Description
The invention relates to a folder for web-fed rotary printing presses according to the preamble of claim 1.
A variable folder for web-fed rotary printing presses is known from DE-PS 16 11 292. The folding apparatus has a knife cylinder arranged on the collecting cylinder, between which a product fed via pulling rollers and guide tongues is cut and subsequently passed on to a folding jaw cylinder via a belt line lying against the collecting cylinder. The collecting cylinder with its cutting groove, gripper and folding knife devices is adjustable in size, ie the individual functional units mentioned are adjustable in format. For this reason, speed differences arise as a result of a higher peripheral speed of the collecting cylinder, in particular when smaller formats are being processed, and the lower speed of the product strand being fed. However, such pretensioning of the paper strand leads to relaxation of the paper web when it is cut, which can lead to the cut end of the paper strand jumping out of the inlet or clamping point between the cutting and collecting cylinders. Even after the DE-PS 16 11 292 between the pulling rollers and the inlet of the guide tongues arranged between the knife cylinder and the collecting cylinder cannot completely prevent the paper web from springing back, so that larger folding tolerances or even faults in the folding apparatus as a result of "blockages" can occur.
The invention has for its object to provide a folder with a cutting cylinder acting against a collecting cylinder, between which a paper strand is fed via tension rollers for cutting under pretension, springing back of the remaining cross-cut paper web, in particular when using large format-length-adjustable collecting cylinders, is to be avoided .
According to the invention, this object is achieved by the characterizing part of patent claim 1.
The following advantages arise in particular when using the invention. The arrangement of the tape line system prevents the end of the paper strand from springing back before the entry between the cutting cylinder and the collecting cylinder. Likewise, fold tolerances and "blockers" are prevented.
The invention is explained in more detail below using two exemplary embodiments.
The single figure shows a schematic cross section through the cylinder part of a folder according to the invention with a belt system in the inlet.
The cylinder part of a folder consists of a collecting cylinder 1 and a cutting
The beginning of the wrapping of the collecting cylinder 1 by the
Seen in the transport direction B of the
After cross cutting has been carried out, one end of the
