Definitions
- the invention relates to an infiltration tube for introducing an insulating liquid into masonry to be sealed.
- the perforated tubes and injection bolts have not proven themselves, since they usually let the liquid through too quickly for large perforations, but are easily blocked for small perforations, so that there is uneven liquid delivery.
- the impregnated fabric hoses also tend to release uneven, uncontrollable liquids, especially when used several times, because their porosity is not or remains constant due to fluctuating fabric density (mesh size) and partial clogging.
- the fabric hoses are also repeatedly pressed together by loose masonry parts, which is why the insulating liquid cannot reach the end of the blind hole.
- the aim of the invention is to eliminate the disadvantages mentioned, that is to say to create an infiltration tube which ensures a uniform liquid delivery in a flow rate which can be adapted to the absorbency of the masonry and is designed for one-time use.
- an infiltration tube which is characterized by an inner layer made of absorbent cardboard, an intermediate layer made of filter paper and a cover layer made of absorbent cardboard, which are connected with a liquid-resistant but liquid-permeable adhesive.
- the three-layer structure made of cellulose material guarantees on the one hand optimal (i.e. temporally and spatially uniform, fine-pored) liquid delivery to the masonry, on the other hand sufficient strength of the pipes when applied in the blind holes.
- the properties of the infiltration tube can be adapted to the absorbency of the masonry by appropriate selection of materials.
- the pulp material is also relatively inexpensive, which is why it is economically justifiable to use the infiltration tubes only once.
- the infiltration tubes can therefore be left in the blind holes after the insulating liquid has been introduced. Appropriately, they are chosen so that they are stable during the infiltration process, but then (more or less) dissolve (and rot). In any case, there is no environmental impact.
- the top layer of the infiltration tube is swellable. Then namely An infiltration tube with a smaller outside diameter can be introduced, which only fits well against the bore wall when it is filled with the insulating liquid, thus ensuring favorable diffusion conditions for the insulating liquid.
- the intermediate layer of filter paper has at least three layers with graded porosity, the outer layers being more porous than the inner one.
- each infiltration tube is closed on one side with a stopper. This should preferably taper to make it easier to insert the tube.
- An infiltration tube of approx. 2 meters in length and an outer diameter of 18 mm is produced by winding up a cardboard inner layer, a filter paper layer and a swellable cardboard cover layer on a mandrel with a diameter of 10 to 15 mm. Gluing is carried out with a liquid-resistant but liquid-permeable adhesive, which is selected so that the tube is liquid-resistant only during the usual infiltration period (e.g. approx. 2 days), but then dissolves.
- a liquid-resistant but liquid-permeable adhesive which is selected so that the tube is liquid-resistant only during the usual infiltration period (e.g. approx. 2 days), but then dissolves.
- blind bores with a diameter of 20 mm are drilled at intervals of 100 to 150 mm, into which are subsequently the infiltration tubes are introduced. Then the infiltration tubes are connected to the insulating liquid supply. After performing the infiltration and the resulting sealing of the masonry, the infiltration pipes are left in the blind holes without any further measures.
