Abstract

In the case of a dishwashing machine for trays loaded with dishes, with a separating station having a turning device, with an entry and delivery station and with a washing station, provision is made for the feeding conveyor to be a transverse conveyor belt (37) with a corner transfer device (39). In addition, the inner conveyor belt (1) of the turning conveyor is a grid belt which has an eccentric orbit, substantially pear-shaped in the carrying-off direction, and which is path-guided at its outer edge. The outer belt (2) is designed as a double chain conveyor belt, the inner and outer strands of which are spaced substantially parallel to one another and to the turning semicircle and are path-guided. The take-off belts (24, 25, 26) are present in the same number as articles to be washed (20, 21, 22) of different dimensions. Lastly, in the washing station (III) washing conveyor belts (44, 45, 46) are provided in a vertical arrangement parallel one above the other in such a way that they cooperate in each case with one of the take-off belts and convey the article to be washed, in laid-flat position, on through the washing, flushing and drying zones. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a dishwasher for trays loaded with dishes, such as those used in self-service restaurants, company canteens and other large canteens or restaurants.

Such a system is known from DE-PS 34 13 480, in which a dishwasher with a feeding, a turning, sorting and clearing device and the passage of the laundry on belts through the dishwasher part of the system is described. The short side of the trays with the crockery lying on them are introduced into the axis of the turning device (transverse arrangement). This turning and sorting device consists of a turning drum, over which a conveyor belt is guided, which has outwardly pointing finger links, which engage in the dishes supplied. The turning semicircle of the inner conveyor belt is encompassed by a strand of a counter-holder belt so that it holds the loaded trays inserted between the two belts against the fingers of the inner conveyor belt. Slightly offset from the upper vertex of the turning semicircle or the turning drum, a tray conveyor is set back in the direction of the dishwasher part so that it is connected to the conveyor belt on which the items to be washed turned by 180 ° on the phalanges are placed in a horizontal position, the trays are lifted off and are guided essentially horizontally through the dishwasher part. The inner conveyor belt in the turning device is pulled at its opposite end so far in the removal direction that the crockery parts lying flat on the fingers of its upper run are conveyed through the entire dishwasher part at a slightly sloping angle.

If the loaded trays are entered by the loading conveyor just below the turning drum, from an area in which the outer counter-holding belt and the inner conveyor belt rest on each other without a fixed distance from one another, jamming and damage to the trays due to the driving force of the two belts can occur and the dishes take place. Furthermore, it is rather disadvantageous that, on the one hand, the relatively long conveyor belt equipped with phalanxes and, on the other hand, the tray conveyor continuously run through the dishwasher part, where they are exposed to great heat and the action of very aggressive detergents. As a result, the fingers of the inner conveyor belt and tableware conveyor belt suffer to a great extent, the service life of which is consequently very short. Also, by passing all the dishes with the aid of the belt equipped with finger links, the feed speed can only be relatively low, unless the dishwasher part has a relatively long length, which in turn has a negative effect due to the high space requirement.

From DE-PS 24 43 651 a clearing device for used dishes is known, which has a device part for feeding, turning and sorting the laundry. It is a clearing drum with a horizontal axis radially positioned, elastic driver fingers attached to the drum, on which a plurality of stationary, curved rails face each other, which form a turning channel with the drum surface. Seen in the running direction of the clearing drum, behind the upper end of the turning channel, discharge devices in the form of slides, belts or the like are provided in order to discharge the trays arriving in a more convenient, reversible position in terms of dishwashing technology, separately from the crockery parts, transversely to the direction of rotation of the turning drum into washing devices which are not described. A complete system, which may have a space-saving overall arrangement, as well as a possible prewash cycle is not described.

Furthermore, EP 0 292 773 A2 (88 107 486.8) discloses a clearing system for used food trays, in which a turning drum with radial driver fingers, together with stationary, curved rails, also form a turning channel for the laundry, with axial flushing nozzles in the turning channel Prewashing is provided. The trays are removed by means of a tray belt, which in the initial section guides the trays diagonally upward and then further horizontally into and through a dishwasher. The crockery parts are placed obliquely downwards on a dishwasher conveyor belt via a slide underneath, which acts on the further prewash nozzles, which feeds the crockery parts to the dishwasher in a flat support position; a singular transport device is assigned to the lower feed chute, which clocks the crockery parts onto the dishwasher belt. How it is continued in the dishwasher is not described. The separating acceptance part of this known device is relatively complex and requires a relatively large amount of space in the longitudinal direction of the device.

