Mittels einer während des Verstellvorgangs stets geführten oberen Klemmschiene ist es möglich, unter Einsatz eines geeignet ausgebildeten und mit der oberen Klemmschiene wirkverbundenen Verstellmittels eine schnelle und definierte Verstellung des Registerelements zu erzielen. Dabei ist es nicht notwendig, zur Verstellung des Registerelements die obere Klemmschiene komplett vom Plattenzylinder zu lösen, sondern es besteht aufgrund der vorgesehenen Führung der Klemmschiene auch die Möglichkeit, selbige mittels eines geeigneten Verstellmittels elastisch in eine Verstellrichtung zu verformen beziehungsweise zu verbiegen zur Erzielung einer sich entsprechend einstellenden Positionierung des jeweiligen Registerelements relativ zu der am Plattenzylinder zu befestigenden beziehungsweise zu klemmenden Druckplatte. Die obere Klemmschiene 13 wirkt zur Druckplatten-Klemmung mit einem in radialer Richtung bezüglich des Plattenzylinders bewegbaren Klemmelement 24 zusammen und ist zur Verstellung eines jeweiligen Registerelements 11 in einer Führung 14 bewegbar und lagefixierbar. Die Führung 14 ist als Gleitführung in Form einer Flachführung ausgebildet und geeignet, in Bezug auf den Plattenzylinder 18 radiale mittels der oberen Klemmschiene 13 in die Führung 14 eingeleitete Kräfte (Gegenkräfte der Druckplattenverspannung) zu kompensieren. Die Klemmvorrichtung 10 enthält ferner eine Verstelleinrichtung 15, mittels welcher die obere Klemmschiene 13 in der Führung 14 in einer Gleitrichtung gemäß Doppelpfeil 16 lageverstellbar ist. Dabei entspricht die Gleitrichtung (Doppelpfeil 16) der Klemmschiene 13 der Verstellrichtung eines entsprechenden Registerelements 11. Die Verstelleinrichtung 15 weist gemäß Figur 1 vorzugsweise eine Mehrzahl an mechanischen Verstellelementen 17 auf, welche jeweils als handbetätigbare Exzenterbolzen ausgebildet sind. Mittels einer Drehung des als Exzenterbolzens ausgebildeten Verstellelements 17 gemäß Doppelpfeil 23 um eine Drehachse 26 ist es möglich, die Klemmschiene 13 in einem jeweiligen Verstellbereich 20 elastisch in die Verstellrichtung gemäß Doppelpfeil 16 lagezuverstellen, wobei die obere Klemmschiene 13 stets gemäß Figur 1 in der Führung 14 auf ganze Länge, das heißt relativ zum Doppelpfeil 16 in Querrichtung, geführt ist. Mittels dieser kontrollierten und elastisch geführten Lage-verstellung der Klemmschiene 13 in hinsichtlich des Plattenzylinders 18 tangentialer Richtung erfolgt eine erwünschte Verstellung (Positionierung) des entsprechenden Registerelements 11 relativ zur Druckplatte 19 (siehe auch Figur 1). Nach Einnahme der gewünschten Betriebsposition der oberen Klemmschiene 13 und somit auch der Registerelemente 11 wird das entsprechende, als Exzenterbolzen ausgebildete Verstellelement 17 mittels eines geeigneten Klemm- oder Spannmittels 21, beispielsweise in Form einer Klemmschraube, blockiert zur vollständigen Lagefixierung der Klemmschiene 13 in Betriebsposition. Figur 3 zeigt eine alternative Ausführungsform der erfindungsgemäßen Klemmvorrichtung 10, gemäß welcher die Verstelleinrichtung 15 ein Verstellelement 17 aufweist, das als Stellschraube ausgebildet ist. Bei Betätigung der Stellschraube 17 wird die Klemmleiste 13 in der Führung 14 entweder gemäß Doppelpfeil 16 (in der Zeichnung nach rechts) gegen eine elastische Rückstellkraft (Eigenelastizität der oberen Klemmschiene 13) lageverstellt oder aufgrund dieser wirkenden elastischen Rückstellkraft (in der Zeichnung nach links) zurückbewegt. In dieser Weise erfolgt eine erwünschte Verstellung des jeweiligen Registerelements 11 in Bezug auf eine nicht in Figur 3 dargestellte Druckplatte 19, welche mittels der oberen Klemmschiene 13 und dem gemäß Doppelpfeil 25 in zum Plattenzylinder 19 radialer Richtung bewegbaren Klemmelements 24 am Platten-zylinder 18 an ihrer Vorderkante in bekannter Weise befestigbar beziehungsweise klemmbar ist.
