Description

The invention relates to a diffuser luminaire with a housing, with at least one preferably elongated illuminant, above which reflectors are attached, which direct the light downward, furthermore with a reflector basket attached under the illuminant, which deflects the light partly to the reflectors and partly downwards lets through.

From the catalog of the company Zumtobel "Lichtspiegel 91/92" (page 27), a bath luminaire with a reflector basket (type RCE) with these features is known, in which two reflectors are attached in a luminaire bath so that their lower edges are attached to both Ends of a centrally placed reflector basket.

The reflector basket is attached to the luminaire trough and, as previously described, the two curved reflectors end above the reflector basket.

The reflector basket covers one or more lamps and is preferably made of a perforated material, e.g. a perforated plate or the like, which is covered on the inside by a light filter.

By special design of the reflectors of the diffuser luminaire it can be achieved that the light which is directed onto the reflectors and is emitted into the room is relatively identical in its luminance to the light which is emitted directly through the reflector basket to the outside. The well-known diffuser luminaire thus has the advantage that a relatively uniform luminance distribution over the entire Tub light can be realized.

Such a lamp has also become known with the subsequently published EP-A-0 535 416. The connection between the reflector basket and the luminaire tray is made via pipes, which are each provided with stops to support the luminaire tray. These tubes are also used to attach the lamp to a mounting surface, such as. B. the ceiling of a room.

In such embodiments, however, the mounting of the reflector basket on the lamp tray was relatively complex and difficult to solve. This led to the fact that such luminaires were only expensive to manufacture and in particular were not modular. Therefore, new constructions always had to be realized with lamps, ceilings and ceiling elements with different dimensions, which was associated with a high cost.

The invention is therefore based on the object of developing a diffuser luminaire with a reflector basket of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that a substantially more cost-effective and simple mounting of the reflector basket on the luminaire trough is ensured.

To achieve the object, the invention is characterized by the technical teaching of claim 1.

An essential feature of the invention is that a mounting rail is provided as a fastening element between the reflector and the reflector basket, the reflector basket being fastened directly to the mounting rail.

In the known construction, therefore, the lamp trough always had to be changed when using different types of lamps, which is no longer necessary with the new invention. Also needs when using the luminaire according to the invention in grid ceilings only the lamp tray of the size to be adapted to the ceiling elements. It is no longer necessary to redesign the entire luminaire (tub, basket, reflectors) to adapt it to the ceiling elements.

In the case of the invention, a modular structure is proposed, whereby the parts mentioned, namely the lamp tray, mounting rail and reflector basket are assigned to one another in a modular manner, so that the parts mentioned can be easily interchanged during manufacture.

With this e.g. the same reflector basket can be used for different types of lights, which was not possible with the known bath light of the prior art.

Another advantage of the invention results from the fact that, according to the invention, in a further development, the mounting rail is provided for receiving all electrical functional parts, which ensures that the functional parts are fastened to a single mounting location, namely the mounting rail itself, and together with the mounting rail - and can be expanded.

In a further development of the present invention, it is also provided that the mounting rail has lateral reflector surfaces which complement each other with associated reflector surfaces of the reflectors adjoining the mounting rail, so that a more favorable luminance distribution is ensured because the mounting rail itself is also partially designed as a reflector is.

This has the advantage that there are additional reflector surfaces over the entire length of the luminaire trough that are part of the mounting rail, as a result of which the luminous efficiency of the trough luminaire according to the invention is significantly improved.

There are several preferred embodiments for the construction of the mounting rail according to the invention.

In a first preferred embodiment it is provided that the Mounting rail consists of a sheet metal profile. In a second embodiment it is provided that the mounting rail consists of an extruded metal profile, and in a third embodiment it is provided that the mounting rail consists of an extruded plastic profile.

It can then be provided that the reflector surfaces arranged on the mounting rail are subsequently attached, e.g. by vapor deposition of appropriate material, by attaching an appropriate reflector film or by applying an appropriate coating.

It is advantageous that the profile of the mounting rail is approximately V-shaped, so that a V-shaped profile section extends into the reflector basket, which results in curved reflector surfaces on the side surfaces of the mounting rail.

The design of the mounting rail as a resilient, preferably approximately V-shaped profiled rail results in the advantage that various functional elements, such as e.g. the head end parts of the reflector basket, the suspension elements for attaching the mounting rail to the luminaire tray and the corresponding mounting aids can be easily latched in and releasably attached.

The resilient properties of the mounting rail are thus used to hold corresponding snap-in elements.

In a further development of the invention, it is provided that a plurality of reflector baskets arranged one behind the other are also held on a long mounting rail with these associated illuminants at a mutual spacing.

Modular solutions of this type were not possible in the case of the prior art trough luminaire, because it was assumed that the reflector basket was attached directly to the luminaire trough with corresponding end profiles attached at the front.