A larger overall height is also required due to the fact that the trays are initially transported diagonally upwards. A fully automatic dishwashing system for dish trays is also known, in which the loaded trays are transported into a turning device via a roller feed path and are introduced into their turning channel between an inner and an outer conveyor belt. The outer conveyor belt, which is track-guided with both runs parallel to one another and at the level of the turning semicircle parallel to the likewise guided internal belt, is pulled up with one end essentially to the apex of the turning semicircle, while the other end ends in a horizontal inlet part. The inner band web is slightly pear-shaped and has holding / entraining rods that protrude outwards. The inner belt is designed as a mesh belt so that the wash load can be rinsed from the inside while turning. The trays and crockery parts are taken over by the turning and sorting belts from the turning device and delivered to three further belts running transversely to the feeding, turning and removing direction. Trays and plates are then transported in a vertical arrangement through a dishwasher, while the trays pass through another dishwasher arranged in parallel. It can be seen that a very complex and extremely space-consuming system is used here, which cannot be used in commercial kitchens with less space.

The invention is therefore based on the object to improve the device of the type mentioned in such a way that a compact, robust system with great performance, long service life and low space requirement is created.

This object is achieved by a dishwasher with the features of Claim 1 solved. Advantageous developments and further developments of the subject matter of the invention are described in the subclaims.

Accordingly, the dishwasher system according to the invention, which essentially consists of a separating station, an outfeed and infeed station, a washing, rinsing and drying station and an outfeed station, has a loading conveyor which is a cross conveyor belt with a corner converter. This has the advantage that the dish trays can be fed transversely into the system, so that in the actual washing, rinsing and drying station the active washing height can be substantially increased.

It is also essential to the invention that as many discharge belts are arranged vertically one above the other as items to be washed (eg trays, plates, bowls) of different external transverse dimensions have to be transported. In addition, in the washing, rinsing and drying station, washing conveyor belts, each cooperating with one of the discharge sorting belts and lying flat, are carried in a superimposed parallel arrangement until the separate end parts are discharged. This has the great advantage that only a single washing, rinsing and drying tunnel is required for the entire laundry, for example trays, plates and bowls, in which the sorted trays and dishes are arranged vertically one above the other and at the same time parallel to one another through the washing, rinsing and drying stations. This saves a lot of space in the transverse direction of the system, since only one and not two or more washing tunnels or dishwashers arranged side by side are used. Due to the flat arrangement of the items to be washed on the washing belts which are arranged vertically one above the other and run parallel to one another there is often the possibility of arranging these tapes one above the other in a space-saving arrangement in such a way that relatively little overall height is required and nevertheless a very good washing, rinsing and drying treatment is possible.

It is advantageous if the inner turning belt is designed as a grid belt which has an orbital eccentric orbital shape which is essentially pear-shaped in the direction of removal. The grid belt is continuously guided on its outer edge, radial nozzles acting through it being provided for prewashing the items to be washed along the turning semicircle. This has the great advantage that the inner turning belt is relatively short and space-saving and arranged. Due to the reduced length of the inner band, and in particular that the inner band is not also passed through the washing, rinsing and drying system with high temperatures and aggressive agents, a long lifespan of the band, which is not a cost in its purchase just cheap part is reached. The design of the inner belt as a mesh belt also gives the possibility of prewashing the items to be washed past, in particular via radial nozzles. The items to be washed, which are fed into the actual dishwasher, are thus already freed from the coarsest soiling, which makes the washing station simple and shorter. The outer turning belt is designed as a chain conveyor belt, in which the inner and outer centers are spaced apart from one another in a substantially parallel manner, and at the same time are parallel to one another at a distance from the inner belt, forming a turning channel with the latter. Since the inner and outer belts run synchronously and exactly spaced along the turning semicircle, optimal feeding and turning properties are ensured. It is advantageous if the outer belt is equipped with tray drivers arranged on the belt side, so that the Taking the trays not only takes place via the force of the fingers of the inner band engaging in the crockery parts, but at the same time pushing or supporting the transported tray takes place. It can be of great advantage if the tray is placed from the corner converter onto the horizontal take-over part of the loading area of the outer belt in such a way that the tray is only removed by a carrier of the belt from, for example, lateral support rails and inserted into the turning semicircle.

