Claims (7)

  1. Laundry dryer comprising a drum (3) in which the laundry is placed, the said drum being driven in rotation with the aid of a drive motor, a heating element (7) intended to raise the temperature of the air around the laundry, a fan with blades which is intended to blow the heated air towards the laundry, the said fan being driven by a drive motor, and heating-control means intended, on the one hand, to allow heating when the fan is turning in a first direction (A) and, on the other hand, to interrupt the said heating when the fan is turning in a second direction (B), characterized in that the heating-control means consist of mechanical means (11, 12, 16) and a micro-contact (14) placed in series with the heating element (7), the said mechanical means making it possible to open and to close the said micro-contact, the mechanical means (11, 12, 16) including a mechanical component (16) in which a slot (15) is made, a first stub (11) and a second stub (12), both integral with the stator of the motor driving the fan, the said first stub (11) being positioned at one of the two ends of the slot (15) when the fan is turning in the first direction (A) and at the other end of the slot when the fan is turning in the second direction, and the said second stub (12) coming to bear on a third stub (13) belonging to the micro-contact (14) so as to close the latter when the fan is turning in the first direction (A), and no longer being in contact with the said third stub (13) so as to open the micro-contact when the fan is turning in the second direction (B).
  2. Laundry dryer according to Claim 1, characterized in that the motor (1) for driving the drum is the one which drives the fan.
  3. Laundry dryer according to either one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it contains an elastic belt (2) allowing the drum (3) to be driven.
  4. Laundry dryer according to either one of Claims 1 and 2, characterized in that it contains a belt (2) allowing the drum (3) to be driven, and a system for tensioning the said belt.
  5. Laundry dryer according to either one of Claims 3 and 4, characterized in that the mechanical component (16) comprises a second slot (17) allowing the rings (10) for attaching the motor to come into abutment on one end of the said second slot when the motor (1) drops down under the action of its own weight following snapping of the belt (2), so as to open the micro-contact (14).
  6. Laundry dryer according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the blades of the fan are curved.
  7. Laundry dryer according to any one of Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the blades of the fan are flat.