The invention is explained in more detail below with the aid of drawings which illustrate only one embodiment. Here, from the drawings and their description, further features and advantages of the invention that are essential to the invention emerge.

According to FIGS. 1 and 2, a lamp trough 1, 2 is mounted in a ceiling or on a ceiling, in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1 the lamp trough 1 is fastened with a concealed support system 8 or with a visible support system 8a.

In the interior 3 of the lamp trough 1, reflectors 6, 7 are fastened, the two reflectors being of identical design and each being held on the side wall of the lamp trough 1 with their outer end faces in brackets (not shown).

The two reflectors 6, 7 extend in the direction of the central longitudinal axis of the luminaire trough towards the mounting rail 4 according to the invention, where they are detachably held.

The mounting rail 4 has an approximately V-shaped profile on its underside and preferably has lateral reflector surfaces 16, 17, which are preferably arranged in the extension of the reflector surfaces of the reflectors 6, 7. This results in the V-shaped profile of the mounting rail 4 at least in its lower area.

If reflectors 6, 7 are laid in a different radius of curvature, then the corresponding reflector surfaces 16, 17 of the mounting rail 4 are adapted accordingly, so that preferably a continuous transition between the reflector surfaces 16, 17 of the mounting rail 4 and the reflectors 6, 7 connected to them is ensured.

The length of the mounting rail is relatively independent of the length of the lamp tray. It can be provided in a first embodiment that the mounting rail is of the same length as the lamp tray, which has the advantage that disruptive joints between the reflector basket and the associated surfaces of the lamp tray are avoided.

But it is also possible to make the mounting rail shorter than the length of the luminaire tray or longer. The same also applies to the reflector basket.

In Figures 1 and 2 it is also shown that the top of the mounting rail 4 is provided with brackets (see also Figure 6), so that it is ensured that in the mounting rail 4 all electrical functional parts, such as. a ballast 5 (FIGS. 1 and 2) or a capacitor 40 (FIG. 6) are received and fastened via corresponding holders 41.

This has the advantage that all electrical functional means are arranged in the mounting rail 4 and the mounting rail 4 serves as the only electrical connecting part of the diffuser lamp.

In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 1, it is shown that the reflectors 6, 7 only extend approximately to the lower edge 9 of the lamp trough 1, which, however, is not necessary for a solution. It can be provided that the reflectors 6, 7 also extend in areas of the V-shaped profile of the mounting rail 4 below the lower edge 9.

The reflector basket 10 preferably consists of a trough-shaped element 11, which consists of e.g. a perforated plate 34 is made, which is lined on the inside with a light filter 35.

In Figures 1 and 2 it is shown that the reflector basket 10 can accommodate a wide variety of illuminants 12, such as one or more linear luminaires 13 or one or more compact fluorescent lamps 14.

It can be provided that the reflector basket 10 has different size dimensions, e.g. to have smaller dimensions when accommodating one illuminant than, for example, when accommodating two or more illuminants.

In den Figuren 3 und 4 sind weitere Einzelheiten der lösbaren Halterungsmittel an der Montageschiene 4 dargestellt.FIGS. 3 and 4 show further details of the releasable holding means on the mounting rail 4.

It can thus be seen that the basket end part 19 of the reflector basket 10 has rigid legs 42 which can be snapped into the associated slots 18. It is advantageous here that the mounting rail 4 is designed as a spring element.

An approximately V-shaped lower profile, which forms the lateral reflector surfaces 16, 17, is followed by approximately horizontal sections 24, which in turn merge with vertically offset vertical sections 25 of the mounting rail 4. This creates receiving spaces 39, in which, according to FIG. 5, the reflectors 6, 7 then engage releasably and in a form-fitting manner.

From the vertical, upwardly directed sections 25, horizontal sections 26 are then provided, which in turn are connected to resilient legs 27 which are directed outward but are bent inward.

Overall, according to FIG. 6, there is an approximately arrow-shaped profile of the mounting rail 4, at least in the upper area, with receiving spaces 39 offset laterally inwards and an upper receiving space 43, which is used for Recording the electrical functional parts (Figure 6) is suitable.

Through the slots 20 arranged in the bottom surface of the V-shaped profile, the electrical line for connecting the sockets and starters is inserted into the reflector basket 10.

The socket for the corresponding illuminant is attached to the inside of the respective basket front part 19.

From the end, the mounting rail 4 is closed by a clip-on end piece 33.

In this case, it can be provided that all lamp positions can be detected by different illuminants 12 of different numbers with a single holder which is arranged on the inside of the basket end part 19.

This is independent of the size of the basket end part 19, it being possible for both a separate frame holder to be used and the basket end part itself to be designed as a frame holder.

