Abstract

The rack has multiple superimposed shelves (5) to receive products at a level of their operational surface, and maintained at a level of vertical pillars (1) constituting the body of the rack, by co-operation of their side posts at the level of the pillars. The shelves are reversible, i.e. they are indifferently used at the level of one or the other of their two operational surfaces. The surface of each shelf is constituted of three rods parallel to the posts and integrated to front and rear rails to support and separate products to be stored and/or displayed by the shelves.

Description

STORAGE AND PRODUCT DISPLAY CABINET

  FIELD OF THE INVENTION The invention relates to a cabinet for storing and displaying objects and other products, more particularly intended to be implanted on store shelves.

  PRIOR STATE OF THE ART Such furniture, also referred to as the Anglo-Saxon rack, are widely known today. They are traditionally made of shelves or shelves superimposed on each other, and juxtaposed with each other.

  Their inclination can be fixed or variable, depending on the desiderata of the department head, and generally the user.

  In some applications, these rays are dedicated to the product (s) they are intended to receive and present. More specifically, the ribs or compartments that they are likely to store generally only one type of product of dimensions and size determined.

  In doing so, if the use of such presentation furniture proves successful in marketing and sales promotion, thereby promoting the capture of the attention of the potential buyer, however such a principle assumes the design of a piece of furniture by type of products, outbid the costs and especially, affecting unacceptably the modularity of the furniture in question.

  Thus, the invention aims at a storage and presentation furniture of the type in question, but likely to have an optimized modularity, and in particular to allow a significant adaptability of the rays that it incorporates rib products and other variable dimensions, typically up to 4 or 5 types of dimensions, so products.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

  According to the invention, this storage and display cabinet for products or objects comprises a plurality of superimposed rays intended to receive said products or objects at their functional surface, and maintained at the level of vertical or essentially vertical posterior abutments. constituting the body of the furniture, by cooperation of their lateral uprights at the level of said pillars.

  This furniture is characterized in that the rays are reversible, that is to say that they can be used indifferently at one or the other of their two functional faces.

  For this purpose, the lateral uprights of each of the spokes incorporate fixing means provided at the rear end of said uprights, each upright comprising two fastening means structured and oriented so as to be able to cooperate with the vertical rear pillars whatever the functional face used. In fact, said lateral amounts entering the constitution of each of the spokes are generally symmetrical with respect to the plane containing the said functional faces, that is to say the receiving surface of the products or objects to be stored and presented.

  In the sense of the invention, the term "generally symmetrical" means that the lateral uprights proper are actually symmetrical with respect to the specified plane, but that the two fastening means they incorporate may not be exactly symmetrical in the as said means may be provided with a plurality of teeth or notches for cooperation with the vertical pillars, and the number of such teeth or notches may vary between the two means. On the other hand, the two fastening means are positioned symmetrically with respect to said plane.

  In addition, the notches or teeth of the fastening means are intended to cooperate with lights provided within the pillars. More specifically, the upper fastening means cooperates with a light by introducing a notch at the lower base of a light, and corollary, the lower fastening means penetrates inside a light located below the previous light without cooperation with the notches which it is provided, but in such a way as to allow the support of the base of the amount against the face of the pillar provided with said lights. 2 In other words, the notches or teeth in question are located at a protrusion protruding from the rear base of each of the lateral uprights, the upper notches facing the lower notches, precisely to allow reversibility previously mentioned.

  According to another characteristic of the invention, the functional surface consists of rods parallel to the lateral uprights and each fixed to cross members, respectively posterior and anterior, solidarisant said lateral uprights of a same radius between them.

  In other words, this functional surface is not full, but perforated.

  According to the invention, these rods are inscribed in at least two parallel and different planes, or even in three planes.

  They are both capable of serving as a support, and separator products that are intended to receive the rays.

  These rods may be cylindrical or even wire, but may also consist of angles, one of the branches serves as a support, and the other acts as a separator.

  According to another characteristic of the invention, the notches provided with the fastening means have a pitch or a spacing depending on the one hand, the pitch separating two consecutive lights formed in the vertical or substantially vertical pillars, and on the other hand. on the other hand, the effective length of each of the rays.

