Definitions

  • the invention relates to a ski according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such a ski is described in DE-OS 41 24 965.
  • the binding plate lies directly on the damping layer, so that in the case of ski deflections, the movements of the ski binding relative to the top of the ski are set relatively narrow limits.
  • a similar ski is described in US Pat. No. 2,526,137.
  • the fastening screws of the ski binding are anchored in a plate attached to the lower flange of the ski, penetrate the ski body together with the upper flange and protrude beyond the top of the ski.
  • a ski binding with its base plate can be attached to these screw ends.
  • At least one damping layer is built into the ski body. This dampens the vibrations that occur in the ski body.
  • EP-B1 0 104 185 shows a ski in which a layer of elastomeric material is arranged on the upper side of the ski in the area of the ski binding and is covered by a metal plate.
  • a front jaw and a heel holder are attached to the latter, the metal plate making a relative movement with respect to the ski when passing through depressions.
  • the metal plate is screwed to the ski at one end, while the other end is slidably mounted. The plate can thus move in the longitudinal direction of the ski. This end of the plate is covered by a cap.
  • this embodiment is weighty and labor-intensive and costly to manufacture.
  • a block of foam rubber is arranged on the upper side thereof in the area of the ski binding, which block is covered by a plate carrying the ski binding.
  • the latter has support plates at both ends, which run parallel to the top of the ski and are attached to it with the interposition of rubber blocks.
  • the block made of foam rubber is primarily used to prevent the ingress of snow and not to dampen the vibrations of the ski body in the longitudinal direction of the ski.
  • DE-OS 2 259 375 describes a ski in which, in the area of the ski binding, a gusset-shaped foam pad is arranged beneath it, the top and bottom of which are covered by two leaf springs.
  • the two leaf springs are connected to each other at their two ends by a joint.
  • the ski binding itself is attached to the upper leaf spring. In the unloaded state, the distance between the two arched leaf springs is limited by an adjusting screw. If the skier gets into the binding, both leaf springs are pressed together and run approximately parallel to the top of the ski.
  • a damping of the vibrations occurring is achieved by the foam cushion, but this damping is low, since the cushion is in a compressed state during the journey, in which the damping is reduced.
  • FR-OS 2,672,505 does not disclose a socket in FIGS. 5 and 5a to be considered in more detail, so that there is already a generic difference with respect to this document.
  • the invention has for its object to eliminate the shortcomings of the known designs and to create a ski, the structure of which can be of any type and which nevertheless has good damping of the vibrations occurring during the journey in the ski body.
  • the measure of claim 2 does not increase the ski preload when driving through a trough or humps, and it also enables an unimpeded spring back of the ski in the opposite direction.
  • claim 3 increases the damping capacity of the vibrations of the ski occurring in the longitudinal direction of the ski.
  • the relative movement between the ski binding and the ski is facilitated.
  • the measure of claim 6 reduces the friction between the cover plate and the top of the ski.
  • the object of claim 7 has the task of a certain change in the bias of the ski, if such is desired to bring about. It is made possible by the features of claim 8 in a structurally particularly simple manner to set the bias of the damping device and thus the ski between predetermined limits. Due to the features of claims 9 and 10, the total weight of the ski can be reduced.
  • FIG.1 shows a section along the line I - I in Fig.2
  • Fig.2 shows a section along the line II - II in Fig.1 of the first embodiment.
  • Figure 3 illustrates a detail of the sliding guide of the cover plate on a larger scale in a vertical longitudinal central section through the cover plate.
  • 4 shows a further embodiment similar to FIG. 1
  • FIG. 5 shows an additional embodiment similar to FIG. 2.
  • 6 is a cross section through a variant of the cover plate
  • FIGS. 1 and 2 denotes a ski on which a damping layer 2 made of a rubber-elastic material is arranged.
  • This damping layer 2 is protected on the outside by means of a cover plate 3 which is attached to the ski 1 at one end 3a by means of fastening screws 4.
  • the other end 3b of the cover plate 3 is slidably mounted with respect to the ski 1 and secured against lifting off the ski 1 by means of a hold-down 5 screwed onto the ski 1.
  • the cover plate 3 and the damping layer 2 can be extended in relation to the two base plates 6 and 7 at least on one side, preferably over the base plate 7 towards the ski tip.
  • the cover plate 3 is secured on the one hand against lifting up by the base plates 6 and 7 of the ski binding parts and on the other hand against displacement of the cover plate 3 transversely to the longitudinal direction of the ski through the bushings 8.
  • the cover plate 23 is divided in its central section in the transverse direction, the two plate sections 23d, 23e being firmly connected to the ski 1 at the ends 23f, 23g facing one another.
  • the further structure of the cover plate 23 corresponds to that already described.
  • a plate 11 made of a material with good sliding properties e.g. made of polytetrafluoroethylene (known inter alia under the brand name "Teflon") or the end of the cover plate 3 is coated with such a material.
  • a body 12 made of rubber-elastic material can be assigned to the slidably guided end 3b of the cover plate 3, which is supported on the one hand on a transverse wall 3h of the cover plate 3 and on the other hand on a piston 10.
  • This piston 10 carries a threaded spindle 14 which is screw-mounted in a ski-fixed abutment 13.
  • the abutment 13 is formed in one piece with the hold-down device 5.
  • a further measure that is essential to the invention is that the cover plate 33 has in its upper height section transverse stepping ribs 33i which lie in the transverse direction of the cover plate 33 and which lie on the damping layer 32 and form cells 33j therewith.
  • This allows the total weight of the ski 33 to be reduced, but only a relatively small loss of damping has to be accepted, since the cells 33j also contribute to the damping of the ski 31.
  • This sandwich construction is illustrated in Fig.5.
  • Fig. 6 shows this variant.
  • a plate made of a material with good sliding properties is arranged not only between the base plate of the ski binding part and the cover plate, if appropriate also between the free end of the cover plate and a hold-down device, or that one of these surfaces is arranged to reduce undesirable frictional forces is coated with such a material.
  • a similar measure can also be provided between other components which are designed as sliding bodies.
  • an eccentric can also be used for the longitudinal adjustment of the body made of rubber-elastic material, which is rotatably mounted on a vertical axis in the abutment.
  • the abutment can also be designed as a separate component from the hold-down device and can be attached to the latter, for example by screws.
  • the damping layer can only be provided with bores in the area of the bushings passing through it be so that a certain damping is also installed for the cover plate.
  • the course of the ribs according to FIG. 5, similar to that shown in FIG. 6, can run in the longitudinal direction of the cover plate; or the grooves according to FIG. 6, similar to that shown in FIG. 5, can run in the transverse direction of the cover plate.