The mounting rail 4 is held on the lamp trough 1, 2 by means of corresponding suspension elements 29, which are approximately U-shaped brackets, on the base legs of which lateral spring legs 31 are formed. These suspension elements 29 with their spring legs 31 are guided against the horizontal sections 26 of the mounting rail 4 and engage there in slots 30, whereby they spring together and rebound behind the slots, so that there is a releasable clip holder.

With this holder, the earth contact is led from the luminaire tray 1, 2 onto the mounting rail 4 at the same time.

Corresponding holding means for additional holding of the illuminants 12 are provided on the mounting rail 4, lamp holders 22 being releasably attached to the mounting rail 4 by the fact that associated connecting elements 23 with spring legs arranged thereon engage in associated receiving slots in the region of the mutually opposite reflector surfaces 16, 17.

The connecting elements 23 have a lower body which engages in an associated receptacle on the lamp holder 22, with knobs which point outward on the connecting element latching into associated recesses in the region of the receptacle on the lamp holder 22.

The assembly aid 28 shown above in FIG. 3, which is also shown in its functional position in accordance with FIG.

Several assembly aids are distributed over the mounting rail 4. In the case of short mounting rails, the suspension element 29 can also take on the function of the mounting aid 28.

It can be seen here that the assembly aid 28 again has, in the manner as mentioned for the suspension element 29, outwardly directed resilient legs which engage in associated slots 30 in the region of the horizontal sections 26 of the assembly rail 4.

The assembly aid 28 is connected according to FIG. 4 with a cord 32 which is connected on its other side to the tub bottom of the tub 1, 2. The electrical connections are now made by first hanging the mounting rail 4 down on the tensioned cord 32 at a relatively large distance from the lamp trough 1, which then leads the supply cable to the mounting rail and the electrical connections can be made there.

After the electrical connections have been made, the entire mounting rail is simultaneously moved upward against the lamp trough with the mounting aid 28 according to FIG. 4, a corresponding holder being provided in the lamp trough for receiving the bent legs 44 of the suspension elements 29. Here, a locking bracket, not shown, is provided in the lamp trough, which has lateral slots into which the legs 44 of the suspension elements 29 engage. This is a backdrop, so that the legs 44 of the suspension elements 29 move upwards along this backdrop and the legs 44 then snap into corresponding receptacles at the end of this backdrop. This connection also ensures a secure electrical connection between luminaire tray, mounting rail and reflector basket (earthing).

It is also advantageous if the entire reflector basket 10 is only connected via the front end parts 19 of the mounting rail 4, because this means that additional fastening means can then be omitted.

Damit wird ein lichtdichter Abschluß an dieser Stelle erreicht.FIG. 5 also shows how the reflectors 6, 7 are detachably latched in the corresponding receiving spaces 39 of the mounting rail 4. In this case, the reflectors 6, 7 have inwardly or outwardly bent legs, which consequently nestle into the profiled sections 24 of the mounting rail and form-fit there. A light-tight seal is achieved at this point.

In some cases it can be provided for optical reasons that there is a visible joint 36 between the edge 38 of the mounting rail 4 and the associated lower edge of the reflector 6, 7. In Figure 5, it can also be seen that the legs 37 of the reflectors 6, 7 are bent and consequently fit into the correspondingly profiled sections 24 of the mounting rail.

The visible joint 36 serves to compensate for the distance between the mounting rail 45 of a visible support system 8a (FIG. 1) and the difference to the suspended ceiling 46 lying thereon.

It is pointed out again that the substantially V-shaped body 15, the lower part of the mounting rail 4 has the advantage that there are profiled reflector surfaces 16, 17 which result in a flush continuation as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 represent the reflectors 6.7. The luminous efficacy of the diffuser luminaire according to the invention is thus substantially improved.

In addition, it is pointed out that instead of a mounting rail arranged centrally in a lamp trough with an associated reflector basket 10, a plurality of mounting rails 4 with associated reflector baskets 10 arranged in parallel next to one another can also be arranged at a mutual distance in a common lamp trough.

The advantage of the invention is the arrangement of a mounting rail, the modular structure of the entire bath luminaire, which makes it possible for the first time to easily combine different luminaire trays with different mounting rails and associated reflector baskets because of the modular structure. This means that a wide variety of illuminants can be arranged in the reflector basket 10 of different dimensions, and that the diffuser luminaire can be implemented for a wide variety of sizes of ceiling elements without great design effort.

It has been described above that the diffuser luminaire is attached to a ceiling, specifically as a recessed luminaire with a visible or concealed fastening system (Fig. 1 right or left) or as a surface-mounted luminaire (Fig. 2). But it is also possible to have a wall lamp to design accordingly. If necessary, one of the reflectors 6, 7 can also be omitted.
