Definitions

  • the invention relates to a collecting trough on support arms for a ventilation device with condensation, the ventilation device having at least one condensation-forming, curved cassette and hanging support heads with horizontal support arms in the installed state, the edges of the cassette each project into a collecting trough and relate to the support each in the longitudinal direction of one of the collecting troughs supporting arms which has a longitudinal edge of the two opposite ends of the collecting trough at the first collecting trough end a first end section and at the second collecting trough end a second end section and the other longitudinal edge of the collecting trough at the second collecting trough end a third end section and at the first collecting trough end has a fourth end portion.
  • the collecting channel cross section is approximately C-shaped, whereby it is extends over more than 180 ° and has a diameter corresponding to the width of the support arms.
  • the collecting channel can therefore be pressed with its upward opening from below at its ends onto a support arm of two support heads and snap into these support arms in a snap fit. End walls of the collecting trough engage from below in a cross slot of the support arms which is open at the bottom. In order to dismantle the collecting trough again, for example to clean it, it can be pulled down again from the support arms.
  • the collecting channel must be gripped with both hands at one end and moved parallel to its longitudinal axis. With correspondingly longer collecting troughs that cannot be grasped by one person at both ends, two people are then required. In addition, this type of fastening must be carried out with very tight tolerances both in manufacture and in assembly. Nevertheless, the collecting trough is not always reliably fixed when it is being handled by different people.
  • the collecting trough can therefore be suspended from the edges of the support arms by lateral displacement and / or tilting about its longitudinal axis or a longitudinal edge it has previously been disengaged from the adjacent gutter by lifting and axial displacement. The hanging is done in reverse. With this collecting trough, however, there is a risk that it will disengage from one longitudinal edge of the support arm due to an unintentional lateral impact. tilts to the side and empties.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a collecting trough on support arms of the type mentioned, which allows greater manufacturing and assembly tolerances, has an absolutely tight fit and is easier to assemble and disassemble.
  • this object is achieved in that at least the first and third, and at most also the second end section is provided with a tab projecting to the respective opposite longitudinal edge of the collecting channel, that the tabs can each overlap a longitudinal edge of a support arm and that in the direction of the opposite one Longitudinal edge of the collecting trough measured length of at least the tab in the first end section and the torsional and bending resistance the collecting trough are dimensioned such that the collecting trough can be rotated about its longitudinal axis by a predetermined minimum amount, corresponding to the height of the longitudinal edges of the collecting trough above the underside of the support arms, and the first end of the collecting trough relative to its second end at least by the amount of that length of the first Tab in the first end section can be deflected horizontally by moving the collecting channel.
  • the collecting trough for assembly can be plugged approximately axially with one end forward onto a support arm of a first support head, then rotated about its longitudinal axis by the said minimum dimension, laterally deflected and hung with the flap of the first end section over a support arm of a second support head and then be released. It moves automatically into its normal position on the support arm of the second support head due to its return spring force.
  • it can be rotated around its longitudinal axis at the first end and laterally deflected so that it disengages from the support arm of the second support head, in order to then pull it axially from the support arm of the first support head.
  • the formation of the collecting trough with one tab each only in the first and third end section has the advantage that it is not necessary to pay attention to the end at which the collecting trough must be grasped during assembly or disassembly. If the collecting trough is provided with a tab not only in the first and third but also in the second end section, self-rotation under the weight of the condensate collected by the collecting trough is avoided at its second end even with a longer length.
  • the first tab is preferably extended at least to the second end section and the third tab to the fourth end section. This results in a higher stiffness of the collecting channel compared to a deflection under the weight of the condensate.
  • the rigidity is particularly high if the first tab is extended to the second end of the collecting trough.
  • a collecting trough for a ventilation device in which the support arms have side walls angled upwards, is preferably designed in such a way that a section of the first and third tabs projecting beyond the adjacent side wall of the relevant support arm is angled toward the bottom of the collecting channel. This training increases the security of the end of the gutter that cannot be twisted during assembly or disassembly against twisting.
  • the collecting troughs have an end wall at each end, that the upper edge of the first end wall at the first end of the collecting trough from the side wall of the collecting trough having the fourth end section, on the underside of the support arm carrying the first end of the collecting trough beginning, drops to the other side wall of the collecting trough and that the upper edge of the second end wall drops from the underside of the support arm carrying the second end of the collecting trough in the opposite direction to the upper edge of the first end wall and to the same extent as this edge.
  • the second end of the collecting trough when the first end is rotated on the one hand by the tab of the third end section and on the other hand by the third diametrically opposite lower edge of the support arm supporting the second end, which is at the upper edge of the second end wall rests, supported against rotation.
  • a higher fill level in the collecting trough - up to the lowest point of the upper end wall edge - is possible than with the upper edge of the end walls horizontal in the untwisted position of the collecting trough.
  • the ventilation ceiling 1 contains a ventilation device suspended from the ceiling in the form of a ventilation ceiling 1.
  • the ventilation ceiling 1 contains double-walled cassettes 2 which are curved upwards and are arranged next to one another.
  • An exhaust duct 3 above the ventilation ceiling sucks in air from the kitchen space through holes 4 (FIGS. 2 and 4) with inwardly bent edges in the inner walls 5 and outer walls 6 of the cassettes 2.
  • Steam contained in the air can condense on the metallic walls 5 and 6 and the condensate can flow into collecting channels 7a which are open at the top and into which the edges of the cassettes 2 extend (cf. in particular FIGS. 2 and 4).
  • the cassettes 2 are supported with their corner regions, see in particular FIG.
  • each collecting channel 7a has a first end section 11 and 11 at the first end of the collecting channel 7a a second end section 12 at the second end of the collecting trough 7a.
