Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a bottle cleaning machine with a loading and unloading station and a plurality of treatment stations arranged in the direction of flow of the bottles as well as a swath suction channel with swath guide arranged in the transport direction of the bottles in front of the dispensing station.
It is known to knock down the swath, which occurs increasingly inside bottle cleaning machines, before the bottle is dispensed by appropriate cold water spraying, or to suck the swath out of the interior of the machine before the bottle is dispensed. For this purpose, extraction ducts are provided which, with the involvement of a fan, suck in the swaths accumulating in the machine area and discharge them into the open. Such channels are usually arranged immediately before the bottles exit the cleaning machine, as a result of which the air present in the dispensing area is also sucked in and directed into the interior of the machine via the dispensed bottles. This air, which is usually not biologically perfect, also reaches the area of the bottles and, due to its germ content, can possibly lead to a re-infection of the filled bottles.
The object of the invention is to suction off the swaths that accumulate in the dispensing area on the machine side and on the bottle side at the dispensing station, wherein dripping of the condensate accumulating at the outlet opening and penetration of ambient air into the dispensing area or bottle removal area and head part of the machine are to be avoided.
This object is achieved according to the invention in a bottle washer of the type mentioned in that the swath above the delivery point of the bottles is sucked out of the open machine housing and above the transport plane of the bottles is guided along a guide surface to the swath suction channel remote from the delivery point and together with the ambient air in this area is removed.
In an independent embodiment of the invention, it has proven to be expedient for a vapor extraction duct to be arranged on the head side in front of the dispensing station and having at least one suction opening above the bottle removal path.
Furthermore, it is proposed in an independent development of the invention that the suction opening above the bottle transport level and above this level is arranged a heated guide surface for the swaths emerging from the machine and rising from the dispensed bottles. Further features of the invention emerge from the remaining subclaims.
With the embodiment of the invention, a perfect suction of the swaths present inside the machine and the remaining swaths still rising from the bottles dispensed as well as the discharge of the critical ambient air in front of the cleaning machine is ensured. This means that they cannot enter the machine housing.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawing.
In the simplified drawing, the delivery area of a bottle cleaning machine is shown with the
The guide surface 10 is expediently directed obliquely upward and forms the wedge-shaped suction channel 7 for this surrounding area with the housing surface located above it. The gap width of the intake duct 7 can be adjustable and can be changed as a function of the machine throughput.
Optionally, the steam extraction duct can be connected to a further suction duct arranged in the machine housing, both ducts having a common suction device, for example a
As a result of the proposed design, the swath above the