In order to build even more space-saving and at the same time achieve a safe removal of the trays and dishes from the inner belt, the outer belt or its upper deflection roller is set back by up to 30 ° with respect to the upper vertex of the turning semicircle. As a result, the upper tray discharge belt can be drawn up to the apex of the turning semicircle, as a result of which the trays are taken over tangentially from the apex of the turning semicircle, so that more space remains for the arrangement of further discharge belts under the upper tray discharge belt.

According to a further embodiment, as already mentioned above, the first discharge belt is the tray discharge belt, which is led away horizontally tangentially from the upper vertex of the turning semicircle. As a second band, a band leading obliquely downwards, the bias band, is provided in such a way that with one end it initially takes over all other dishes of the items to be washed and interacts with the bottom washing band with its lower end. Depending on the further number of laundry items of different dimensions, a corresponding number of intermediate discharge belts are provided, which are arranged essentially horizontally and each with one of the Intermediate washing tapes work together. For example, if there are three items to be washed, such as a tray, plate and salad bowls, an upper horizontal tray belt, a bias belt that transfers the salad bowls to the lower washing belt and a horizontal intermediate or central belt that removes the plates from the bias belt and the intermediate -Washer belt passes. Depending on the number of items to be washed, the same number of discharge belts and the same number of washing belts are therefore provided.

In a further development of the concept of the invention, from the upper apex of the turning semicircle, after removal of the trays by the upper horizontal discharge belt, bevels leading to the bias tape on both sides can be provided, which push the dishes onto the downward bias bias tape so that at least the larger plates are relatively centered and the bowls or Small parts rest securely on the narrow bias tape. It is of great advantage if the inclined discharge belt has an anti-slip design on the outside of the belt carrying the dishes. This can consist of differently shaped profiles or elevations such as transverse beads, knobs, etc. In order to prevent slipping both in the downward transport direction and a lateral sliding off the belt, it is also advantageous if, in the case of grooves or ridges, they have a V arrangement such that the V points with the tip in the downward transport direction.

However, there is also the possibility that the inclined discharge belt in its first part, that is, up to the beginning of one of the subsequent intermediate discharge belts, is designed as a discharge chute which has lateral guide walls which in the overflow part lead to the inclined belt as inwardly leading bevels are trained. It can be seen that it only makes sense to move the discharge chute up to a first one Intermediate conveyor to lead, otherwise there is too long an acceleration distance for the dishes.

It is also particularly advantageous if the horizontal discharge belts are all designed as chain conveyor belts. This results in a light, open construction which is favorable for the removal of the pre-rinsed, dripping wet items and also has a long service life and low susceptibility to failure. Overall cleaning of the system is also facilitated by this embodiment.

Furthermore, it is effective if the feed conveyor is a driven roller conveyor that feeds the trays in the transverse direction of the system or in the axial direction of the turning device and if a tablet insertion belt, which is arranged between the last rollers of the feed conveyor and is effective in the same direction as the outer belt, is provided as a corner converter is. It is advantageous if the feed roller conveyor has an end stop on the longitudinal side at its transport end, that is to say for the trays arriving with its narrow side at the front. This end stop is coordinated with the arrangement of the rear side guide of the outer belt in the direction of transport, so that an exact pushing or pushing of the outer belt onto the chain conveyor is achieved. The tablet insertion belt is arranged in relation to the end stop between the conveyor rollers in such a way that it engages in the middle of the long side of the tray and pushes it in. A safe, parallel insertion of the loaded trays can be achieved if either the insertion belt itself and the driver are designed to be somewhat wider or at least have a wider driver in order to safely guide the tray. For this purpose, however, instead of a central belt, two belts can be provided which run synchronously with one another and whose drivers are practical At the same time, grasp one of the trays on the long side and push it off securely and perpendicular to the direction of transport.
The tablet insertion belt or the tablet insertion belts can each be equipped with one or more drivers. Of course, this depends on the belt length, the tablet insertion speed and the intervals at which the trays are inserted into the system from the roller belt.

Of course, it is particularly advantageous if the various conveyor belts, in particular the cross conveyor belt of the loading conveyor and the insertion belt, are matched in terms of the push-off frequency with the conveyor speed of the turning device up to the washing belts.

