Abstract

Described is a textile floor covering with mutually interconnected sphere-shaped fibre aggregates (modules) consisting of spherically entwined textile fibres, wherein the fibre aggregates are connected to one another and to the floor by a single binder. The floor covering is produced by laying a layer of spherically entwined, sphere-shaped fibre aggregates of textile fibres on the floor to be covered and securing the layer to the floor with a binder. This results in a floor covering which, compared with existing coverings, is less costly to produce and simpler to lay, but which, on the other hand, has the same structural and colouring possibilities as a carpet consisting of spherical yarns. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a method for producing a Textile flooring according to the preamble of claim 1 and a floor covering made by this method.

Stand der TechnikState of the art

A floor covering with spherically entangled, textile Fibers existing spherical fiber aggregates that intertwine are connected is e.g. known from EP-A-0013428. There a floor covering, a needled carpet is described, that of individual spherical fiber aggregates, so-called Ball yarn, which consists of textile fibers into a fiber ball are spherically involved (see also EP-A-0013427). This Ball yarns are according to EP-A-0013428 by needling among themselves connected to a track, moreover this can Web needled onto a backing layer, which in turn itself can have an underlayer. These floorings will be in the manufacturing phase at least on their factory Back or impregnated with a binder from the back or slipped from the back with latex, so that the fibers of the floor covering are firmly bound in this and the floor covering has a high pilling resistance.

Only needled, not further consolidated floor coverings wear out very quickly when used because the individual Fibers from those exerted on the surface of the floor covering Frictional forces are extractable.

A finished, needled web can be used as a floor covering on a floor to be covered with another binder, like glue or the like. With normal gluing a known generic floor covering is used as little glue as possible, only the one that is firmly attached to itself Floor covering adheres to the floor to be covered, however no further binding of the fibers in the floor covering causes. This is also usually not possible because of the back of the floor covering is usually closed by the binder and nothing can penetrate.

Such a floor covering can also be laid loosely.

So that such a floor covering is sufficient by the customer has the desired quality, it must be very stable be. It should also have a mechanical damping effect. Such a Flooring therefore has a certain minimum thickness, what affects material costs.

A so-called stone wood floor is also known from a mixture of ground magnesia, fillers, such as Sawdust, cork shot, and magnesium chloride as a binder. This mixture is applied to a sub-floor and binds from there. You get a good thermal insulation floor, the however, both in terms of color and structure is uniform.

Problemproblem

The invention has for its object a generic Process and a floor covering made with it create, the floor covering compared to the known coverings less expensive to manufacture and easier to install is, on the other hand, the same structural and color options, such as one made of ball yarns Carpet.

Erfindunginvention

This object is achieved by the one described in claim 1 Invention solved. The manufacturing method according to the invention a floor covering with spherically entangled, textile Fibers existing spherical fiber aggregates that intertwine are connected, characterized in that a sheet-like layer of spherically entangled, spherical Fiber aggregates made of textile fibers, on those to be covered Floor is laid and the layer with a pourable and setting binder is attached to the floor.

The textile flooring according to claim 16 with spherical entangled spherical fiber aggregates consisting of textile fibers that are connected with each other is characterized by it from that the fiber aggregates by a single pourable and tied trusses with each other and with the floor are connected.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention the spherical fiber aggregates by needling together connected to a web-shaped layer that is in itself has a certain cohesion.

In one embodiment of the invention, the fiber aggregates are completely from the binder, e.g. enclosed in a synthetic resin, so that all of the fibers are fully bound in the binder and the top of the floor covering is only a binder having. If the binder is transparent, the textile can Character still seen through the truss, but not be felt.

In an alternative embodiment, the fiber aggregates protrude at the top of the floor covering over the mass of the Binders such as the synthetic resin. In this embodiment the textile character of the floor covering is retained.

While previously with textile floor coverings, this before laying and sticking to a floor entirely in the factory were now proposed, the textile flooring ready to manufacture only at the place of installation. This can be carried out according to the method of claim 5 in that a sheet-like layer of spherically entangled, spherical Fiber aggregates made of textile fibers, on those to be covered Floor is laid and the layer with a pourable and setting binder is attached to the floor.