  In doing so, for a number of possible inclinations, the invention makes it possible to maintain the anterior cross member, advantageously carrying a price tag or product designation label, at the same level for a plurality of juxtaposed spokes.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES

  The manner in which the invention can be realized and the advantages which derive therefrom will emerge more clearly from the exemplary embodiment which follows given by way of non-limiting indication in support of the appended figures. Figure 1 is a schematic perspective view of the storage and storage unit according to the invention. FIGS. 2 and 3 are diagrammatic representations in perspective of a spoke used in the piece of furniture according to the invention, in its two operative positions, FIG. 3 corresponding to FIG. 2 after rotation of 180 of the spoke on it; even. Figures 4 to 6 are schematic cross-sectional representations of the radius of Figures 2 and 3, according to the first functional orientation for three types of products to present different.

  Figure 7 is also a cross-sectional representation, but of the other functional orientation of said spoke, and containing another type of products. Figure 8 is a schematic representation in side view of the cabinet according to the invention, adapted to illustrate the maintenance at the same level of the anterior cross for several juxtaposed rays, but different inclinations.

EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

  Figure 1 shows, as already said, the storage cabinet and presentation of products of the invention. In the example described, these products consist of pots of paint (6, 7, 8, 9) of different sizes and dimensions.

  Basically, this piece of furniture consists of a plurality of vertical or substantially vertical pillars (1), stabilized on the ground by means of a base (4), and in addition, laterally by means of longitudinal members (2). The distance between pillars is standardized and in the example described the same.

  Each of these pillars (1) has on its anterior face lights (3), extending along its entire height, in a step p determined. These lights (3) are of rectangular shape and allow the introduction into their means of fixing the spokes (5) described in more detail later.

  It is easy to understand that in the absence of upstanding pillars, the different radii are positioned cantilevered with respect to the pillars (1) and in a traditional manner. The spokes (5) according to the invention will now be described in more detail.

  Basically, these firstly comprises two lateral uprights (10) consisting of a plate, in particular a metal plate, and secured to one another by respectively posterior (12) and anterior (11) crosspieces, particularly by welding. These sleepers are also made of metal plates.

  According to the invention, these lateral uprights (10) are generally symmetrical with respect to the plane formed by the reference operational surface of the radius, that is to say by the surface of the radius intended to receive the products to be stored and / or to present. According to the invention, the rear zone of these lateral uprights flares on either side of the posterior cross member (12).

  This posterior zone therefore comprises a linear base (13) of much greater length than the anterior zone. This base (13) has two projections (14) and (15), located in the same plane as the plate defining the lateral amount (10), and intended to form the beam attachment means on the pillars (1). These projections are of thickness adapted to be inserted into the lights (3) which is provided with the anterior face of said pillars.

  Each of the projections (14) and (15) is provided with notches (16), the notches of the projection (14) being directed towards the notches of the projection (15) and vice versa. In other words, the notches in question are facing each other. The notches (16) are intended to engage at the lower base of said lights (3).

  According to the invention, when a spoke (5) is in place, only the notches of the upper projection relative to the horizontal cooperate with the lights, the lower projection penetrating simply into the corresponding light to allow the base (13 linear to come to bear against the anterior face of the pillar provided with said lights.

  It is already conceivable that, because of the mode of fixation of the spokes (5) on the pillars (1), the said rays are reversible, since the only modes of attachment are in the posterior zone of the radius. being, as already indicated, mounted cantilevered. As a corollary, the operational face of the spokes is not full, but is defined by a number of rods (17), (18) and (19) extending parallel to the side posts (10). These rods are secured to the anterior (11) and posterior (12) crosspieces, as can be seen in FIGS. 2 and 3. In the present case, these rods, in particular (17) and (18), consist of simple rigid metal wires welded to said sleepers (11) and (12).

  In addition, they add angles (19), one (20) of the two branches 10 extends substantially in the plane defined by part of the wire rods (17). As can be seen, particularly in relation to FIGS. 4 to 7, these rods are not limited to a simple supporting role of the products that the rays are intended to store and / or present, but are also susceptible, if acting in particular the rod (18) or angles (19) to act as a separator of said products. The positioning of these rods thus makes it possible, for the same radius (5), to store and / or present different types of products.

  Thus, in FIGS. 4 to 6, in which the spoke (5) is oriented in a first configuration corresponding to FIG. 3, the wire rods (17) are all located in the same plane P, represented by discontinuous lines.

  As a corollary, the angles (19) are each equidistant from the respective lateral uprights (10). In doing so, it defines three zones of substantially same width, adapted to receive for example cylindrical pots (7) placed on their base, as shown in Figure 4, where the same cylindrical pots (7), posed according to their side face (Figure 5).

