Claims (15)

  1. Make-up device, including a cylindrical body (1) capable of housing a leaktight container (2) of a viscous or pasty make-up product, in particular a mascara, means (3, 5), associated with the said container, for performing metered dispensing of the product contained in the container through a front outlet nozzle (4) thereof onto an applicator (6, 9) mounted permanently on the said cylindrical body (1), in the Vicinity of the front end (1a) thereof, the said applicator comprising a rod (6), at the end of which an application element (9) is mounted, the said rod being provided with an internal conduit (7) communicating with the outlet nozzle (4) of the container (2), and a cap (13) capable of covering the said applicator and provided at its open end with means (14, 16) for releasably fastening it onto the said body, in the vicinity of the said front end thereof, characterized in that the internal conduit (7) of the rod (6) opens through at least one orifice (8) at the periphery of the said rod (6), between the application element (9) and the container (2), and in that the said means (14, 16) of the cap comprise an adapter (14), secured to the cap (13) and provided with an external screw thread (16) capable of cooperating with an internal screw thread (10) made on the body in the vicinity of its front end (1a), the said adapter (14) comprising at least one bearing zone (17) forming a surface for spooning the product onto the application element (9) of the applicator when the cap (13) is removed, the said bearing zone (17) being located between the orifice (8) and the container (2) when the cap (13) covers the applicator (6, 9).
  2. Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the rod (6') of the applicator is mounted fixed in the said body, being in particular made integrally therewith.
  3. Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the said rod (6) of the applicator can move longitudinally in the said body.
  4. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the cylindrical body (1) includes open ends (1a, 1b), and the preferably rigid leaktight product container is mounted so as to slide inside the said body, between a position in which its rear end part (2b) projects from the open rear end (1b) of the body and a position in which the said rear end part (2b) of the container is inserted into said body.
  5. Device according to Claim 4, characterized in that, at its front end, the container (2) includes a pump mechanism (3) which can be actuated as a result of movement of the container in the body, in order to produce a pressure reduction inside the volume of the container.
  6. Device according to Claim 5, characterized in that the pump mechanism (3) is fixed to the said container (2).
  7. Device according to Claim 5, characterized in that the pump mechanism (3) is mounted separably on the said container (2).
  8. Device according to any one of Claims 5 to 7, characterized in that, in order to expel a metered quantity of the product through the front outlet nozzle of the container to the applicator, a sliding piston (5) is provided in the container, one face of which piston communicates with the atmosphere, in particular through an orifice (2d) provided in the rear end wall (2c) of the container, the piston being moved in the container as a result of the pressure reduction created by the pump mechanism.
  9. Device according to any one of Claims 5 to 7, characterized in that, in order to expel a metered quantity of product through the front outlet nozzle of the container to the applicator, a deformable-wall pouch containing the product is provided in the container, the said pouch being externally subjected to atmospheric pressure, in particular through an orifice made in the rear end wall of the container, the metered quantity of product being expelled from the pouch as a result of the pressure reduction created by the actuation of the pump mechanism.
  10. Device according to any one of Claims 3 to 9, characterized in that the adapter (14) includes an internal bearing zone (18) of cross-section corresponding to the cross-section of the end part (6a) of the rod of the applicator, for firmly tightened mounting of the adapter (14) on the rod (6).
  11. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the cap (13) surrounds the applicator with small clearance.
  12. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the cap (13) is made of a bacteriostatic material or includes a lining made of a bacteriostatic material.
  13. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the cap (13) is covered by an outer cover (19).
  14. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the container (2) is an interchangeable cartridge.
  15. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the application element (9) is a brush.