You use far more binders than conventional ones Attach one already solidified with another binder Flooring, which is saved.

The sheet-like layer is according to a preferred one Embodiment of needled and interconnected spherical fiber aggregates manufactured in the factory becomes. In contrast to the previous flooring production however, this web is not strengthened with a binder in the factory.

According to one embodiment of the method, before Cover the floor with the fiber aggregates a binder on the Soil is distributed. The web is formed into this truss Layer.

Alternatively, but also in addition, a binder is placed over the laid layer of spherically entangled, spherical fiber aggregates poured and evenly over the laid Distributed, whereupon the truss penetrates into it and the Path penetrates.

In both alternatives, the binder is evenly over the laid layer is distributed, penetrating into it and penetrates them.

In a third alternative, a previously made one Mixture of a binder and a multitude of individual ones spherically entangled, spherical fiber aggregates made of textiles Fibers applied to the floor to be covered and is evenly distributed. So here is the truss with the Fiber aggregates are mixed on the ground before pouring. According to one embodiment of the invention, the mixture from different fiber aggregates in the binder unevenly distributed.

A transparent synthetic resin is preferably used as the binder used so that the fiber aggregates in the finished flooring are visible.

Especially when the binder completes the fiber aggregates covered, the not yet set binder mass is replenished poured onto the floor smoothed so that a smooth flooring is obtained.

The binder composition which has not yet set is expediently used after pouring onto the floor by squeegees evenly distributed.

Furthermore, the binder mass that has not yet set after pouring onto the floor evenly distributed by rolling be, in particular the binder mass by the fiber aggregates is pushed through.

But it can also be the binder mass that has not yet set after pouring on the floor, shaped by rolling and in particular be distributed unevenly, in particular the Binder mass is pressed through the fiber aggregates.

According to a further embodiment, the binder mass before mixing with the fiber aggregates or before application colored on the layer.

Additionally or alternatively, the fibers of the fiber aggregates can be colored and in particular different colors Fibers are used.

According to one embodiment, a casting compound, such as epoxy resin.

A textile floor covering 1 consists of a web-shaped Layer 5 consisting of spherically entangled, textile fibers spherical fiber aggregates 3, the layer is not only fastened to the base 2 by means of a binder 4, but through this binder 4 also the web-shaped layer 5 in is solidified.

The web-shaped layer 5 can be a web of one another needled fiber aggregates 3, which are laid out on the bottom 2 but it can also come about as a result be that individual fiber aggregates 3 distributed over the floor 2 were (see Figure 1). This layer is then covered with the binder 4 poured, which penetrates into the layer and penetrates it.

Alternatively, a previously prepared mixture of Binder 4 and fiber aggregates 3 evenly distributed on the floor 2 have been.

Faserenden aus dem Binder 4 hervor (Fig. 2).Depending on the amount of binder 4 used and its consistency remains the surface of the floor covering 1 after pouring of the binder 4 free of it, i.e. there are individual fibers or fiber ends from the binder 4 (Fig. 2).

This can also be achieved in that the binder 4th is first poured onto the floor 2 and in this binder 4 the web-shaped layer of fiber aggregates is placed, whereupon the binder 4 penetrates from below into the sheet-like layer.

A sheet-like layer 5 can be seen from FIG. in which the fiber aggregates 3 were previously needled together, whereby individual needled fibers 6 were drawn. The Density of the needled fibers 6 and also the fiber aggregates however, much larger than can be shown here.

Such a floor covering 1 can be easily and economically Fasten truss 4 on a floor, with the floor covering additionally is solidified.

This new flooring is therefore one non-woven textile flooring, a so-called nonwoven flooring, which is manufactured using a special process.

A stationary base, e.g. of the Screed in a building, but also a so-called Raised floor plate can be used. In the latter case, you can also individual plates made in a kind of carpet tile that will later be assembled into a closed surface become.
