rail foot. They also have an upward tab (17) for holding the support (10) on the other side of the rail.
A particularly favorable embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the troughs are rectangular, one side of the troughs lying transversely to the longitudinal direction of the rail being bent upwards and the other downward. The side that is bent downwards is always lower in the horizontal plane compared to the side that is bent upwards and reaches over the side of an adjacent trough that is bent upward or protrudes over the edge of a transverse channel to discharge pollutants.
A particularly favorable embodiment provides that a plurality of tubs are arranged one behind the other in such a way that the upwardly bent sides of two tubs point towards one another and that a cover is provided which overlaps these two sides.
Another embodiment of the invention provides that holding elements for gratings are arranged on the top of the tub edges.