The invention is explained in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment with reference to the drawing.

In der Zeichnung zeigt:

The drawing shows:

Fig. 2
a vertical plan view according to arrow II, showing the arrangement of the discharge belts.

From Figure 1 it can be seen that the dishwasher according to the invention consists of several stations arranged one behind the other in the washing and longitudinal directions. So are a separation and prewash station I, an entry and discharge station II, a washing, rinsing and drying station III and an extension station IV is provided. In the drawing, Fig. 1, the washing, rinsing and drying station III in particular has been shown significantly shortened, so that the individual substations, for example the arrangement of two washing stations, followed by a rinsing station and a drying station, cannot be seen.

The separating and prewashing station I consists essentially of a pear-shaped, circumferential inner band 1, which is partially surrounded on its circular circumference by an outer band 2 such that a turning channel 3 with a constant cross section is formed between the inner and outer band. The outer belt 2 is basically designed as a chain conveyor belt, which is formed from two chains running parallel and synchronously to one another. The conveyor chains are track-guided so that a constant spacing from the inner belt is ensured.

The outer belt 2 runs horizontally in a first loading area 4 and merges at the lower end 6 of the turning channel 3 into an area which is curved in a semicircular shape as seen from the side. This ends at the upper, outlet-side end 5 of the turning channel 3 or runs over an upper deflection roller 7 as the outer center 10, essentially parallel to the inner center 9, until it is returned to the lower or drive roller 8. The drive roller 8 is in drive connection with a drive 11.

The inner band 1 consists of an endless, inner lattice band, which is guided on a pear-shaped path including the center of curvature 12 of the turning semicircle. On the side facing away from the turning channel 3, a pair of gears 13, rotatably driven by a drive 14, is arranged, which with their Engage teeth in the inner mesh belt to drive it. The direction of rotation of the inner band 1 is by a Arrow 15 is shown and runs counterclockwise around the center of curvature 12, synchronously with the inner run 9 of the chain conveyor belt of the outer belt 2 arranged outside behind the turning channel 3, the direction of rotation of which is shown by a curved arrow 16. The mesh belt of the inner belt 1 is equipped with driving rods 17 which project outwards at uniform intervals and which engage in the dishes 20, 21, 22 which are transported into the turning channel 3 and support or take them with them. These driver bars 17 can have an orientation that is essentially perpendicular to the path plane or radial in the turning semicircle zone. However, they can also have an oblique orientation of 10 ° -20 ° pointing forward in the transport direction. The oblique embodiment has the advantage that at the same time there is greater holding elasticity.

In the interior of the turning device, with an effect in the turning semicircle, effective prewash nozzles 18 are arranged radially through the mesh band of the inner band 1, which prewash the items of washing passed in the turning channel 3, consisting of trays 20 loaded with plates 21 and trays 22, that means getting rid of coarse dirt.

It can be seen that the upper end 5 or the deflection roller 7 of the outer belt 2 is set back from the apex 23 of the wall device on the circumference. This reset can be approximately 30 ° and has the advantage that, on the one hand, the overall height is saved and, on the other hand, there are no structural measures at the apex 23 which stand in the way of attaching further components, such as discharge belts. This is also shortened by the length of the belt and the length of the guides. There are no disadvantages to fear with regard to the further transport of the turned laundry, because this already stands securely on the driving rods 17 and is transported over the apex 23.

In the entry and discharge station II, discharge belts 24, 25, 26 are provided in the upper part, via which the turned laundry is removed from the carrier bars 17 of the inner belt 1 and passed flat to the washing station III.

The upper discharge belt 24 is a horizontal tray belt 24 which is designed as a double chain belt and which is guided around two deflection wheels 27 and 28. The first deflection wheel 27 is arranged at the apex 23 tangentially to the inner belt so that it engages around the inner belt so that the chains of the tray belt 24 lifts the trays 20 from the carrier bars 17 and conveys them away horizontally.

Below the tray belt 24, starting a little deeper and offset in the circumferential direction of the inner belt 1, a slide 29 is attached at an angle, which also has the function of a removal device and merges into a bias belt 25 with the same inclination. However, it can also be seen from FIG. 1 that the bias tape 25 can also be drawn directly as far as between the driver bars 17 of the inner tape, so that a discharge chute 29 is not required. At its lower end, which is guided via deflection wheels 32, the bias binding cooperates with the lower washing belt.

