Die gegenüberliegenden Seitenwände der Aussparung 6 weisen dabei vorteilhafterweise gegenüber den entsprechenden Flanken des Anschlages 7 eine derartige Passung auf, so daß der jeweilige Anschlag 7 bei gelösten Befestigungsschrauben 8 nahezu verkippungsfrei in Richtung Druckanfang DA bzw. von diesem weg bewegt werden kann. Ein derartiges Federmittel ist aber entbehrlich, wenn die entsprechenden Justierarbeiten an den Anschlägen 7 in einer Plattenzylinderposition durchgeführt werden, welche auch ungefähr der beim Einführen einer Druckplatte 5 in den geöffneten Aufnahmespalt 4 entspricht. Allgemein befindet sich der Plattenzylinder 1 dann in einer derartigen Winkelstellung, bei der der Aufnahmespalt 4 nach oben zeigt und somit die Anschläge 7 durch ihr Eigengewicht bei gelösten Befestigungsschrauben 8 am Gewindebolzen 10 anliegen. Claims (7)

  1. Device for the register correct fitting of printing plates on to the plate cylinders of printing presses, particularly offset sheet printing presses, consisting of a clamping rail (3) arranged in an axially parallel channel of the plate cylinder, which, for fixing the edge of the printing plate corresponding to the print start, has a reception slot (4) to be closed and, in the region of this reception slot, stops (7) are provided which cooperate with corresponding stampings out on the edge of the printing plate characterised in that the stops (7) are arranged adjustably with respect to the clamping rail (3) at least in one direction of the plane of the reception slot (4) and that the stops (7) are installed adjustably with respect to the clamping rail (3) by adjustment means fitted thereto.
  2. Device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the stops (7) are installed relative to the clamping rail (3) adjustably in the peripheral direction of the plate cylinder (1).
  3. Device according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the stops (7) are constructed in each case as a little plate as the ends turned towards the front edge of the printing plate (5), the end face sides of which are shaped correspondingly to the stampings out (5.1) provided.
