Definitions
- the present invention relates to a closure for tubes according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Closures or caps with tamper-evident protection for tubes or similar containers are well known, e.g. from EP-A-0 460 557, EP-A-0 459 941.
- tube closures are known which do not have to be completely unscrewed or pulled off in order to enable the contents of the tube to be expressed.
- the closure which has a hole in the middle, is turned one or more turns. The edge of the hole mentioned stands out from a pin which closes it in the screwed state. This frees up an annular gap through which the contents of the tube, or of the container in general, run out or can be actively expressed.
- a rotatable closure for a litter box is known.
- a large number of scatter holes in the lid of the closure which are arranged on a circle, are closed by an equal number of coinciding knobs of the same arrangement. These knobs are arranged on projections of the inner wall surface of the container-side part of the closure.
- the lid is rotated about its axis of rotation; as a result, the scatter holes move away from the knobs mentioned and the spreading material can be shaken out of the holes.
- the object that is to be achieved with the present invention is to provide a closure for tubes or soft plastic bottles, which does not have to be completely unscrewed to enable the contents to be expressed, and which can be easily secured with a tamper-evident device can be connected.
- the first embodiment is shown in Fig. 1a, b in section, in Fig. 1b in a plan view.
- a tube body 1 carries - connected to it, for example, by welding - a shoulder 2 which narrows upward to form a tube neck 7.
- This has an annular bead 4.
- a closure cap 3 is divided into two concentric cylindrical parts 8, 9 and an end plate 10, the inner cylindrical part 9 fitting onto the tube neck 7 with little play and having an annular groove 5 corresponding to the annular bead 4.
- Ring bead 4 and ring groove 5 are shaped such that the closure cap 3 can be pushed over the tube neck 7 by stretching the inner cylindrical part 9, but that the closure cap 3 can no longer be removed without destroying it.
- the tube neck 7 is closed except for an eccentrically lying opening 6.
- the opening 6 is tightly closed by the end plate 10.
- the outer structure of the closure cap 3 does not need to have the shape shown, but can be flat, convex or concave with respect to the end plate 10; furthermore, the transition from the end plate 10 to the outer cylindrical part 8 can be a gradual one; nor does the outer cylindrical part 8 really have to have a cylindrical shape: polygonal designs are also conceivable and form a question of taste, not a technical one.
- a downwardly closed, upwardly open cylinder 11 is formed, which contains a ball 13 pressed up by a helical spring 12.
- the ball 13 is movable with play in the cylinder 11 and closes - in the position according to FIGS. 1a, b - an opening 14 in the closure cap 3, which opening 14 is shaped like a segment of a spherical shell.
- the closure cap 3 is rotated by the angle ⁇ .
- the end plate 10 presses the ball 13 downward against the resistance of the coil spring 12; the opening 14 in the cap 3 comes to rest over the opening 6: the contents of the tube can be removed.
- the ball 13 closes the opening 14 again, and any remnants of the tube contents can be removed from the ball with a finger.
- the restriction of the rotatability of the closure cap 3 to the intended angle ⁇ is brought about by the interaction of a cam 15 which is integrally formed on the shoulder 2 and a lateral recess 16 in the outer cylindrical part 8 of the closure cap 3.
- the recess 16 is therefore so wide that, taking into account the width of the cam 15, it permits the screw cap 3 to be rotated by the angle ⁇ .
- the parts designated 17 to 20 are explained in connection with FIG. 4.
- FIG. 4 shows a perspective phantom representation of the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1a, b.
- a ring 17 is inserted, which is connected via a strip 19 and a predetermined breaking point 18 to a tab located outside the closure cap 3.
- the predetermined breaking point 18 lies directly within the recess 16.
- the dimensions of the flap 20 are greater than the width of the recess 16.
- the thickness of the material of this tamper-evident device, consisting of the parts labeled 17 to 20, preferably corresponds to the height of the recess 16.
- the Tab 20 can be provided with price, product information and expiry date, for example. Without tearing the predetermined breaking point 18, the closure cap 3 cannot be rotated and the closure cap 3 otherwise only be blasted off the tube with the use of force and its destruction.
