Wie Fig. 1 zeigt, besteht das Gestell der Bügelmaschine aus einem Standsockel 1 mit einem senkrechten Ständer 2, an dem eine hohle Tischplatte 3 angeordnet ist. An der Tischplatte 3 sind ein Tragsockel 4, die beheizbare Bügelmulde 5 und ein Anlegebrett 6 befestigt. An der Bügelgut-Einlaufseite der Bügelmulde 5 ist ein Dampf-Verteilerrohr 7 angeordnet, das eine Reihe von Dampfaustrittsdüsen 8 aufweist. An der Tischplatte 3 sind zwei Tragarme 9, 10 befestigt. Am Tragarm 9 ist ein Schwenkhebel 11 und am Tragarm 10 ein Schwenkhebel 12 gelagert. An den Schwenkhebeln 11, 12 ist die Bügelwalze 13 drehbar gelagert. An die andere Seite der Heizvorrichtung 39 ist eine Leitung 41 angeschlossen, die durch den Kontakt 42 eines Thermostaten 43 mit der Leitung 35 verbindbar ist. In der Leitung 35 sind ein Vorwiderstand 44 und eine Diode 45 angeordnet.
