Definitions

  • Second elastic return means can be arranged to return the override button from its "Manual” position to its "Automatic” position when the button retaining means in the "Manual” position are put out of action by the displacement of the movable armature due to energization of the electromagnet.
  • FR-A-2 383 480, FR-A-2 484 694 and FR-A-2 533 068 the closest prior art
  • closure and the opening of the contact bridges are carried out by a complex mechanism comprising on the one hand a pallet or yoke integral with the armature of the electromagnet, which describes an angular movement under the action of the latter, and on the other share a slide on which the pallet or the cylinder head acts to transmit the movement of the frame to a contact bridge support integral with said slide.
  • the kinematics of known devices is complicated and is all the more perfectible as it requires a certain number of articulations, axes of rotation, bearings, snap-on parts, asymmetries and door false, which, in addition to the costs associated with the large number of parts and their assembly, not only penalizes the transmission of the action of the electromagnet, or resulting force, but also is a source of breakdowns.
  • the invention therefore aims to provide a new arrangement of this type of device, improving the operation and efficiency of these devices, with a reduced number of parts.
  • Another objective of the invention is to reduce the manufacturing costs of these devices, while making them more reliable and less bulky.
  • Another object of the invention is to provide an apparatus which can be declined in various variants corresponding to different control voltages and / or to different numbers and positions of the contacts of the working circuit (s).
  • Another object of the invention is to provide an apparatus which can be easily adapted to control several working circuits.
  • the frame can be arranged so as to be braked in its active limit switch, by the elastic contact blades of the auxiliary circuit which thus act as a shock absorber.
  • the lower part of the slide has substantially the shape of a plate parallel to the median plane of the carcass, which comprises, on each of its two flat faces, a central projecting part coming from molding and delimiting a housing for a bridge. contact and its pressure spring, and which is designed to be able to slide in a bottom part of the housing, while the support carcass rests on said bottom part, the maintenance of the magnetic circuit and slide assembly being completed by the complementarity of form between the device housing and this assembly.
  • the means for guiding the override button can form two parallel slides in which snap guide projections provided on the sides of the override button. In the vicinity of their central part, these slides can each have a relief intended to cooperate with said guide projections to determine a forced crossing zone between the zones corresponding to the "Stop" and "Automatic" positions of the override button. In the vicinity of the end of the slides, opposite the zone corresponding to the "Stop" position, the carcass may carry support means for a spring acting as second elastic return means.
  • each sectioning contact blade of an auxiliary circuit Preferably, for each sectioning contact blade of an auxiliary circuit, one can provide a pusher guided by one end in a hole made in the top of the carcass, this end of the pusher being biased by a ramp profile formed in the part lower of the override button, and the other end of which is engaged with the elastic contact blade which acts as an elastic return means.
  • the elastic contact blades can have substantially the shape of a U and can be clipped to the base of the carcass by their bent end, so as to have a lower branch parallel to, and located on the side of, the bottom of the housing and an upper branch parallel to the previous one and more distant from said bottom, the two branches tending to move away from one of the 'other and the end of the upper branch applying elastically against an auxiliary fixed contact connected to an auxiliary terminal.
  • the pusher is engaged with the upper branch.
  • the elastic contact blades are electrically connected to the electromagnet by their bent part or by a tab extending therefrom.
  • At least two elastic contact blades are provided, arranged on the same side, or diagonally on either side, of the median plane of the housing.
  • the switching device can comprise means for rectifying the alternating current supplying the electromagnet.
  • the lower and upper branches of the elastic U-shaped contact blades can be used very advantageously for bridging the rectifying means, by simple elastic contact, for example with the conductors of the electronic components or with contact tracks of a printed circuit.
  • the switching device may include, for example, inserted in the auxiliary circuit, components or printed circuits intended to supply the electromagnet with rectified current.
  • the bottom of the housing comprises means for receiving the printed circuit boards, arranged so as to ensure the aforesaid bridging by the contact blades; this bridging is notably ensured by the lower branches of the U-shaped blades, but can also be provided by branches if necessary.
  • upper of these blades which can then advantageously include an extension directed towards the bottom of the housing and / or by a contact tab of an auxiliary terminal, while certain elastic contact blades can have a lateral tab to ensure an electrical connection with a juxtaposed blade.
  • the slide is made in one piece, in particular by molding, and can even incorporate a means of indicating its actuation position visible from the outside of the housing.
  • the switch device shown in Figure 1 comprises a modular housing formed by a cover 1 and a base or bottom 2 comprising conventional clip means 3 and 4 to secure the device to a common support rail, not shown.
