Abstract

The shelves (2) and rails (3) are held by uprights (1) that are made from a thin sheet of aluminium. This is folded to form projected parts (112) which have rows of horizontal holes (13) across them that form slides for the shelves and rails. The lower edge (131) of each hole supports the shelf or the rail. The uprights are each fixed to the lateral walls (41) of a container (4), which stiffens them. Their outer ends (114) are folded in and fixed to the walls. The depth of the holes is slightly greater than the thickness of the shelves.

  of articles and clothing accessories "The invention relates to a device for storing or presenting various objects, in particular in the field of clothing and its accessories such as leather goods, of modular design, falling within the constitution of furniture such as cupboards or wardrobes, with a view to equipping premises such as

sales or exhibition stores.

  Known devices equipping ves stores: imentaires, such as shelves, hanger holders, etc., require wall mounting, which involves preparing the walls intended to receive these devices, and in particular good flatness and good finish of the walls, and, in the case of di-oosives in the form of furniture in juxtaposed elements, a wedging e! ement by element, which

  considerably lengthens their installation time.

  The inadequacy of the maneuverability of these known devices is clearly apparent to the personnel responsible for daily restocking, which often requires

modification of the location.

  In addition, the user is obliged to buy most of the organs constituting the device from the same distributor or manufacturer, the organs of the various existing devices being generally not only incompatible but more difficult to modify with a view to their mutual adaptation, which does not minimize the costs of fitting out the store as much as would be desirable. Also, these devices require storage in duplicates of all the organs, in order to meet all the storage or / and presentation needs, which are variable in particular according to the seasons; for example, a cabinet module 1.5m wide and 2.45m high requires two hanging bars and four bar holders for a "hanged" presentation, and a " folded ", four to six shelves and thus eight to twelve

shelf support consoles.

  The object of the invention is to remedy these drawbacks by creating a device of modular design, that is to say that can be formed from a common base, of parts of different functions but interchangeable as required, and which can be juxtaposed with other devices made from the same base and from both different and identical parts. The invention therefore aims to create such a display that is - handy and simple to use, so that it can be implemented by a minimum of mechanical actions, requires only a few additional accessories to optimal operation, and allows great speed at the time of use; universal, that is to say that it allows storage and presentation of objects such as folded, hanged or locker articles, and can be used in any configuration of shop; - economical to manufacture and assemble; - space-saving to encroach at least on sales areas and in stores; aesthetic when it is partially or

totally visible.

  To this end, the invention relates to a device for storing or presenting objects, in particular articles and clothing accessories, of the type comprising uprights adapted to removably support at least one carrying member or a member for hanging objects to be stored or presented, display stand characterized in that the uprights are made of sheet material shaped with folds and having at least one series of elongated slots intended to form slides for the carrying member or the 'suspension member, the lights of each series extending in a first direction and succeeding in a second direction, one of the edges of each light extending in the first direction constituting a support means for the member carrying or organ for hanging objects. Thanks to the fact that the uprights are made of sheet material and the slides are formed by lights made in the sheet, the number of separate pieces is very small and thus the volume for storing them can be reduced and the risk of

loss of parts is minimized.

  According to a preferred characteristic of the invention, the uprights are kept fixed relative to one another by a mutual securing device, advantageously by being fixed in a

  box such as an arrangement piece of furniture known per se.

  Thanks to this direct attachment to a piece of furniture, the store layout material can be prepared in advance in the workshop, and the installation time in the store is reduced; the store walls can remain as they are, since they are obscured by the furniture, which saves time and significantly reduces the

  The device represented in FIG. 1 is intended for the storage or / and for the presentation of objects, in particular articles and clothing accessories,

  for example in clothing stores.

  This device comprises uprights 1 associated by two, adapted to removably support at least one shelf or a shelf 2 intended to carry folded clothing items, and / or a bar 3 intended to receive hangers for

  a storage or a hanged presentation.

