Description

L'invention est relative à un lave-linge.The invention relates to a washing machine.

A machine of this kind usually comprises a perforated drum containing the laundry rotating inside a tank intended to receive the washing or rinsing water, or the water expelled from the laundry during spinning. A heating resistor is placed at the bottom of the tank to bring the washing water to a chosen temperature: 30 ° C, 40 ° C ... 90 ° C, etc.

A control device ensures the fully automatic operation of the washing machine (see FR-A-1 555 955). In this effect, the latter generally includes a programmer of the electromechanical type, that is to say comprising an electric motor (called “micromotor” so as not to be confused with the drive motor of the drum) which drives cams acting on the state of switches or contacts wired to the various parts of the machine: solenoid valve, motor, micromotor, drain pump, heating resistor, etc. Such an electromechanical programmer can be associated with a circuit for controlling the speed of rotation of the drum drive motor, in particular during wringing which can cause, due to the high speed of rotation of the drum, vibrations dangerous for the machine. . Such a circuit acts for example on a controlled switch, preferably in solid state such as a triac, in series with the drum drive motor in order to control the conduction phase of this switch at each period of the alternating signal of power supply, the conduction time of the static switch being, in each period, a function of the desired speed.

A temperature control switch is generally arranged in series with the water heating resistor; it is opened when the desired temperature is reached. Up to now, such a temperature control switch has been either an electromechanical bulb thermostat or an electronic thermostat. An electromechanical bulb thermostat constitutes a mechanical assembly of a delicate and therefore expensive construction. In addition, such a bulb thermostat is often associated with a cam system - part of the electromechanical programmer - fast forward to go to the next step of the machine execution program as soon as the desired temperature is reached, this which further complicates the production of the programmer.

A so-called electronic thermostat comprises a thermistor or similar detector, a power switch or relay in series with the heating resistor, and an interface circuit for controlling this switch or relay as a function of the signal supplied by the thermistor or the like. Such a set is of a high price.

L'invention remédie aux inconvénients mentionnés ci-dessus.The invention overcomes the drawbacks mentioned above.

The washing machine according to the invention comprises a water heating element supplied with energy depending on the state, open or closed, of a switch of an electromechanical programmer comprising cams driven by an electric micromotor, and temperature control means for interrupting the supply of the heating element when a desired temperature is reached, the micromotor being in series with a static switch whose conduction state depends on the output signal of a control circuit receiving, on the one hand, a signal from a water temperature sensor, and on the other hand, a temperature setpoint signal and acting on the conduction of the static switch to rotate the micromotor in order to '' interrupt the heating element supply when the set temperature is reached (DE-A-3007070). This washing machine is characterized in that an electromechanical programmer switch is provided so that, during periods of water heating, the micromotor is supplied via the static switch, outside these periods, the micromotor is permanently supplied with current via this switch and the conduction state of this static switch is without effect on the supply of said micromotor.

The control circuit thus controls the micromotor and does not act directly on the power circuit (the water heating resistance), which allows a relatively inexpensive embodiment, without power relay.

Furthermore, the presence of the microprocessor does not complicate the production of the machine because this microprocessor can also be used to command or control the speed of rotation of the drum drive motor.

Finally, the electromechanical programmer does not have a fast-forward cam.

Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will appear with the description of some of its embodiments, this being carried out with reference to the appended drawing in which the single figure represents a washing machine programmer in accordance with the invention .

In this example, the drum (not shown) is rotated by an electric motor (also not shown) of the universal type in series with a triac (not shown), the conduction of which depends on an output signal from a microprocessor 10, which allows to control the rotation speed of this motor.

The presence of the microprocessor for controlling the speed of the drum drive motor is used to control, in a simple manner, the supply of the resistor 11 for heating the water in the tank of the washing machine.

To this end, the microprocessor 10 has inputs 10 1 and 10 2 for the introduction of the signal from a temperature sensor 12 such as a thermistor, and inputs 10 3 and 10 4 receiving the signal supplied by a temperature reference means 13 such as a potentiometer.

An output 10 5 of the microprocessor 10 is connected to the trigger 15 of a triac 14, one terminal of which is connected directly to a first terminal 16 on which the AC power supply signal is applied and the other terminal of which is connected to one end 17 i of a switch 17, the second end 17 2 of which is connected to a first terminal 18 1 of a micromotor 18 for driving the cams (not shown) of an electromechanical programmer. The second terminal 18 2 of the micromotor 18 is connected to the second terminal 19 for supplying alternating current.

La position des interrupteurs 17 et 20 dépend de la position de cames entraînées par le micromoteur 18.Terminal 18 1 of micromotor 18 and terminal 17 2 of switch 17 are connected to terminal 20 1 of switch 20 which, like switch 17, is part of the electromechanical programmer. The second terminal 20 2 of the switch 20 is directly connected to the supply terminal 16. The position of the switches 17 and 20 depends on the position of the cams driven by the micromotor 18.

The water heating resistor 11 is, moreover, in series with another switch 21 of the electromechanical programmer as well as with a pressure switch 22 which is a switch closed only when the water level in the tank exceeds a predetermined height . The series assembly of the resistor 11 and of the switches 21 and 22 is disposed between the terminals 16 and 19.

The operation is as follows:
  • During a washing phase proper and when the water level in the tank is sufficient, the switches 21 and 22 are closed, which puts the water heating resistor 11 under tension. At this time the switch 17 is closed and the switch 20 is open. The triac 14 remains blocked as long as the water temperature has not reached the set value set by the potentiometer 13. The microprocessor 10 compares the signals supplied by the thermistor 12 and by the potentiometer 13 and when these signals are equal a signal is delivered on the output 10 5 to make the triac 14 conductive in order to energize the micromotor 18. In other words, during the periods of heating of the water the micromotor 18 is stopped as long as the triac 14 is blocked; it follows that the switches 17, 20 and 21 remain in the position indicated above: the switch 17 is closed, the switch 20 is open and the switch 21 is closed. When the triac 14 is conductive, that is to say when the water temperature is the desired one, the micromotor 18 rotates to drive the cam (s) which allow (tent) to open the switch 21, to open the switch 17 and to close the switch 20. Thus, when the water is at the desired temperature, the micromotor 18 is continuously supplied by means of the switch 20 and the state of the triac 14 has no effect on the power supply of this micromotor.

As a variant, instead of a potentiometer 13, an encoder or selector or switch with n positions is provided, n being the number of setpoint temperatures that it is desired to be able to choose.

Furthermore, it is understood that the term "thermistor" encompasses any type of temperature sensor.