The horizontal central belt 26 arranged vertically below the tray belt 24 has essentially the same beginning as the bias belt 25, that is to say they have at least the same drive shaft 30 on which the corresponding drive wheel pairs are seated, of course offset in the transverse direction. The middle band 26 runs at its opposite end around deflection wheels 31 and is designed in the same way as the tray belt 24 as a double chain conveyor belt for the transport of the plates 21. It should be noted that the deflection wheels 28, 31 and 32 are arranged vertically one above the other, that is to say that all three discharge belts 24, 25 and 26 reach the same vertical plane and thus at an identical distance from the washing station III. The bias belt 25 can be a nub belt, that is, it can be a normal conveyor belt with a non-slip rubber or plastic coating, on the upper transport surface of which, for example, nubs 51 or other elevations are arranged as anti-slip measures. However, the bias tape 25 can also be a mesh tape, similar to the inner tape 1, only that instead of the relatively long driver bars 17, very short holding knobs or protrusions are arranged in a plug-shaped manner so that they reliably prevent the trays 22 from sliding down too quickly or Hold on to the side.

From Figure 1 it can also be seen that vertically above the drive axis 30 for the central belt 26 and the bias belt 25, drive wheels 33 are arranged for the tray belt 24. Both the drive wheels 33 and the drive axle 30 are operatively connected to a drive 34 via a drive chain or a belt 35. It can also be seen that the belt drives 11, 14, 34 are coupled to one another or can be coupled, so that the same belt speeds can be specified.

As can be seen from FIG. 2, the discharge chute 29 has inlet bevels 36 which run to the width of the bias belt 25 and which practically center the plates 21 and trays 22 which move downwards on the chute 29, so that they are separated from the subsequent belts by the is called the plate 21 of Center belt 26 and the shells 22 can be safely positioned positioned from the bias belt 25.

As can be seen from FIG. 3 in conjunction with FIG. 1, a transverse conveyor 37 is arranged in the lower part of the entry and discharge station II with its longitudinal extension adjacent to the front drive end of the loading area of the outer belt. The cross conveyor 37 consists of a driven roller belt 38, on which the trays 20 with their narrow side ahead, that is, introduced in the longitudinal direction. It also has a corner converter 39, via which the incoming trays are positioned exactly and pushed across the roller conveyor and onto the conveyor chain of the outer belt 1.

The corner converter 39 essentially consists of an end stop 40, the stop function of which is precisely coordinated with the rear side guide of the outer belt 2. Furthermore, the corner converter 39 contains a tablet insertion belt 41, which is arranged between two successive rollers of the roller conveyor 38 in such a way that it engages essentially centrally on the longitudinal side of a tray 20 facing away from the outer conveyor via at least one driver 42 mounted on the top side and this on the Slides on outer band 2. It can be seen that the tablet insertion belt 41 should have essentially the same transport speed as the outer belt 2; unless a kind of slide-on runners or rails are provided in the loading area 4 for faster placement of the trays 20, for which the trays are then pushed onto the outer belt chains by the outer belt drivers 19.

As can also be seen from FIG. 1, the insertion belt 41 shown has two drivers 42 which are equally spaced on the outside of the belt and have a height, that protrudes slightly above the tablet edge so that it can be carried safely over the upper tablet edge.

As can also be seen from FIG. 1, all three discharge belts, namely the tray belt 24, the middle belt 26 and the bias belt 25, each end in front of a washing belt 44, 45 and 46. The three washing belts 44, 45, 46 belong to the washing station III and lead the horizontally lying flat laundry parts 20, 21, 22 through the corresponding washing, rinsing and drying departments through to the extension station IV. The washing belts 44, 45, 46 are also chain belts or at least mesh belts, which for one sprayed detergent and dishwashing liquid and the blown dry air are very permeable, and on the other hand very little susceptible to the very aggressive detergents and the high heat.

In the extension station IV, interacting with the respective ends of the washing tapes 44, 45, 46, an upper lateral tray extension 47, an intermediate lateral plate extension 48 and a lower tray discharge 49 are provided.

All four main stations I, II, III and IV are combined in a common housing 50, which is recognizable in terms of minimum height and length and also relatively narrow, the width of the trays only slightly exceeding.
