Abstract

Eine Topfmanschette aus einem in sich geschlossenen, aufgrund von vielfacher faltiger Verformung in Umfangrichtung begrenzt elastisch dehnbaren Material besteht aus einem wasserabweisenden Papier. Die vielfache faltige Verformung ist - statt durch Plissierung - durch Kreppen gebildet.

Description

  • Bekannte Topfmanschetten bestehen aus Kunststoff, und zwar üblicherweise aus einer plissierten PVC-Folie. Dies ist eine "normale" PVC-Folie, die wechselweise geknickt und aufeinandergelegt wird, um dann zu einem Ring zusammengefügt zu werden, der leicht gepannt um einen Blumentopf gelegt werden kann.
  • Derartige Topfmanschetten werden derzeit angeboten, der Verkehr lehnt sie jedoch zunehmend als "unnatürlich" ab und sie stellen darüber hinaus nach Gebrauch ein Entsorgungsproblem dar.
  • Die Lösung des Problems besteht darin, gekrepptes, wasserabweisendes Papier zu nehmen (Anspruch 1). Statt der Plissierung bei Kunststoff wird jetzt ein Kreppen vorgenommen.
  • Es ist jedoch nicht möglich, einfach ein anderes Material zu benutzen. Problem ist nämlich, daß diese Topfmanschetten wasserabweisend sein müssen, da sie ansonsten bei einer Verwendung an einem Blumentopf schlicht ungeeignet sind.
  • Es hat sich dabei vorteilhaft herausgestellt, daß bei richtiger Wahl der Parameter bei der Herstellung die Farbe des Papieres nicht ausfärbt, wenn sie nach der Herstellung noch feucht werden sollte.
  • Darüber hinaus ist die erfindungsgemäße Topfmanschette optisch besonders ansprechend. Aufgrund der wasserabweisenden Eigenschaften des unregelmäßig strukturierten gekreppten Papiers - auch einfarbig oder mehrfarbig - bleibt es lange Zeit ästhetisch ansprechend.
  • Mittig und/oder randseitig (zylindrisch) können Bahnen oder schmale Streifen vorgesehen sein, die - unterschiedlich bzw. dichter gekreppt - eine Federzugwirkung unterstützen. Die Tompfmanschette wird so betont wiederverwendbar.

Claims (2)

  1. Topfmanschette aus einem in sich geschlossenen, aufgrund von vielfacher faltiger Verformung in Umfangrichtung begrenzt elastisch dehnbaren Material, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Manschette aus einem wasserabweisenden Papier besteht und die vielfache faltige Verformung - statt durch Plissierung - durch Kreppen gebildet ist.
  2. Topfmanschette nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das wasserabweisende Papier ausfärbungsfrei eingefärbt ist.