  • the other longitudinal edge of the collecting trough 7a has a third end section 13 at the second end of the collecting trough 7a and a fourth end section 14 at the first end of the collecting trough 7a.
  • the first end section 11 and the third end section 13 are each provided with a tab 15 or 16 projecting in the direction of the respectively opposite longitudinal edge of the collecting channel 7a.
  • the tabs 15, 16 each overlap an edge of the support arms 8 each carrying one end of the collecting troughs 7a.
  • the length of at least the first tab 15 measured in the direction of the respectively opposite longitudinal edge of the collecting troughs 7a and the torsional and bending resistance of each collecting trough 7a are dimensioned such that that the collecting trough 7a can be rotated about its longitudinal axis by a predetermined minimum amount, corresponding to the height of the longitudinal edges of the collecting trough 7a above the underside of the support arms 8, and the first end of the collecting trough relative to its second end by at least the amount of that length of the first tab 15 Moving the collecting channel 7a is horizontally deflectable.
  • the collecting trough 7a then has an end wall 17 or 18 at each end.
  • the upper edge 17a of the first end wall 17 at the first end of the collecting trough 7a falls from the side wall having the fourth end section 14 (cf. in particular FIG. 6) of the collecting trough 7a , starting at the underside of the support arm 8 carrying the first end of the collecting trough 7a, down to the other side wall of the collecting trough 7a.
  • the upper edge 18a of the second end wall 18 falls from the underside of the support arm 8 carrying the second end of the collecting channel 7a in the opposite direction to the upper edge 17a of the first end wall 17 and to the same extent as this edge 17a.
  • the collecting trough 7a has already been installed, assuming the position shown in FIGS. 7 to 9, in which it rests with one end on a support arm 8 of a first support head 9 and with the other end on the Support arm 8 of a second support head 9 supports.
  • the second end of the collecting channel 7a having the end wall 18 maintains its position on the support arm 8, as shown in FIGS. 10 to 11.
  • the collecting trough 7a is then at the first end in the direction of the side wall of the collecting trough 7a having the tab 15, i.e. to the left in FIG. 12, until the tab 15 no longer engages over the support arm 8 or its side wall 8a. Thereafter, the collecting trough 7a is lowered somewhat at the first end until the tab 15 lies somewhat lower than the associated support arm 8. Then the first end of the collecting channel 7a is laterally deflected to such an extent that it can be pulled axially past the adjacent support head 9 by the support arm 8 carrying its second end.
  • the assembly is carried out analogously in the opposite way.
  • the Base forms the fulcrum of the collecting channel 7a. Because the upper ends of the edges 17a and 18a of the end walls 17 and 18 in the assembled position (cf. in particular FIGS. 7 and 9) each support on the underside of one of the support arms 8, this simultaneously prevents the collecting channel 7a from being inadvertently in the assembled position according to FIGS. 7 to 9 can be pushed up.
  • the collecting trough 7i cannot be filled up to the upper edge of the end walls 17 'in order to avoid overflowing when the collecting trough 7i is rotated, in the other exemplary embodiments the collecting trough can reach the lowest point of the upper edge 17a and 18a are filled, since the upper edge at the twisted end of the collecting channel is rotated at most up to the horizontal position, as shown in FIG. 12 for the edge 17a.
  • the collecting trough only needs to be touched at one end during assembly or disassembly, it can be handled with one hand, even with longer collecting troughs that cannot be grasped by one person at both ends, one person is sufficient for assembly or disassembly.
  • the collecting channel 7b differs from the collecting channel 7a only in that it also has a tab 20 in the second end section 12 of the upper edge of the one side wall, which tab is designed in the same way as the tab 16.
  • the collecting trough 7b in contrast to the collecting trough 7a, care must be taken to ensure that the correct end, in this case the end having the end wall 17, on which no tab is provided in the fourth end section 14, is rotated during assembly or disassembly .
  • the collecting channel 7b offers greater security against being twisted under the load of the condensate with a greater length.
  • the collecting trough 7c according to FIG. 14 differs from the collecting trough 7a on the one hand in that its bottom is not arched downward, as in the collecting trough 7a, but on the other hand, and on the other hand in that the tab 15 has one to extension 21 reaching second end section 12 and an extension 22 extending to end section 14 adjoins tab 16 in third end section 13.
  • This collecting channel 7c also offers greater strength not only against twisting but also against deflection under the load of the condensate.
  • the collecting trough 7d according to FIG. 15 differs from that according to FIG. 14 only in that not only the extension 21 according to FIG. 14 but also the tab 20 is provided, so that the tab 15 extends to the other end of the collecting trough 7d is.
  • the collecting channel 7d therefore offers the advantages of both collecting channels 7b and 7c.
  • the collecting channel 7e according to FIG. 16 differs from the collecting channel 7a only in that it has a rectangular cross section.
  • the tabs 15 and 16 each have a section 15a and 16a or 15b and 16b projecting beyond the adjacent side wall 8a or 8b, the side walls 8a of the support arms 8 and the sections 15a, 16a in FIG. 17 are each angled at right angles and in FIG. 18 the side walls 8b and sections 15b, 16b are angled at an angle between 10 ° and 60 ° to the horizontal.
  • the angled sections 15a, 16a or 15b, 16b have the advantage that the fixed end of the collecting trough 7f or 7g has its position when the collecting trough is rotated maintains with greater certainty.
  • the collecting trough 7h according to FIG. 19 differs from that according to FIG. 16 only in that the lower part of the collecting trough 7h has an approximately trapezoidal cross section, without the collecting trough 7h being overall lower than the collecting trough 7e.
  • the collecting channel 7h therefore has a higher capacity.
  • the collecting channel 7i according to FIG. 20 differs from that according to FIG. 16 only in that the upper edge of the end walls 17 'runs horizontally and not at an angle.