  In FIG. 4, it can be seen that the pots, therefore located on their base, are received for each of the zones on the two wire ties (17) and are separated by one (21) of the two branches of the brackets (19). ). In contrast, the wire rod (18) is in this configuration, inoperative.

  In FIG. 5, the pots, positioned along their sidewalls, rest limitatively on the two wire rods (17). Because of the slightly spaced apart position of said wire rods (17) at each of the aforementioned zones, the angle separator function (19) is not implemented. FIG. receiving pots (6) and (9) of larger dimensions. According to this configuration, the pots in question are based limitatively on the upper free edge (22) of the branch (21) of the brackets (19), said arm (21) providing in one of the preceding configurations (FIG. 4) the function of separator. In doing so, the free edge (22) of the two angles (19) defines a plane P ', different from the plane P, but parallel to it.

  At the level of FIG. 7, in which the spoke has been turned over to provide another operational face according to the invention, this time corresponding to FIG. 2, it defines a plane P ", always defined by the wire rods ( 17) and furthermore by the branch (20) of the brackets (19).

  In addition, the wire rod (18), extending in the middle of the spoke (5), is located in another plane, and acts as a separator. In doing so, the spoke can receive the pots (8) of intermediate dimensions between pots of small dimensions (7) and large dimensions (6) and (9), and represented here by rectangles in broken lines.

  It can therefore be seen from the simple visualization of these figures that with the same radius (5), it is possible to allow five different configurations, in particular for four dimensions of different containers.

  It is conceivable that the invention is quite flexible.

  As a corollary, and as can be seen in particular in FIGS. 1 and 8, it is possible to obtain, in a given configuration, different inclinations of juxtaposed radii, while retaining for each of them the positioning of the anterior cross member (11) according to the same level.

  This feature is advantageous insofar as it allows a continuity in the indications traditionally carried by the front cross member, in particular the price or the designation of the products exposed on the shelves considered.

  To do this, the spacing or pitch separating the notches (16) at the projections (14) 35 or (15) is chosen so as to take into account, on the one hand, the step e separating the lumens (3). the pillar, and secondly, the length of said rays.

  Everything happens as the radius in question pivoted around a virtual axis of articulation constituted by the locating position of the anterior cross member (11).

  It is conceivable the whole interest of the furniture of the invention, which in a simple way to achieve on the one hand, and to use on the other hand, allows to have a great modularity and a great adaptability of the spokes to different types of products.

  In particular, it makes it possible to no longer use a piece of furniture dedicated to each type or to each product dimension, thereby significantly reducing the corresponding costs.

Claims (10)

  1. A storage and display cabinet for products or objects (6 to 9) comprising a plurality of superimposed spokes (5) intended to receive said products or objects at their functional surface and maintained at the level of pillars ( 1) vertical or substantially vertical uprights constituting the body of the furniture, by cooperation of their lateral uprights (10) at the level of said pillars, characterized in that the spokes (5) are reversible, that is to say that they can be used indifferently at one or the other of their two functional faces.   2. Storage and display cabinet according to claim 1, characterized in that the lateral uprights (10) of each of the spokes (5) incorporate fastening means (14, 15) formed at the rear end (13) of said amounts, each amount comprising two fastening means structured and oriented so as to cooperate with the vertical rear pillars (1) regardless of the functional face used.   3. Storage and display cabinet according to claim 4, characterized in that the upper fastening means cooperates with a light by introducing one of the notches at the lower base of a light (3), and corollary , the lower fixing means penetrates inside a light located below the preceding light without cooperation with the notches which it is provided with, but so as to make it possible to carry out the support of the base (13) of the lateral amount considered against the face of the pillar provided with said lights.   6. Storage and display cabinet according to one of claims 2 to 6, characterized in that the functional surface of each spoke (5) consists of rods (17, 18, 19) parallel to the lateral uprights (10), and each fixed to crosspieces, respectively posterior (12) and anterior (11), solidarisant said lateral uprights of a same radius between them.   8. Storage and display cabinet according to claim 7, characterized in that the rods (17, 18, 19) defining the functional surface of the spokes (5) are inscribed in at least two parallel planes and different, or even according to three planes, and in that they are both capable of acting as a support, and separator products that are intended to receive the rays.   9. Storage and display cabinet according to one of claims 7 and 8, characterized in that part of the rods (17, 18) is cylindrical or wire, and in that the other rods consist of angles (19), at least one of the branches that constitute them serves as a support, and the other acts as a separator.   10.
