Claims (6)

1. A display unit for objects of elongate shape, having a display stand and several display compartments, characterised in that the compartments (3) are assembled so as to be inseparable from the display stand (2) and pivotal with respect to the stand (2) about a substantially horizontal axis, the compartments (3) having upper openings (28) and being separated by gaps (27) of small width preventing the manual removal of a bundle of objects of elongate shape, such that in the display position the removal of the objects is effected in small quantities and that in the reloading position the pivoting (R) of the compartments (3) gives access to the upper opening (28) of a given compartment.
2. A unit according to Claim 1, characterised in that the compartments (3) each have a groove (4) for gripping the elongate objects.
3. A unit according to Claim 1 or Claim 2, characterised in that the compartments have rotational shafts (25, 26) held in grooves (11) fast with the display stand.
4. A unit according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the compartments (3) rest one on the other and delimit between them narrow slots (27) of a width corresponding to the removal of an elongate object.
5. A unit according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the compartments have bases (16) provided with a groove (17), each base being raised forwardly and curved in a cylindrical shape (18).
6. A unit according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the compartments (3) are inclined forwardly at an angle included between 5 ° and 35 ° .