  The uprights 1 are kept fixed relative to each other here advantageously by the fact that they are fixed inside an arrangement piece of furniture in the form of a box 4 capable of internally receiving an installation lighting; however, another type of

  The slides are arranged in the respective zones 111, 112, 113 of the two uprights 1 which are the least spaced apart, and are constituted by slots 13 elongated in horizontal direction and succeeding each other in vertical direction one above the other, the contours are cut at right angles in these areas of the gutters; in the hypothesis where each upright comprises only a single gutter, it would only be provided with a series of lights 13, and in the present case o it comprises two gutters 11, it is provided with two series of lights; these slots 13 extend not only in the bottoms 112 but also over part of the side walls 111, 113 of the gutters, so as to allow the shelves 2 to slide, the width of which is naturally greater than the spacing of the bottoms of the gutters opposite, towards and from the bottom 42 of the box. It should be noted that in order to obtain good stability of the shelves 2 in the slides 13 and thus minimize the risks of sliding, tilting and falling of these shelves, on the one hand the horizontal parallel edges 131, 132 of each light are spaced d '' a distance very little greater than the thickness of the shelves, and on the other hand the dimensions and the relative spacings of the slides

  More specifically, the width of the gutter closest to the bottom 42 of the device is approximately half the width of the inlet gutter, and the two gutters are separated by a distance of the order of three to four times the width of the narrowest gutter (the bottom one); thus, when a shelf 2 initially supported by the lower edges 131 of the four lights 13 arranged at the same level, as a result of a fortuitous sliding towards the front, escapes the grip of the lights of the bottom (long for example of six at eight centimeters), it is not sufficiently cantilevered to tip backwards and slide out of the grip of the entrance lights; on the other hand, a sliding of greater amplitude towards the front would even bring the shelf in stable position on the lower edges 131 of the lights of the front gutter; additional sliding forward only results in the shelf falling if only a few centimeters of it (three or four) remain engaged with the horizontal edges of the front lights. As we have seen, the ends of the side walls 113 of the uprights 1 are folded 90 degrees towards the inside of the gutters, and thus determine tongues 114 extending longitudinally; these tongues 114 are provided with holes 115 (FIG. 2) spaced at regular intervals along their length, intended to allow passage to the body of screws 116 for fixing the uprights to the walls of the box for their mutual securing; preferably, these holes are arranged in the regions of the tabs 114 which are opposite the openings, so that the heads of the screws 116 are accessible by these openings

in the absence of a shelf.

  The rails are also used to support one or more suspension bars 3. Conventional suspension bars are tubular profiled bars having in straight cross section an approximately rectangular shape with rounded angles and one of the short sides of which is in an arc of circumference ( Figure 3); the distance between the edges 131, 132 of the lights extending horizontally is chosen to be greater than the thickness of these conventional bars 3, but less than the height of the latter. The invention aims to prevent as much as possible, that the suspension bars 3 can escape the grip of the lights 13; for this purpose, the logger of the suspension bars is chosen to be greater not only than the spacing of the bottoms 112 of the gutters, but even that of the vertical end edges 133 arranged opposite the facing lights, extending in the side walls 113 of the gutters connecting the bottoms 112 thereof to the fixing tongues 114, but naturally less than the spacing of the lateral partitions 41 of the box; moreover the suspension bars 3 are machined so that they can be used as conventional bars although the distance between the horizontal edges 131, 132 of the openings is less than the height of their straight cross section. For this, near the opposite ends of the bars 3, there are provided regions 31 of insertion between the edges of the slides, having a straight cross section reduced in height relative to that of the central region of the bar. The reduction in section can be obtained by means of flat (s) or, as in the present case, of notch (s) 32, 33 extending in a transverse plane relative to the bar, the two transverse planes defining the two insertion zones being spaced apart by a distance equal to that which separates the bottoms 112 opposite the gutters. For example, each insertion region 31 between the edges of the slides has at least one notch 32 (here, in the drawings, two opposite notches 32, 33) whose bottom intersects the direction of the height h of the cross section of the bar, at an angle other than 90 degrees, so that if the bar is in the normal use position (Figure 3D), pressing on the lower edge 131 of a light, by its base or by the background of its lower notch 33, it can be pivoted in one direction (rearward) until the entire section of the bar 3 piat included in the space between the norizontal edges 131, 132 of the lights (FIG. 3A) , but cannot be pivoted in the opposite direction (forward) as a result of the bottom stop 321 of the upper notch 32 (cu the bottom 321, 331 of at least one of the notches 32, 33) center a horizontal edge