- the design described has the effect that the strip 19 does not hinder the rotation of the closure cap 3 after the flap 20 has been torn off - that is to say after the tamper-proof has been breached. Furthermore, it is not possible to put the tab 20 back into the recess 16 in order to simulate originality.
- the ring 17 is so large that the predetermined breaking point 18 comes to lie between the outer edge of the ring 17 and the tab 20, the strip 19 being omitted.
- the tamper-evident device shown in FIG. 2 is preferably made of cardboard. This enables cost-effective production, problem-free printing and easy integration during the closing process.
- Fig. 2 shows a second embodiment.
- a ball part 21 which is connected via an annular spring joint 22 to the end of the tube neck 7 and is produced in the same injection mold.
- the remaining parts and designs correspond to those of FIG. 1.
- FIG. 3 a, b Another embodiment is shown in Fig. 3 a, b.
- the front end of the tube neck 7, with undiminished wall thickness has an attachment in the form of a spherical segment 23.
- the end plate 10 is made thinner in a central region 24 than the rest of the end plate 10. If the closure cap 3 is rotated, the end plate 10 gives up in the region 24 until the spherical segment 23 into a spherical segment-shaped bulge 25 in the region 24 of the end plate 10 snaps into place.
- This bulge 25 is also offset by an angle ⁇ with respect to the opening 14 in the closure cap 3, so that the ball segment 23 engages in the bulge 25 in the same position of the closure cap 3 as the opening 6 in the tube neck 7 through the opening 14 in the cap 3rd
- the tube which is provided with the closure according to the invention remains essentially closed.
- the small remainder of the tube content, which remains in the opening 14 in the closure cap 3 when the expressed quantum has been removed, for example with a finger, is removed by the ball 13, the spherical segment 23 or the spherical part 21 after the closure cap 3 has been turned back Opening 14 pushed out, and can be wiped off.
- the tube closure according to the invention is suitable for any purpose or content.
Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a closure for tubes according to the preamble of
If only small quantities are to be removed from a tube, this solution has not been able to assert itself, since in the case of an ointment or cream, a tube forms when it emerges from an annular gap opening which is not very dimensionally stable and therefore does not allow a reliable conclusion to be drawn about the quantity that has escaped.
The disadvantage that most known tamper-evident seals have (the two European patent applications mentioned represent a large number of similar solutions) is mainly due to their spatial complexity. Either predetermined breaking points are provided, in some cases of a very complicated nature, and in some cases originality tapes have to be torn or stretched, which require that the closure must be composed of several complicated parts. This requires either several or very complicated injection molds, which make the product more expensive.
From FR-A1-1 548 054 a rotatable closure for a litter box is known. A large number of scatter holes in the lid of the closure, which are arranged on a circle, are closed by an equal number of coinciding knobs of the same arrangement. These knobs are arranged on projections of the inner wall surface of the container-side part of the closure. To open the closure, the lid is rotated about its axis of rotation; as a result, the scatter holes move away from the knobs mentioned and the spreading material can be shaken out of the holes.
The object that is to be achieved with the present invention is to provide a closure for tubes or soft plastic bottles, which does not have to be completely unscrewed to enable the contents to be expressed, and which can be easily secured with a tamper-evident device can be connected.
The solution to the problem is given in
The inventive concept is explained in more detail with reference to several exemplary embodiments in the accompanying drawings.

The first embodiment is shown in Fig. 1a, b in section, in Fig. 1b in a plan view. A
In the
If some of the content of the tube is to be removed, the
The restriction of the rotatability of the
In the cavity between the
The design described has the effect that the
In a variant not shown in FIG. 4, the
Fig. 2 zeigt ein zweites Ausführungsbeispiel. Fig. 2 shows a second embodiment. Instead of the
The
Another embodiment is shown in Fig. 3 a, b. Here, the front end of the
The advantages of the described designs are primarily that the tube which is provided with the closure according to the invention remains essentially closed. The small remainder of the tube content, which remains in the
Inhalt geeignet.By adapting the sizes of the
